Troy and Gary have always taken care of my motorcycles. This is my 4th motorcycle they have started to help me maintain. They got me a great price on tires and I had them install them. I am very appreciative of the recommendation on the tires. Felt more confident on the ride home. Time to have fun this weekend. If you are in the area, and you need service. I strongly recommend them!

I have been taking my motorcycles here for over 3 years and highly recommend this place. They do great work at reasonable prices.

I bought a used FJR 1300 and it came with no service records. I brought it here and asked for a complete 16K service plus new Metzler tires. The price was very fair and the service was fast and professional. I am so happy with my new tires and my 90 degree valve stems! These guys are great and so knowledgeable. I give them my highest recommendation.

Done in time for my vacay! Thanks guys

I've been having electrical issues since I've added custom lights to my M50. I've had three different people work on it and brought it to two other shops- one of whom was too scared to work on my bike... Never got it re-wired properly. I live in Tahoe but have family in Vacaville. When I found Moto Tec on Yelp, I decided to give them a try since they had great reviews. I had spoken with Troy over the phone in depth about the electrical issues, clutch problems and welding needs. He kept me updated the whole time my bike was at the shop. I actually needed it back for a week-long ride I had coming up and he had it all done in time. A few things I noticed that stood out over the rest of the shops: He's super confident in himself -as he should be- it shows in his work. He's really knowledgable in what he does. Also, when dealing with him over the phone, he spoke to me like a normal person. This may not seem like a big thing but most of the shops I've gone in tend to speak to me like a clueless child because I have make up on, my nails done and high heels on- or primarily just because I'm a girl. Mind you, I change the oil on my bike, have replaced all the cosmetic parts myself and pretty much work on my bike for all non-major issues. (Women may only relate to this but felt it was a nice difference that need to be noted) Though I live in Tahoe, the few hours ride is worth bringing my bike to Moto Tec. Don't waste your time elsewhere.

The entire experience was a disaster, characterized by zero communication, complete disregard for customer service, and blatant unprofessionalism. When I first met Lou, he seemed friendly, but then I was hit with a cloud of marijuana smoke following him out of his office. Fine, I don't judge, but it's hard to trust someone who can't stay sober enough to run a business. When my boat trailer was towed to GT Boats, Lou had promised to move my boat and trailer to the back of the shop within 30 minutes and find a place for it. I left it in his hands and awaited for his update. However after a few days with no updates, no returned calls, and no communication whatsoever, I got suspicious. I stopped by at 6 a.m. to find my boat still sitting on the street--4 days later. I immediately called Lou from my cell phone, but it went straight to voicemail. When I called from my work phone, he picked up right away. I asked why I hadn't received any updates and why my boat was still on the street. He gave me the excuse that he was still looking for parts and claimed he'd move my boat at once. I told him I was worried about my gear being stolen, and he assured me not to worry. At that point, I realized I couldn't trust this guy to do the work he promised. Three days later, my boat was still sitting on the street 1 full week after dropping it off, so I called a tow company to take it away. Lou's either scamming people or too busy getting high to actually run a business. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
