Do NOT trust this store for international shipping. Their staff are either poorly trained or…read moremalicious. They filled out the form hurriedly and did NOT listen to my instructions filling it out as they saw fit. This led to NEEDLESS additional charges that only came up once the item was in their possession. UPS would only return it at a significant cost. So they screwed up and then held a family heirloom hostage. I had to pay it, but it will be a COLD DAY before they get more of my money. UPS Customer service blamed me and the store. So ultimately they refused to save a customer and it will cost them a LOT more in the long run.

The next job did not go well, they were not here on the schedule date, Did not have enough personal on the job to do the job, knocked a large hole in my wall and wanted me to pay for there mistakes. We waited till the job was completed and we owned them 1000.00 on completion and we held the repairs out of it. That's the only way we could get a 350.00 repair paid. Had a problem with air in the lines, which caused the elevator to jump and that took weeks for them to come back. We will not use them again!

I hope Kay is addressing these issues so they can treat all customers fairly with their service. Based on our experience, The Kay Jewelers at Hamburg is amazing! It's not the store or the name that made our experience a 5 star, it's the employees like Pam and Leah who really make it an awesome experience. I can't say thanks enough for all the help they provided during a situation of customer satisfaction with jewelry that was purchased. Pam and Leah were focused on the customer as their number one goal. I know that store suffered an untimely death of a manager and these two have really picked up the slack And maintained the professional and compassionate attitudes. Stopped by this location yesterday after work to get a few links taken out of my new watch my wife…read moregot me for my birthday. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by both of the employees working and asked if they could help me with anything. I explained what I needed done and the gentleman gave me a price and I agreed to pay it. He took my watch and went straight to work on it. The whole time he was working him and the lady working both carried conversation with me and both actually complemented my watch and was shocked at the price we got it for lol. Anyways, it only took him like 10 minutes (after I'd spent 2 hours trying to figure it out myself lol) and came and placed it on my wrist to make sure I was happy and didn't need it smaller or one of the two links put back in but it fit perfectly!! After taking care of the payment him and I continued to talk for another 10-15 minutes easy about watches and so on. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the fit and made sure they couldn't help me with anything else. So of course being the watch junkie I am fell in love with a couple time pieces they had and we came to an agreement on the price and I'm actually stopping back by to pick up at least one of them today!!! But enough rambling on here lol, I will say it did feel more like an upper class type of store with very expensive items but the service was fantastic and didn't look down on my $300 dollar watch or nothing.
