I give this Spectrum store location ZERO stars. The employees at this location DO NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR! Theses people are simply lazy and they converse too much with each other instead of helping the customers. Yes... I found out the hard way that the store had moved from College street to the Marketplace in HH, and that an appointment can be made prior to turning in your equipment to limit wait time. I had a in-house service tech at my home and I made a call to Spectrum the day before for technical issue's and NO ONE on either occasion disclosed to me that you could make an appointment to alleviate the wait time. After arriving to the store the employees were lazy, slow, complaining, and sloth-like! When I got to the counter to be helped the employee said that I could have taken the receivers to UPS, "TO SAVE HIM SOME WORK"! WTH it's your job... DO IT! Another customer was left at the kiosk for 45 minutes and the employee either left for break or went home for the day. The lobby was full and they had two employees to serve 18+ customers. The employees spent entirely TOO MUCH time chatting amongst each other and not doing anything to keep the customers satisfied. If I mail the equipment I will still be charged until the equipment reach Spectrum and one of your lazy reps scan it in as received. (Don't mean to name call but the truth should hit home). I wanted charges to stop immediately for returning my equipment. To turn in equipment it took approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in line. UNBELIEVABLE! Employees are only as good as their supervisors so if this is the best you can do at this location.... REPLACE THEM ALL! Respectfully, A longtime loyal customer that desire change. read more

Sat in the store waiting for hours just to replace equipment. We definitely need more competition in the HH Killeen area, because these people like to act like we are not paying for the service. When you see 20 people standing in line for 30 min, don't spend 45 min talking to one customer. Have some sense of urgency....OR hire more people. Ridiculous. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't expect to get helped within an hour of getting there. If you live anywhere that has a different provider. Go with the other provider. The internet I pay for goes out all the time out of nowhere. I have called their support multiple times and never get the issue resolved. Just wasted 2 hours just waiting to turn in equipment. They had 6 desks, 3 of them were occupied, and only ONE was calling out names on the list. Heard conflicting things about what to do for equipment turn in, and ultimately had to travel to UPS because they wouldn't help, welcome me, or notify customers of busy times. Instead you just see blank stare, people ignoring eye contact, and employees having conversations among themselves about random topics. Interesting stuff all around read more

First, there is no other choice. They were Time Warner, which have been around here a long time, but the service is mediocre at best. Probably, because there is no competition. There sales staff tell you one price for an add on but the billed price is higher. At least, in my case. Also, it is not that reliable in that at home I usually get one maybe 2 bars, which seems to make my downloads extremely slow even on Facebook. And the ad is bogus. What hidden fee from other companies compare the bills, people. They are the same fees and taxes that everyone pays. I've had five different internet providers in my life and this one is probably number four, three at best. read more

Why are there zero good cable/internet providers? With that said these guys are in the running for the worst. Terrible customer service and inflated prices. We eventually cut everything except internet. Now we go through a server rest every 23 min. I don't know what other options are out there but I am glad I'm moving so I can stop being their customer. If I was able to give zero stars I would.... first off they will scam you with prices... they will charge you a set price then it will increase 20 dollars a month out of nowhere and when you call them they will tell you it's standard... second, they are garbage you'll be paying for absolutely no reason because their internet never works, it will stop working every single day for multiple times during that day. Literally 30 ppl in here but only 2 workers taking customers. 3 other workers just standing talking and laughing with each other and constantly talking to the only 2 workers that are actually working which severely distracts them. It's taking 27 mins to complete 1 customer. read more

They will over charge you and after you pay them they will wait a couple months and then they start sending you more bills and then when you in they will tell you they show no payment and after you talk to all the pee on's you get a manager on the phone and he will get very quickly in a defense mold and tell you that you are full of sh#. If i could give 0 stars i would. Its no wonder the other two locations close cause theyre so crappy at functioning -5 stars for having a 35 person wait. -5 more stars for deleting people who didnt stand there (left for 30 mins, was literally a couple doors down) within 30 mins we were only number 30. Half our family was at at&t the other one was there. Busy; fine , we get it. So, we make a reservation for later. Cool. Reservation is at 5. So we go in. Well guess what? You need to sign in still and wait even with a reservation, Cherry on top of the sundae. ; The idiot working there didnt give us a coaxle cable so we have to buy one at walmart That being said the customer service rep who helped us with the self set up was amazing. They should really close down all their brick and mortar stores and switch over to kiosks and self setups because whoever they have working has a half eaten muffin for a brain. read more

This location either has too few staff or poor management that has no clue how to manage their store. There are employees just sitting behind their workstations and around 15 customers impatiently waiting. All the reviews are true. I should have heeded the warnings. Very poor service. Only one employee seemed to care about helping people, the others just taking their time messing around. After waiting an hour and a half we were told we could not be helped because of some internal data problems. Then spent atleast 5 hours on the phone last night trying to resolve it. Even the store supervisor did not know what to do as well as customer service on the phone. They sure do not mind taking your auto pay on time but don't care about your issues they have created. Spectrum CEO or Store Manager here in Harker Heights needs to ADD MORE PEOPLE TO WORK FOR THE STORE. 2/3 workers per the amount of customers that enter the location EACH DAY is NOT a proportionate amount! You claim to care about the customer and provide excellent customer service, it's kind of hard to do that when you are having each customer wait hours for service! Stop being cheap, pay out some more cash for more employees! 6 registers in the store but yet only 2 working right now, with 18 customers, including myself in store. Ridiculous! Spectrum is only getting customers here, at least in my case, because they're the only provider in my area! If they weren't I would of said f--k this half an hour ago! This is one of the most horrible services i have had. This would be the second time we have made a trip up there to get equipment that was supposed to be ready and come to find out the order wasn't even in the system and we wait over 2 hours! i understand a business gets busy but when all there is , is chit chat with employees and there friends or the employees on there phone and not trying to help the customers is ridiculous ! The communication is aweful between the people you talk to con the phone and to the stores for orders and the people who work at this location have been nothing but rude . First let me say that this place always has a long wait time. I will see only 2 people actively working with what seems like a couple more about to start but nope. My recommendation to help with this issue is to have people handling different sections. Have a phone section, a return or pickup equipment and a section for any other Issues. Clearly the biggest thing I see people waiting for is the phone service so not sure why this is just a basic help all set up? read more

I came into the Spectrum office today located in Harkerheights, TX and waited for over an hour. All I was in store to do was to return equipment because I was disconnecting my service. The female I was talking to informed me they are required to try and sale service to every customer that comes in the store. A customer knows when they want to add service. I don't think by trying to sale a customer on services will matter. I think it should be setup where one REP handles the turn in of equip. One REP handles sales and another REP handles billing. This will make all customers happy and it will not keep customers waiting for hours. Not sure who management is of that office but it doesn't seem as if he knows how to make the flow of customers better for business read more

If I could give this location a negative 10, I certainly would!! This is the poorest excuse for a professional establishment! I sat in this place for over 2.5 hours with a scheduled appointment. I watched the employees spinning their chairs, laughing and joking with each other, taking multiple smoke breaks, fist bumping with their friends that walked in and gave them immediate service. I asked to speak with the Supervisor and Sandra , who smelt like a completely full ashtray, stated they don't have a supervisor. After asking why it takes so long to get assistance she had the audacity to raise her voice at me and another customer, who had been waiting longer than myself...REALLY SANDRA - you and your staff are a complete disgrace! Spectrum should really try to represent better and have staff that is willing to understand the frustration opposed to making it obvious that you don't care whether customers are satisfied!!! read more
