First off, I would like to say that when their services (WiFi, TV) work they work great. Now for 'the rub', over the last week I have lost all of my services several times, not just my house but the entire area. It is not just for a while but hours at a time. Very unreliable to say the least. Next the price, my monthly Spectrum bill is about the same or more as my monthly PG&E bill. I do not have a ton of extra channels, just WiFi and TV. I do not have any solar panels or anything like that. People gripe about their PG&E bills all of the time, I need a solar panel for my cable box. And last, if you ever have to bring any hardware back to one of their stores you can plan on being there all day, bring the kids and have a picnic. read more

If it wasn't for low cost senior cell phone service, I would drop Spectrum Mobile in a "New York minute"!!!!!!!!!! I have been trying to get even basic customer service while trying to buy a new phone on an existing service that I have with them. The final "straw" is their promise to call me when they got the phone I wanted, but that they would have it by today. I may go back to "T Mobile" tomorrow and do business with them! How can we even function Spectrum! Ever since you came in to my life, I feel like I'm doomed. Internet is always dropping and this past week, it went down for more than 3hrs twice. I work at home, so this affects me badly. Spectrum is super unreliable and I would not recommend it. It's hard choosing where to get your internet from because there's not a lot of competitors in Bakersfield, so you're pretty much doomed whether you go or stay. We don't have a choice so I guess for now we will deal w the nuisance that spectrum puts us through on a daily. You're a company that knows about the internet but can't seem to keep it together in that area of expertise. Any time your service goes down, you should be offering discounts or lower bills because you're delaying us from functioning with our work and everyday life. I wonder if we can do a petition because there's no accountability on spectrums side. PS your reps from customer service doesn't even know how to function too. Maybe training them during your "no internet" days would be great. read more

I've been here for 10 years, why he needed that I didn't understand, but he needed it so I gave him it. Then when we were finished, he scheduled the installation, and said they should be by in 2 days. But they showed up at my old address. I don't know who lives there and they don't know me. It took me 2 days of calls and 4 trips to your store, and changed modem and router 3 times before I finally got it straightened out, only to find out I being charged Twice what I was told I would be charged. I came to the store at 3 pm and by 7 :30 my phone activation was not ready . They couldn't transfer my data to the new phone. They tried to do many times . they told me that the IOS was not installing. Then they tried to install the IOS 17 . I the end it required more time. I told them that I do not want anything. My experience was excellent. I had tried a number of times to get my new SIM card activated without results. I went to the Gosford Spectrum store and Ramoldo was my support person. He was great. He spent well over an hour getting my SIM card activated. He was so calm and patient talking to the AT&T people setting everything up properly. This is what excellence in service is all about. Watch out, what they say is not true. They never told us about a hidden Fee, don't believe their advertisement. We added a Flip Phone to our account so we could get the $29.00 unlimited plan for all our phones. They did not tell us that there was a $52.00 charge added for the first month. Instead of being $165.00 a month like they told us it was $219.00. We did not plan that in our budget again because we were not told. Tell them to show you and get it in writing. read more

Another reason why Spectrum is the worst company for tv/internet services: I have Spectrum services in 2 different homes, and pony upwards of $300 a month for them. I am moving out of state in 2 weeks and new location has no Spectrum so I requested to cancel service in only one of my homes. They refuse to allow me a partial month so that my disconnect date coincides with my move, either pay for a full month (for 10 days of service) or they'll disconnect my services 10 days before I move. I have never been late on a payment. I give this company over $3000 a year. This is how they show appreciation to their loyal customers. Now they lost my business in both homes, and I am glad I will not be doing business with them ever again. Give AT&T a call, they'll certainly treat you better. read more

This location SUCKS. when I tried getting a new phone, they never had it in stock so I had to go to one on the north side of town. And the customer service I got on the north side was great! But recently I went with my husband to the location on gosford and customer service SUCKED!!!! The way the guy talked to my husband and the way he looked at him cause my husband told him he wanted the pixel. Hubby decided not to buy from him and didn't switch from Verizon to spectrum cause of that guy! I don't blame him! Don't go here. Go to a different location. The drive will be worth it. read more

Forget this place it's a scam you buy the phone and the plan then they create a pin so you can't change service w another company cause they know how bad they're service is I mean no internet no nothing for $55 and they never figured out why the internet wasn't working or gave me there pin to unlock my phone cause they want to keep you trapped with there bull crap plan nope I'm good crickets cheaper and way better service read more
