The only useful thing they did was recommend going to this store for help. I came in, and explained to them my problem and they had me ready to go in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend going here for any purchases or any help needed. Don't waste your time with online support. Just go here.

I went in to order the new T Mobile 5G Home Internet service. The folks in the store are nice but…read morethey have to get others from T-Mobile on the phone to order the service. I understood the issues they had with verifying my credit with a credit alert I had placed with credit reporting agencies due to recent identity fraud issue. However, after several times giving them my home address, phone number, social security number, having them call me on my cellphone while already on phone with them in the store, getting transferred to different departments - I could tell we weren't getting anywhere. The guy on the phone from T-Mobile wanted the T-Mobile store to give him the number of a SIM card. I asked don't they just ship them with a SIM card. They said they are doing things manually - whatever that means. They then had to speak to someone else to get the activation..... Could not get past this point..... My wife was waiting in the car, we had lunch getting cold, and it was now an hour and a half !!!!!!!.... I gave up. Sad as we really wanted the 5G home internet service. The people in the store were nice but the company does not have customer friendly processes and procedures to simply set up an account, take payment, and ship. This should not take a rocket scientist and frustrate the hell out of those wishing to do business with them.

Our rep Alex was very knowledgeable and efficient- he made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I have seen some negative reviews of this store that are mostly old- I would not hesitate to come here, and this was a great experience for us.

I've been here several times in the past couple years to inquire about phone and internet plans…read more Looking at new phones is always fun, too..... This is your typical AT&T store: bright and spacious with phone displays along the wall (iPhones, Androids, Windows phones, etc.) and a couple center displays with the latest tablets. There is no large television display area, but they do offer U-Verse (whatever the bundles are -- I haven't looked much into it). Employees are friendly and not too pushy, with the exception of a couple of them. You have to be clear and upfront about your intentions when you speak with them. One new development with their phones that I didn't know about until a few days ago: gone are the days when you can just put down $200 for a phone with a 2-year contract. Nope. Now you have to pay full price of the phone, no matter what. Not up front, of course, but in payments over twenty to thirty months with AT&T's NEXT program. Eeek! Unless you're able to shell out the full cost of a phone up front or you opt for one of the cheaper GO phones, you're stuck with a monthly payment for the phone itself in addition to the phone usage bill. Not cool. Along with that, you can upgrade your phone only after a certain amount of time, based on the payment plan you choose. Blah. On one hand, it's nice not to plunk down $200 off the bat for the phone, but it sucks that your bill is essentially higher each month because you're paying for the phone itself too. Let's face it..... phones are getting more expensive these days. Sigh. At least this store is here. No need to drive out to Lexington for assistance. I'm a fan of the store, I suppose. Just not the phone bills.

Commission, Commission, Commission. You get the hint!!!…read more Initial experience in the store, was good. Everyone very polite, however they work on commission so they most likely will be polite and helpful. With that said! I stopped in about getting 4 lines of service and phones. Asked what I thought a simple question "How much is payment a MONTH". Of Course I knew what I was currently paying, just wanted to see other options. He gave me several different sales lines. Again "How much is payment a MONTH". Verizons Sales Agent: Finally he said $140 plus tax and wrote the number down on postie note. Phones have promotion of buy one, get one! Your first couple payments will be high because of the way the promotions for phones work. Back to Me: Wow, that's not bad. Lets do this! After and hour of transferring everything over, understandable. I have phones to trade in. Of course we take trade in. I was told I would get a $250 trade in for 3 iphones. I was finally done. I was out! 1st payment $450, 2nd $250, I called and asked when is bill going to be consistent. Verizon said there was a bunch of extra features i was enrolled on. So they took that off. 3rd $80, 4th $250. Called Verizon again. They said not sure what the sales agent offered you but he was incorrect. The cheapest plan we can get you in will be a reduction in your data plan and will be $200 a month minimum. This isn't what I was told! Verizon said the Georgetown Verizon is not an actual corporate place but and authorized retailer so we can't do anything about their false promises. Your bill will be at least $200 per month. You signed a contract. If you must deal with this authorized retailer of Verizon, make sure you get everything in writing. Down to the cent or go in with the understanding that you'll be paying at least 30% more then what they say!!!

Boost Mobile - ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE!!

Called this phone store, as the Boost Mobile store near me in Frankfort was apparently out of…read morebusiness. Wanted to avail myself of the $10-mo. phone plan that was advertised on the Boost Mobile web site. So I called the Georgetown location to inquire if my old iPhone 4s would work for that purpose. I was told that it would not, and that the oldest iPhone model compatible with the network used by the $10-mo. phone plan was the iPhone 5s After locating an iPhone 5s, I called this location again. This time, I was told that..."Gee, the 5s is too old to use on the network used by our $10-mo. plan." Sensing a pattern? I then inquired what the cheapest phone that I could buy from them would be that WOULD be compatible with the network used by their $10-mo. plan advertised on the Boost Mobile site. I was told that would be the Coolpad Legacy. (Actually not the cheapest on the web site...but in fairness, it was the cheapest that this location had in stock.). To purchase the phone and activate it on the $10-mo. plan with a new number and the first month of service included, I was quoted $110 + tax. Drove the 20+ miles to the store, and spoke with the young woman at the front desk. Confirmed that it was her I had spoken with earlier in the day and that I was there to buy the recommended Coolpad Legacy phone and have them activate it on the $10-mo. plan with a new number for the $110+tax...first month of service included. And then, I was reminded of the infamous car salesman who needs to "consult with the manager," because...no kidding...that was exactly what she did. When she got off the phone with her "manager" she said that the $110 price she quoted earlier was only if I brought in my own phone to have it activated!!! Suffice it to say, the woman minding the Boost Mobile store indicated that she could sell me the phone that in her own words was compatible with the network used by their $10-mo. plan, but that for some vague reason that was never made exactly clear to me, it COULDN'T be activated on the $10-mo. plan but...surprise, surprise...COULD be activated on one of the more expensive plans. When I asked her if her previous quote to me was a lie or simply a deceptive, bait-and-switch way to get me to drive the 20+ miles to her store, she took offense to my use of the word "lie." Personally, I can't really think of a better word for it, though. So, caveat emptor, my friends. Caveat emptor.
