    Pasta special
    Karla G.

My husband and toddler just finished dinner here and we had a great experience! We come to Petaluma regularly but hadn't sat down at this place, so I'm glad we gave it a try. My toddler got the pesto pasta, husband had the lobster Mac and cheese and I got their pasta special. All dishes were packed with flavor and devoured. The people working here were all friendly and checked in several times, which we appreciated. We will definitely be back for the outside patio, food and service.

The squash soup was incredible and the lobster mac n cheese. Not ce ambiance, the waiter was attentive. Really good!

I chose two tacos w/ roasted sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts; one w/ grilled salmon.

Cozy. Indoor seating: 11 at small 4-top tables, and 5 tall chairs at the high counter. You can hear kitchen noises over the 1960s rock music in the corner speaker (Monkees' I'm a Believer; Mamas & Papas' CA Dreaming). Outdoor seating. For the restroom, you go outside and across the way to the back of the Big Easy venue; it's dimly-lit until around 6-630pm when it opens for the eve performance. Tacos were tasty. Other menu items included a seafood pasta special and salads. You can also order from here for The Big Easy later--just not online the day of the performance.

These guys are amazing! Got there at the last minute before closing in a Wednesday and they left the door open for me and got me a pretty amazing steak and beer to boot. Thank you!

Restaurant tab showing total, but they charged my card MORE

One star for the food, not that it was bad but the way that they handle business overweigh their food. I came here for Sunday brunch after a long morning of kayaking and I thought everything was fine. I always take pictures of my receipts for this specific reason, and I don't make it a habit to tip waitstaff on my card because what they do with their tips and the IRS is none of my business. I went ahead and left them a cash tip and wrote "cash" on the tip line, when I got home, I checked my account and noticed that I was charged $4 more than what my receipt showed. I contacted them Tuesday afternoon and was told that a manager would be calling the following day. I called back Wednesday around 4:30 because I hadnt received a call and was told by the manager (Victoria I believe she said), that she saw my note from the previous day and the only way to give me the difference would be if I went in and picked up cash from them. Well, I dont live in Petaluma so that wasnt an option. I told her I would just dispute it with my bank and since they were acknowledging what happened there should be no reason for them to try to fight it. She agreed. She mentioned that she was going to talk to "the girls" to make sure it doesnt happen again, huh?? So they're in the business of just adding additional tips on cards? This place wont be getting any business from me. If you decide to check them out please check your accounts afterwards.

My partner and I came in on Sunday around 11am! The first red flag should have been that it was completely empty and we spent around 1 hour there and only one other couple came in during that time. We were on our way to a restaurant around the corner but the wait time was about 1 hour and we saw a sign saying the speakeasy had brunch. This place was smaller than expected but I love the outside seating area. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The hot chocolate tasted like water The chicken and waffles was not good at all. In the picture you can see just about how much I ate, I ended getting food somewhere else after. The waffles literally fell apart in pieces when I picked it up. The chicken was similar to the chicken you get in the prepackaged Caesar salads. I tried my partners dish and it was bland and honestly just not good either. He did finish his dish because he was very hungry. I will not be back, this place has good reviews and I'm just very confused. I think maybe this place might have good dinner but please DO NOT stop here for brunch.

Had such a lovely brunch at speakeasy and would highly recommend it! Very delicious and affordable for a downtown petaluma spot. Staff is always great and their food is consistently good day or night. Their outdoor area is dog friendly and the atmosphere overall is welcoming and cozy. A great downtown gem on all levels! Also don't forget that they're literally one of the only places in town that stays open past 9:00 on weekdays if you're looking for food in the later hours as well.

Taco trio -- sweet potato and Brussels sprouts, fried plantain, and short rib

I've walked past so many times and thought, "what a cute patio." Finally took the opportunity to sit there and order brunch/lunch. They serve brunch all day on Saturday and Sunday. My husband got biscuits and gravy, which he said was amazing. I tried the pork gravy -- really tasty. I opted for the taco trio based on other Yelp reviews. My favorite was the coconut crusted plantain. I've had lots of brussels sprout tacos at a few other places, and these are "healthier" -- which could be good or bad, depending on what' you're looking for. Short rib was really yummy but could have used some more crunchy slaw to set off the juicy texture.

    Vegan Taco trio to go!
    Parker S.

Good little spot! This is a place we come back to, always for the vegan tacos! Small little seating area inside and outside. They have a NA beer too! I always get the vegan tacos, they offer 3 - maybe 4 that can be made vegan. And I can never remember which one was my fave, so I always end up ordering one of each - every time. They're all good, really. And teen was happy with the wings. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Great vibe and friendly staff. Tasty food, though portions are a bit small for the price.

The sound was terrible though, the sound guy needs help or ought to pay attention to his job (even the musicians on stage were like hey roger please fix the sound... lol). Also, cheap brand of speakers, and lighting was bad too. I do like the layout of the place though, bar in the back, stage in the front, booth seating along the walls on both sides, tables in the middle, a bit of space near the stage to be used as a dance floor. A lovely atmosphere altogether. Drinks were pretty good too, the voodoo mojo and emotional vampire had a decent amount of alcohol and flavor.

Seemed to have a chill vibe with indoor and outdoor seating...plus they were open. The food was incredible. We started with wings, then went on to the foghorn pizza (think that's the name of it). Our waiter, Arthur then asked if we wanted dessert. We were stuffed but everything was amazing up to that point, so we opted for carrot cake. It was the right decision. Looking for a reason to get back to Petaluma so I can visit again. Next time I'll try to take photos before eating...it was so good I had to stop mid-bite so I could share on yelp.

Definitely on point for the Wild Goat bistro so thoroughly enjoyed that. The seats were super comfy because there was leather bench seating that had a nice cushion. The service was ok, but I feel like it would've been nicer to have my kid's pizza come out first before our appetizers since toddlers tend to get restless quickly and the coloring pages only distract them for a short while. Usually servers prioritize kids meals, but the waitress missed the mark. Drinks were so yummy: definitely try the ginger lemonade or the pineapple mint tonic! So good!! Unfortunately I can't rave too much about the food. We weren't too hungry so we thought we would just try a bunch of appetizers. * We ordered the Hot n Bubbly (artichoke dip) which we were half expecting to be made with some sort of white cheese, it tasted like they used cheddar cheese and it was not pleasant, because it came off as more of a nacho cheese flavor. * Then we tried T's wings (lemon pepper chicken wings) and were sadly disappointed again. There was no lemon flavor whatsoever and the ranch was on the watery side. My sister said it was spicy, but I didn't even taste the spice or any flavor from it so I'm not sure. * The third strike was when we got the salad. I didn't even take a picture because it tasted so basic. We asked for them to sub the blue cheese dressing with a fig vinaigrette, but there was no flavor whatsoever. I probably won't come back because I wasn't a huge fan. The prices were not worth it, in my opinion.
