    The guacamole
    Julia C.

Great spot for a meal or happy hour or even a date. Chips come out quickly as the service is and are plentiful and there is a mild salsa option for kids. The menu has many options and my kids ate really well. The guacamole appetizer is beautiful (see picture) and my daughter almost ate all of it.

This place has delicious food and a huge menu. We loved the wet chicken burrito and they served it already cut in half since we were sharing. I like the option of whole wheat tortillas and whole beans. Service was outstanding

    Food was killer!!

The atmosphere is so cute and fun, I loved all the plants on the outdoor seating area. We went when they first opened at 11am and got a taco salad and the beef tacos. The food was perfect . The staff was super helpful and friendly. We also got a Moscow mule and house margarita, both were great! It's a teeny bit expensive but honestly worth it. Will totally go back soon.

Taco Salad with meat, Chimichanga with beans and rice.

The Taco salad w/meat (18.75) was good and the chimichanga (21.75) got a thumbs up. 3.85% discount if you pay with cash. Outside dining is a very enjoyable casual ambiance. Service is prompt and with a smile.

Came here for Taco Tuesdays! Additionally, they have happy hour menu as well. No salsa bar here, but excellent service and they serve fresh chips and salsa. Tacos were spot on. They don't have any grilled peppers, turnips or grilled onions with it. The meat was a bit on the dry side. Quesadilla was also on the dry side, but they provided guacamole with it at least. Food is standard. Above average service.

Deluxe nachos with carnitas & a chicken quesadilla Also in the background was the house margarita. All on hapoy hour prices!

We came in time for their happy hour menu. The house margaritas were perfect! We ordered the nachos with carnitas and a chicken quesadilla. Both had a perfect amount of meat with tasty guacamole. We loved the salsa that came with the chips when we first sat down. It was nice and spicy.

Great food great service seated quickly and food was served quickly. We got to sit outside and eat under the tent didn't feel hot at all on a sunny day. Grabbed a mezcalita and Quesabirrias as well as a sope, everything was delicious.

Goodness delicious. Their albondingas soup was so flavorful and lots of tasty meatballs were included. The burritos were stuffed and quite the large portion. Ingredients were fresh and service was fantastic. We stopped here on the way back from Clear Lake. The ratings from Yelp did not disappoint. I need to go back soon

3.5% fee on top of menu prices for using a card. Tip computed off post-sales tax cash total.

Great location, good food, okay service. We've been to this location dozens of times since moving to Petaluma and have always enjoyed it. Their meats (for tacos, burritos, etc) are excellent. For sit-down Mexican food, the prices are reasonable, but there are better and cheaper options in town if you don't mind eating outdoors or in your car. The location, of course, is quite central to downtown and easy walking distance from most places. Parking can be tricky, especially during peak times, but we always go straight to the Keller St Garage and just walk a couple blocks - it's much easier than stressing out looking for a spot on Kentucky. Service has traditionally been pretty great but on our most recent trip, it was pretty average - long wait to get our order taken, asking for things (salsa, chips, etc) multiple times, etc. The restaurant was maybe 25% full when we dined so who knows. The kicker is that there is now a 3.5% fee to use a credit card. I'm sure it mentions this somewhere on the menu (we didn't see it and didn't look for it because it's never been a thing before), but the prices on the menu are the CASH prices. Unfortunately, I feel that's quite deceptive. Other restaurants will offer a cash discount but the price shown is the price paid for all other forms of payments. To top it off, the recommended tips printed at the bottom of the receipt are calculated post-sales tax so be aware of that if you use it as a guide to calculate your tip. I love supporting our smaller Sonoma County chains, but pricing transparency is extremely important to me. With other options in town that have better food, are cheaper, have better service, and that don't charge junk fees on top of their menu prices, I think it'll be a while before we visit again.

Chimichanguitas appetizer with chicken! So good! Chimichanguitas

I ordered the Chimichangas pollo appetizer via DoorDash for the second time. They are so good!!! Super fresh, well packaged, and I love the condiments they come with I.e., guacamole, sour cream, fresh tomatoes, and lettuce! Great for a meal or an appetizer to share! Yum!

Talk about happy tastebuds. Our main dish was a beautiful salmon fillet prepared perfectly with just a hint of lemon rubbed on, and presented on a bed of shelled brussel sprouts lightly roasted. The coup de gras was the dessert: a slice of peanut butter and a flourless chocolate cake. Luis recommended a sangiovese for my wife and she enjoyed it immensely. This restaurant I would proudly recommend to all my friends. I would have rated it higher than a five if I could have.

Definitely not a welcoming place ONLY because of the staff. People there were very cool to me and my friend, but as a female, the female staff were the absolute rudest possible. What an awful attitude and experience. Wow. I even had the real "pleasure" to talk to a couple girls that were there but off that night (employed there, sadly). Their pretentious attitudes wouldn't make it anywhere with any class... but apparently they get away with discrimination just fine. Outright discrimination and bullying. I won't describe here why, but ladies... if people there talk to you... they won't like you, because you take from their tips?! Apparently. The female bartenders I met are horrendous bullies. They seem like they never got out of high school. I literally cried there. Yea, not cool as a grown woman. Shame on them. So my kind message to them... if you want better for your lives and are THAT miserable to treat a human being or any life that way, DO better. Just do better for yourselves, and for the sake of others.

Our server was incredibly friendly, and the entire room shared the same warm, easygoing vibe. The small, speakeasy themed space was already packed at 5 PM, so reservations seem like a must. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and delicious, but the standout dishes were the beet salad and the shrimp & grits. The beet salad had a perfect mix of textures; chopped pistachios, tender beets, and crunchy radishes over a pillowy ricotta. I finished the salad wishing there was more. The shrimp & grits featured a potlikker sauce that absolutely lived up to the hype; it made the dish. I wish the shrimp & grits were served in a bowl rather than a shallow dish. I found myself chasing the sauce and polenta around the plate, trying not to push it over the edge. That said, if it were in a bowl, I might have just drank the sauce, so perhaps this is the restaurant's way of preserving a bit of dignity for its guests. Next time, I'm hoping to visit when oyster po' boys and fried green tomatoes are on the menu.

The vibe is effortlessly chill, with whimsical decor--think antique lamps, an old record player, and lots of little details that make you want to look around. The whole place felt alive in the best way--buzzing with conversation, laughter, and people clearly having a great time. We didn't have a reservation, but lucked out with seats at the community table. Bonus: the other guests were super welcoming, which just added to the fun, communal feel. We hit happy hour, and wow--it's a good one. Tons of interesting bites and a solid drink lineup. I went with a whiskey sour, my friend had the ginger beer on draft (very refreshing), and we shared the prawns, Brussels sprouts, and creamy mac & cheese. Everything was seriously delicious. Shoutout to our server, Melanie--friendly, attentive, and totally on it, even with the place packed. A couple things to note: it does get loud, so maybe not your spot if you're after a quiet, intimate dinner. Also, the happy hour menu listed Brussels sprouts but didn't mention bacon--I'm vegetarian, so that was a bit of a surprise. (It is noted on the regular dinner menu, which I admittedly didn't check.) All in all, such a fun, lively spot. I'll definitely be back for more bites and cocktails.
