I always shop at the summit. Every time when I pass by their store, I thought it must be a very pricey place to do facial or massage..so I never tried it out..until one day I checked out their website and decided to give a try!! So I did my first visit there, got a 30 dollars off for the signature facial which it was just a basic facial with a 10 mins or so massage. During the facial they did a deep cleaning, steam on my face, checked or removed any black head...etc. the facial lasted for 50-60 mins. I felt super relaxed and fresher!! My wife set up a first time appointment and then called to confirm the $30 off a first time visit massage. My wife showed up and when she was charged she was told that first time visit only works on Monday to Thursday. That stipulation alone is a poor choice for customer service. The second poor choice was then informing a first time customer that their first visit would be one of disappointment. I just had an amazing experience here. My body is a glorious temple, and I subscribe fully to the "treat yo self" mentality. But I'm also really frugal, so when I do treat myself, I appreciate the experience to the fullest and look for reasonable prices. Next time my face needs some TLC from a professional, I will be booking another facial with Tammy. I live in Curti Ranch, so it is so convenient to have this spa nearby at the Summit. Yelpers who are new customers can take advantage of the offer of a signature massage or facial for $59, which is a fantastic price. The front desk staffperson was very friendly over the phone and in person. I was able to make a same-day appointment, which was fabulous, because I was dealing with day 5 of period acne and I was hankering for the skills of an aesthetician. Tammy did an excellent job, and she was so friendly and kind. Such a kindred spirit! This is only my third salon facial and my first time getting one at a spa, but damn, the spa factor makes the experience extra special! After I completed my new client paperwork, I was ushered into the women's "sanctuary" (waiting area), inside which is a fancy locker room where you take off your clothes and put on a fluffy robe and sandals. There are lockers to store one's stuff, with built-in and easy-to-use locks. One gets to enjoy all the perks of the waiting area (great variety of tea with hot or cold water, lavender-infused neck wraps, and mints) until the person who is preforming the service fetches you. As a proud female professional who nevertheless has flexibility in setting my work hours, I'm a little nervous whenever I'm in settings where others might interpret me as part of the "ladies who lunch" social class. But the other women who were in the waiting area and locker room were super friendly. And it's so nice that one has access to the room for a lil' quiet time before getting dressed again and heading out to pay. I've been coming here for less than a year and it only took a few appointments with this place to realize I should sign up for a membership. It's definitely worth the price. I personally signed up for the premiere membership which comes out to be $80 a month. I always look forward to getting my monthly massages. The front desk staff are always welcoming and the massage therapists do a wonderful job with making sure I'm comfortable. The relaxation room provides a nice little tea collection. The changing rooms clean with good size lockers for your personal belongings. She beams with positivity and was a pleasure to have had as my tech. I used Groupon as I do often for new fun experiences in town. Hate to do this but had a facial booked today for at least 3 weeks. When I checked in today, I am told "oh sorry you need a patch test 24 hours ahead of your facial". Did they tell me this when I booked or even anytime prior to showing up to my appointment? A big fat NO is the answer. Also they didn't offer to do the skin patch test and reschedule. I am so very disappointed in this place. I booked an appointment and received a confirmation of the booking, showed up to my appointment and they had double booked and turned me away. All they could offer was to reschedule me for another day and a possible complimentary enhancement. Honestly how do I know that I'd actually have an appointment the next time I booked. I'd recommend taking your business somewhere that has their booking system figured out, there is nothing worse than getting a babysitter and showing up for 80 much needed minutes of relaxation just to be turned away because they booked two people at the same time. *edit 12/30/2017 - I was impressed with the owner responding and requesting I call to make the situation right. I called and never got a call back from either of the below mentioned women in the response and further my mom booked a massage here with a gift certificate that was given to me and she received a call the day of canceling her appointment not once, but TWICE!
