    They suck EVERY TIME it rains my internet service should not go out!!! It's so ridiculous and they never have an answer for it!

    AT&T is awful. I had AT&T for several years, but in recent years, they could not keep my Internet…read moreworking. They would schedule a time for a tech to appear, then not show up. Most annoying, AT&T's so-called "Virtual Assistant" schedules stuff and dialogs with customers, but it's an outright liar. I waited for a tech one day during the 8 - 12 window Virtual Assistant gave me. Virtual Assistant kept texting me "we're late but we're on the way" for over FOUR HOURS. When it was obvious the tech did not show up, I texted "When are you coming?" Virtual Assistant answered, "We can help you with that." The next day, Virtual Assistant texted "Your repair is complete." I replied, "I don't believe you." Virtual Assistant replied (again) "We can help you with that." Total incompetence. I switched to Spectrum. After I terminated AT&T, they emailed me a "How did we do?" inquiry. I answered it, and a couple of weeks later I received the same inquiry. AT&T's downfall is its stupid automated communications. The nice thing about Spectrum is that they have live people there to answer the phone and their answers are helpful.

They want the modem returned which I would be glad to do but NOT a possible and according to then I am NOT to remove it and my landlord says it will not be removed. I ask who is going to pay for damages if my landlord charges me. So eighter way I am getting charged for something I can't control. They refused to have their tech come out and remove since he should have never attached to the wall in the first place according to AT&T. I have included pictures and their policy?

    The "promotional period" expired on my Spectrum internet service & my bill increased. Of course,…read morenot pleased, yet this is common, I called them about it. I'm amazed on how they do not care about it or me as a customer. I initially spoke with customer service at 855.860.9068, & they were kind. Yet, didn't really care if I was dissatisfied & didn't want to negotiate with me saying I was going to leave. She was very pleasant, though not very concerned that I was going to leave. In a last ditch effort, I tried calling the "Retention" Department, & found the ph # 833.267.6094 via google. I did this because it is a pain to switch providers & hoped to have some empathy & to work something out. The rep, whom said she was a billing expert, was somewhat short, though also pleasant in telling me that Spectrum did away with the retention department in 2024. I said that I wasn't pleased, & that I was considering to leave, & she said "you do what you have to do...". All this to say is Spectrum doesn't seem to care for retaining customers. There's so much competition & offerings of better rates (though they all do the "promotional period" shuffle. I not satisfied with this at all. I believe customers should come first, but in my interactions described here I felt as if Spectrum has given its reps autonomy in responding to customers in a way that's not very empathetic. It's like "take it or leave it" attitude. Well, I'm definitely switching from Spectrum. I hope they have a mature marketing department with a solid social listening discipline, & they catch complaints like this. Customers should be valued & accommodated.

    Tried the 30 day trial period with Spectrum Internet. Didn't like it and returned equipment on 25th…read moreday. Called and cancelled service as well. Later got billed for $50 and received notices. Called Spectrum and was confirmed that indeed the rep who took order cancellation did not post a credit on account thus $50 outstanding bill. I spent 45 on one call trying to clear. Billing rep came back from wait and then hung up (I could hear him when music stopped). No one bothered to call me back as they know hire to reach me. Called back again and spent another 24 min to request credit to even bill. Am told to look for clearing of account in 4-5 business days. Issue # 97289616 in case anyone from Charter wanted to "take care of me". Overall, ridiculous experience. Lots of time wasted. Not worth a "free trial" as it clearly is not free since I spent more than 2 hours of my time on phone calls. Stay away. It is not carefree trial.

So I called the AT&T customer service line and was told that EarthLink was the best for our area. So I made sure I asked the customer service representative if I was going to get charged any additional charges other than the $59.95. I was informed no that I was not. Well, after I got instalation, I was charged $68.97 for my first month bill. So I was upset because these are the questions I asked the sales rep, and the sales representative lied!!!! So if you go with earthlink, you will be charged $$ instalation fee, then 24 hours AFTER instalation you will be charged your first month's bill) Also if you use a Gmail account for Your account you won't be able to look at your bill on line nor will they be able to help set up your online account.

Had to waste time to remove those services, no refund was issued. They increased prices as they please and do not prorate final bill. Did I mention terrible customer service? You cannot change a password on their network despite their assertion that you can. It is technically complicated and nothing changes even if you complete those steps. They just send you random instructions over a chat box, which do not match the reality
