He was dismissive, rude and made her feel very bad. He didn't see any commission so he wasn't going to 'waste' his time.

She told me to take an original death certificate to an "Authorized Company Store" so it could be scanned in. The closest one is 40 miles away. I get there and they try to do the same thing! Then they realize I am not a Verizon customer, that is why the system does not see my number. HOW STUPID!!! After that, they did not scan in the death certificate because there was "outstanding equipment." Why didn't the call service rep tell me this? I had explained that my brother was totally digital with his bills, and he left no passwords for me to access his computer. It is bad enough dealing with an unexpected death, but to be given the runaround like this is unacceptable.

Plus as a freelance music journalist/photographer, I like having a phone with a good camera. It comes in handy when shooting shows (I often switch from my professional camera to my phone to grab candids of musicians). The 18 camera is impeccable. I like coming to this store for any phone related needs. Just like all locations they are busy but if you don't have an appointment, they still get to you rather quickly. TRADE IN SCAM I did their promotion where they took my old…read morephone and supposedly gave me $1,000 toward a new iPhone, with the catch that I'd be in a 36-month contract. I agreed, thinking the trade-in value would truly cover the cost of the new phone over the term. What they didn't make clear is that if I leave early, I still owe around $700 on the phone, even though they already took my old phone as part of the deal. So AT&T has my old device and still expects me to pay hundreds of dollars if I want to get out of the contract before the 36 months are up. This feels incredibly misleading and unfair. Had I known I'd basically be trapped in a 3-year commitment with a huge bill to escape, I never would have agreed to this promo in the first place. AT&T's promo sounded great on the surface, but the reality is it's a long-term trap. I feel like I lost my old phone and my flexibility as a customer. I will not be doing business with AT&T again after this, and I strongly recommend that anyone considering their trade-in "deals" read the fine print very carefully and think twice.

I'd called Apple to help with diagnosis and there were two internal parts that apparently were "failing" for some reason. I reached back out to CPR and they told me to bring it back so they could look, and they confirmed the same that a couple parts were failing. They told me that because it had only been a year they'd be able to re-replace the screen under the warranty. I agreed and they had it fixed within about 24 hours and working fine. No issues, glad they took initiative to make right the issue.

However, I was very disappointed with my final billing experience. I am permanently relocating out of the country to an area where Spectrum does not provide service, and I canceled my account with 16 days remaining in my billing cycle. Despite no longer being able to use the service, I was charged for the entire month with no prorated adjustment. What made this especially frustrating is that Spectrum indicated the account could have been transferred to the new homeowners if they chose to activate service, yet there was still no flexibility regarding the final bill. I understand companies have policies, but charging customers for weeks of service they cannot use leaves a poor final impression. It's unfortunate because the quality of the service itself deserved a higher rating.
