I came here because I was having a vibration after another shop put a lift on my LX470. I couldn't find time to make it back to that shop because it was out of the area. I stopped by here and the owner/manager agreed to look at my truck without an appointment. He took it on a test drive, came back, jacked it up, and inspected everything. He told me the CV axles weren't right and I needed to replace them. He said the inspection was free of charge and to let him know if I wanted them to get the work done. I bought OEM axles and did the work myself in my garage. I called and gave him the updat because the OEM stuff solved the problem. That is a prime example of customer service. I am so pleased with Shawn and the Chop Shop. I spent quite a bit of time researching shops to install a lift kit and new wheels and tires, and ultimately found the Chop Shop. It was well worth the drive from Sacramento. Shawn was very helpful in guiding me to the right lift kit and wheels/tires. He installed the BDS 4" lift kit with 35" tires and new wheels. I was a little concerned that my air suspension ride would change, but it actually rides better than before. The installation was done to perfection. He's one of the few authorized BDS suspension installers in Northern California. The price was surprisingly reasonable too. I plan to go back to the Chop Shop for additional customizations, starting with a behind the bumper winch and light bar. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop for your 4WD needs. read more

A little over a year ago I purchased 4 Rough Country shocks for 2019 Chevy Colorado, not only did it take a couple of months to get the right rear shocks but I just found out that they did not replace the rear shocks, OEM's are still in place. These guys do some amazing work on the vehicles I've seen go through their shop.. I started going awhile back. When I was looking for a shop to install some parks. These guys have installed a few suspesion lift kits on 4runners in the past. The install went smooth and shorty after I when back with Arb lockers and an air kit. I've returned to the chop shop a few times more since then. The guys know there stuff when it comes to Jeeps along with other 4x4 vehicles. Great customer service! I told Cesar I would have my YJ towed in by AAA. On the day they came, the driver said he wouldn't be able to tow it because it was lifted and modified. Called Cesar and let him know what happened. He said his trailer was a couple of hours away, so he went and got it, stopped by my house to pick up my Jeep and took it to the shop.
