Horrible customer service. I was looking for a new doctor & I was inclined to choosing this one since I read that the doctor is great. However, when I called to make an appointment, the front desk was extremely rude. Didn't even bother to make the appointment, I opted for Zone 2 optometry in Anaheim and the front staff and doctor were amazing and welcoming. I came here couple days ago to get a new prescription for my eyes to get new glasses since I broke mine a while ago, I called in expecting to get an appointment in at least 2 weeks like other places do, but I was surprised that they found an appointment 2 days after the call! I came in filled up the paperwork it took me only 5-10 minutes and another 10-15 minutes to finish all the tests and pick my frame, they were really really nice and friendly specially doctor Natalie and the receptionists that made my visit so much better and faster! The optometrist herself was great , super nice, friendly, and she explained everything really well. Honestly, she deserves five stars. But the front staff completely ruined the experience. After my appointment, they ordered my contacts and never followed up and not even once. A whole month went by with no call or update. When I finally called, the doctor answered and told me there had been a problem with my order because apparently the wrong prescription was sent and she said her staff would reach out to fix it. No one ever called me back. When I called again, the girl who answered sounded annoyed, like she didn't want to be bothered. She said she'd contact the supplier and promised to call me back and also said she'd give me some trial contacts since I was running out. Two weeks went by, still nothing. I called again, and another lady answered with the same rude, careless attitude. She said they hadn't heard back and might just cancel the order. When I finally got a call saying my contacts were ready, I asked if I could look at glasses too since mine got scratched on a trip. They said it was fine to come in without an appointment. But when I showed up, the same bad attitude continued. The woman at the front barely said hello, handed me my contacts without a smile or goodbye, and walked away. I started browsing glasses on my own, and when she saw me again, she asked, Do you need anything? but it was clear she wasn't interested in helping and asked for my prescription. The doctor is amazing, but the front staff is rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. It's really disappointing because this place has good reviews, but I can see I'm not the only one who's had this kind of experience. I won't be coming back. read more

When I entered today, the receptionist with red hair was unwelcoming and unprofessional. She had her AirPod in while attending me and was on call with someone else -possibly her significant other- because it was not regarding work while looking for my file. Dr. Duong is the best optometrist Ive ever met. She was thorough, knowledgeable and so easy-going/ fun to talk to. She even took the time to educate me on eye health and answered all of my questions. When you drop straight cash on frames and lenses Marlene gots you I got my glasses 8 business days later, the other staff member idk her name I feel is just trying to make commission and has no interest in helping others. They don't have any variety for small faced individuals but if you like the new obnoxious frames that are in style right now definitely go to this place. And if you have medical and are not able to drop no money for high index or anti reflection for horrible vision good luck it's been a whole month and my glasses are still in process. I came to Dr. Duong because she was the closest to my home with the best reviews that took my insurance. I love my old optometrist but the office was too out of the way for me and I needed an eye appointment so I could get contacts ASAP. The girl on the phone was very nice and professional and tried to fit me in around my schedule/what was available. My experience with the staff have only been great. They're very sweet and try to help you as best and only offer the best customer service. Dr. Duong is very knowledgeable and thorough on her exam. She treats her patients like it's their first eye and contact exam ever, which I loved! I've worn contacts for 15 years but she taught me things that some new things that none of the other eye doctors I've seen over the years took the time to tell me, and I've literally seen probably 10+ different doctors in different states and countries. I tried out a new brand of contacts which didn't work out for me so the doctor let me tried another brand before I ordered them just to make sure they were comfortable. I really appreciate Dr. Duong and her office staff. My son broke his only eyeglasses during basketball practice. We brought it to Dr. Natalie's office and right away, they checked to see if it is still under warranty and looked for a replacement. Because they no longer carry the exact same model, they called the Nike rep to check to see if they still have that model. Luckily, they do and the rep would be able to bring it in tomorrow. Dr Duong is great! Very friendly and informative. However, I'm upset that my glasses took a while to come in. When I was picking out a frame Adele miss to inform me that the glasses I pick where small. It wasn't until I went to pick them up the glasses I realized they were too small for me. Thankfully Marlene and Iris helped me out and where able to fix that for me. One star for the doctor another one for the service (Marlene and Iris) and even though I'm upset I'm glad that the problem was fixed so another star for that. By far one of the best optometrist, I have been wearing glasses since i was 5! They are super nice and take their time. Dr. Shigekuni has been checking my eyeballs for over 15 yrs and I have never encountered an issue.
