I initially brought mom to see Dr. Bovy who is wheelchair bound. Dr. Bovy and his staff were so professional and patient with us as I also had my 3year old son! The office is beautiful, homey and clean. We had such a good experience that I made an appointment for myself. Even with my appointment, Dr. Bovy was very thorough and I never felt rushed. The CUTEST optometrist office & sweetest staff ever. I was hesitant to switch since I had been with my previous optometrist for 10+ years but I'm so glad I did. I was greeted by Dr. K's sweet dog & managed to do a whole eye exam & pick out a cute new pair of glasses (with the help of Dr. K & her assistant of course) all within an hour- I literally went to my appointment on my lunch break. They were so helpful & informative and made me feel so comfortable about the entire process. Wow! I just picked up my glasses today and let me say that this has been my best experience with an optometrist, by far! The office has up-to-date and modern equipment which is a big upgrade for me. Dr. K was great! She answered all of my questions and took her time with finding my new vision prescription. She also gave me samples of eye drops for my dry eye and so far these have helped a lot. The entire staff was very kind. The tech that helped room me was very thorough while completing all of my intake. The office is clean and modern. I was having a hard time choosing new frames but Dr. K helped me and found the exact frame shape that I like which is a plus. I ended up going with a frame from the State collection that they offer and I really liked that the end of these frames have a "weight" to counterbalance the front of the frame & prevent the frames from slipping down my face which was a problem with my previous glasses. The turn around time for my glasses was 1 week exactly which I think is really quick compared to my previous experiences and they handed me my glasses in a cute gift bag with a free lens cleaning spray. I could go on but I'm just glad I found Spectacle Optometry! read more

I should have written this review long ago! I moved to CA from GA in September. In record time the move from a very wet to an incredibly dry climate resulted in a corneal abrasion within my first week! I was new in town so just called around until I found this place. What a find! Dr. Courtney was personable, knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, etc... I got the diagnosis and medication I needed during that first visit. I went back a second time a week later for an eye exam and bought three pairs of glasses based on our conversation -- computer, everyday eyeglasses, and sunglasses. Loved my purchases, and the service, so much that I went back a few weeks later and got another pair of eyeglasses. WE LOVE EVERYONE AT SPECTACLE OPTOMETRY! Dr. K and Dr. Bovy are so wonderful with our kiddos. Both Kids have slightly weak reading vision and needed that addressed for school. They are super inquisitive kids and Dr. Bovy answered all of their questions in a way that they understood and made them comfortable. The staff was wearing masks and very conscientious about cleaning all the equipment I used. They help me with contact lenses, suggesting a rebate; updated my glasses and helped me to pick out new very cute frame. Also they were having a sunglass sales and I picked out some sunglasses to protect me from the sun. The gave me eye drop samples, contact samples and containers of eye glass cleaners. Dr. K and her staff have been amazing! They have helped all four of our family members with the perfect glasses/contacts/eye health. They are VERY Covid safe and I feel completely comfortable taking my kids there. We were able to get appointments when we needed to fit our busy schedules which was a plus for us.
