I went in for a warranty replacement for a battery for my Jeep Gladiator. I explained that it was not starting my Jeep plus it would not take a charge. I had it tested and the indications were that it was a bad battery. In some time. His response was maybe it didn't have a "natural failure ". He also claimed that my vehicle had not run in some time. I told him we had just used it and everything was fine. He said that he had to charge it and test it. He would only offer a "loaner battery " until he charged it for half a day. He implied that I was apparently dishonest. I asked him what I could expect with the warranty for a replacement. He would not tell me. He mentioned some formula based on the charge that it would take. I told him it had 4.3 volts when I bought it in. His multimeter indicated 4.2 volts. In any case, avoid this business for vehicle batteries with questionable business practices and working to not honor their warranty. read more

We had scheduled an appointment for a screen repair at 4:30pm. We were told we would get a call once the repair was done at around 6pm. We didn't receive a call. A courtesy call letting us know they would have to keep it until the following day would've been ideal, especially being that the phone is necessary for a 10hour shift the next day. Have issues with battery warranties. You buy batteries to use when required and then you go to use them and one of them doesn't work and they inform you the warranty is good for only 24 hours. Stay away from this place and read the many reviews that cover non warranty coverage. read more

Do NOT have any dealings with this store. I called to get a quote for a hinge flex cable replacement for my Samsung Flip 4 phone and was told that the store didn't sell/carry the part, but when I informed them that I would provide them with the part, they still refused to install it, while suggesting that I replace the entire screen, something that would cost me upwards of $400. I explained that I just watched a YouTube video where the guy completed the replacement in under 5 minutes, but the store representative remained obstinate. read more

Worst place to buy batteries the warranty is a sham. Purchased an XS AGM for over 300$ with 3 year warranty, the batteries are crappie. You cannot charge with more than 15v alternator Read the fine print there are more ways to void the warranty than it is to replace the defective product. They just built me a 6 cell 7.2vNimh battery pack for a small r/c truck! It works great! My only complaints was that they didn't have the batteries in stock(neither store in heights nor temple had them)& it took 5-6 days to get it! It is what it is! Luckily I wasn't in a big hurry so really not too big of a problem! The price was reasonable and most importantly the battery pack fit the r/c truck! I purchased a set of X2 boat batteries (almost $700 for 2) for my boat because they sold me on the 5-year warranty. 5 months later one of the my batteries lost its charge and would not hold a charge. It fell below the charging limitations (10v). They would not honor the warranty because the charge dropped below 10volts. They expected me to check the battery on a daily basis to make sure the battery is still above 10volts. The battery has been of the boat battery charger for 3.5 months and they said it sat too long or my charger drained it even if the charger was not plugged in for months. I've had numerous boats and always had my battery charger hookd up and never had this happen, especially this soon. I've had batteries go bad after a few years. I purchased 2 of the exact batteries, and the other one is fine. So for I understand the warranty is good o ly if the battery is good. Will never do business with this organization again, not even for a flashlight battery. Definitely do not recommend this business to anyone. Very poor customer service. Oblivious its all about the sale. They do not stand behind their products. read more

The staff was friendly but after I went to turn my phone in to fix the screen, I got a call saying it would have to be sent up due to the LED light was going bad, it would take a week and be $130. I was fine with it. A week went by, the phone came in, I got the call, I went to pick it up, and the price was $200. The guy cashing me out knocked $25 off by inputting discounts but the price would remain $175. I've never paid much attention to this place even after frequently this shopping center for years until a Lowe's employee recommended it. Yes, Lowe's employee!!! The rechargeable solar batteries required for the exterior lawn lights are not sold at Lowe's. Upon entry, I was greeted immediately and after a customer at the counter was competed her purchase, the gentleman asked what he could assist me with which he did; quickly and professionally. I may have been in the store between 3 - 5 minutes. The store not only sales batteries but provides cell phone repair services. It supplies a variety of batteries, worth checking out when in need of an uncommonly found battery that is needed faster than Amazon can deliver. read more

Worst ever. I spent 97$ on a screen replacement for a iPhone 6s Plus, when he was finished he told me that my phone was bent a little so the screen was lifted a little bit on the side, he recommended getting a case. I got it fixed only July 4th, the next day the it started pushing buttons on its own then it cracked straight down the middle. I DID NOT DROP IT. I called a spoke to someone who told me "if your phone is bent there is a possibility the screen can crack." The man who fixed my phone never told me this, if I would of known my screen could crack I wouldn't of spent 97$ getting it fixed. He told me to come in and talk to a manager , which I did and he told me they shouldn't of fixed it if it was bent. He could only offer me 10$ off if I wanted to get it fixed again..lol My money back would be nice. --------------------------------- UPDATE: After speaking with chelsie she replaced my screen free of charge. So had the screen changed in January here for my wife. Was a little odd to give out all the information for them to fix the screen but did it. For the last few months the phone was doing little odd things so my wife started thinking the employees messed with it. So finally a white line formed around the edges of the screen. She sent it to Apple and they refused to touch it since it was tampered with (Batteries Plus) they returned it and we took it to the store since they are the ones that broke it. Everything was good until the woman with the red hair came out and said it won't be covered under the warranty. If you want your screen fixed take it elsewhere. This is a convenient store to get those small parts (batteries, lights, chargers etc) that you don't want to have to order. I came in to order a battery for my laptop (they never have the one I need cause I have an older computer). They didn't have any in stock but called another location and allowed me to order from them over the phone and have it shipped to my house. It was easy and came the very next day!! All that was great but womp womp, it didn't fit. So I had to look up the specifications for my computer, come BACK to the store and reorder the one that would fit but now I have to wait like 5 days to get it. It would have been nice not to have to do the extra but I'm still getting my battery and it's not gonna cost me near as much as it would trying to order from the manufacturer. read more

When my phone was having a battery issue, we made an appointment. When we arrived to the appointment, I was asked to sign a waiver/release. Upon fully reading the document, there was one bullet point that is very questionable. It states that "Batteries Plus is not responsible for ANY water damage to the equipment". The problem with this statement is the word ANY. So, if someone employed by their store spills something on my phone while it is their possession, I have no recourse. Even in court, that word, ANY, means ALL liquid damage. When I asked the manager if we could amend the statement, to cover me, legally in a mishap, she refused. She then informed me that if I didn't sign, she wouldn't help me. I did not sign. My husband then asked if he could purchase the battery, and she told him no, that batteries were considered parts, and they don't sell them for iPhone...funny, though, because the guy next to me was purchasing a battery for HIS PHONE! We left the store, and I called their corporate office to ask about the waiver and to complain about the rudeness of the manager. The customer service rep said that their legal team had reviewed that waiver/release, and it would be legal and binding. I would never recommend Batteries Plus to anyone. **UPDATE** Dear Frank M. Your manager, Chelsea, was rude, refused to work with me, after I pointed out this legal issue. She refused to be civil, or to sell me a battery. Your legal team needs to recheck this. NO WHERE on that waiver for did it state that any damage occurring to my phone while in the care of the store, would be covered. I don't particularly care to be patronized, by telling me that the store would cover any damage, when your legal paperwork states otherwise! Sir, I would suggest that your employees and management team be better trained to handle customers legitimate complaints in a better manner. read more

I have used this store several times! Unfortunately they have lost my business due to their slumpy work which now caused me to not have a phone that I have to still pay for! The screws on the inside weren't properly tightened and it messed up my sensor. Now the sensor doesn't work. They didn't put in the screws in the bottom of my phone because he didn't have any in stock (which I understood since the 2 i had fell out when i dropped it). The problem is that the technician told me that the screen wont pop out and that it is secure , the screws are just extra security. So now my phone drops on its back in its case and the screen pops out. After taking it back to then and another technician explained that because it wasn't secure the sensor got damaged). I called the manager and I told her the situation and that I was willing to pay for a new screen if they can fix the sensor and she told me they wont pay to fix the sensor because she never got a request to order screws so that's not the shop's responsibility. read more
