Service was so friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing! The Birria egg rolls are so good I wanted to go back for more to take home. The salads are huge, and delicious! Definitely stop by Sparky's if you're in the area! read more

Gluten free and dairy light eater. Dillon is a small little town but it has a few good spots. This place was a casual location with cute decor. You can chose from a variety of places to sit. I went with a few coworkers after work for a drink and appetizers. I got the supreme nachos. I love nachos! These were decent. More cheese than I should have ate so don't get these if you are looking for dairy light! I wish there was more beans and chicken on them. But flavor wise nothing disappointed. They have local Montana brews on tap so try one out! We all got fried foods. So take that as you may. They do fried foods well. The fries were handmade. And quite good. It's not meant to be fine dining just a good casual stop. People have complained about the prices but overall they ate just as high as other places I have gone. I would come here again. read more

Good experience! Through word of mouth I ended up here. Beer selection was good and food was good. A tad pricey but as far as the rest of Montana goes it's about up to par. My waiter Chad was awesome, attentive and friendly! I got the Rueben and pickle fries. Pickle to breading ratio was perfect. Rueben was excellent. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back! Ambiance was fun, love the attention to detail for the theme! read more

The ribs were as good as any I've ever had, and everything else was amazing. Even the service was great.

After 8 hours on the road, this place was a welcomed stop for an hour. The food was the best out of the overall experience. All in our party left satisfied. Service wasn't bad, but certainly didn't seem to concerned with leaving an impression. Ambiance is on point. It had a great atmosphere and was a hit with our group. read more

We stopped here on our way to the Hiawatha trail. Fun, atmosphere and delicious food. Which uses were quick and attentive. We enjoyed a smoked Philly and a Reuben. We also got huckleberry shake for the road. read more

We got into town late. Sparky's was closing in 30 minutes. They welcomed us and never rushed our meal. Food was very good and portions were generous. Fun atmosphere. read more

The ambiance was incredible, the service was amazing, and the mac n cheese topped with pulled pork was sooooo good

After a longgg day of driving, Sparky's Garage was a great way to end the day. The service was exceptional, the food came quickly, and everything was delicious. I'd recommend anything that allows you to try their homemade BBQ sauces (especially the honey BBQ). The cornbread and BBQ beans paired very well with the pulled pork. The lugnutz were an odd take on crab rangoons but I'm glad we tried them. If we're ever back in Dillon we'll definitely stop again! read more

Good was okay was a little bland but environment was great. Service was good a little slow but it was a busy night

Stopped off in Dillon at the end of our trip the night before we had to head back to Bozeman. Had about a 25 min wait around 6 pm on a Thursday night, so they were fairly busy. We started out with some fried cheese curds (with ranch and blue cheese for my dipping sauces!) and I had a vanilla lavender lemonade (alcoholic). Super tasty and pretty filling, so best to share to save some room for dinner. For my entree I had the strawberry avocado salad with smoked salmon and a poppy seed dressing and oh man, it was SO good. I even tried to replicate it at home, but I need to find a better dressing. They use nice big flaky pieces of smoked salmon. My boyfriend had the jambalaya - can't say how it was, since I don't really eat spicy things, but he liked it alright and ate some leftovers for breakfast. Would return for the food, and our server was nice. The hostesses were a bit brusque, but not that big a deal. Plus, in addition to sports channels, they had an animal channel playing - cat videos ftw! read more

Came extremely hungry and was really looking forward to some good BBQ. The first place we tried was permanently closed. Had high hopes from the reviews and the pictures looked amazing. The atmosphere and decor was spot on, you can even sit in an old time truck for dinner if you luck out. Service was quick and friendly. LOTS of beers on draft, the names of which definitely have you intrigued. The food was just ok. Nothing to write home about and a bit on the dry side. The best thing we ordered was the smokehouse Philly, we give that 8.5/10 Crispy chicken salad was lettuce, tomato, onion and dressing. 7/10. Brisket while tender, was dry and no flavor, luckily they had a few sauces to choose from to drown it in. 6/10. Mac and cheese noodles were gummy 5/10. Mashed potatoes solid 8/10. Corn bread gets a 7.5 with the honey butter being it's saving grace. Service gets 8/10 Overall we were a bit disappointed, but would give it another chance if no other good options available. read more

Sorry I forgot to take photos. The pulled pork plate was great. I'm not a Mac n cheese person but it was awesome! It was creamy. Service was great! read more

As a local, my wife and I have never had a good/decedent meal at this place, we have tried a few times and just gave up, no wonder, they frequently run a ad in the local paper for cooks, w/o any experience. read more

Drove by this cute restaurant on our way to the RV park. We setup our trailer and decided to head here for an early dinner. I had the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband had a burger with fries. The chicken dinner was DELICIOUS!! The coating on the chicken was so crunchy and the chicken was moist. We have already decided that we are returning tomorrow to try something else. The staff was very friendly and our server was fantastic. Thank you and see you tomorrow. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I would recommend you go. The food was adequate, but not everything came how we ordered it. Took a while to get order placed. So it seems a hit or miss. The atmosphere is vibrant and cool. Milkshake was great. read more

This food was excellent. The ambience was excellent. Fresh cut fries are the best. Great spot, with a classic car you can eat in.

The pulled pork sandwich and fries were excellent (emphasis on the fries being great). The service was also very attentive and quite friendly. I'll definitely be stopping by here again when I get the chance. read more

Great atmosphere and service but the food is pretty average. If this review was based solely on the food it would just be three stars. We orders the cheese curds, lug nutz, and the fish and chips. Cheese curds and lug nutz were good. Fish and fries were decent. They did have a huckleberry milk shake that I could pass up that was quite good as well. read more

Good food, good service, loved dining on the deck. Second experience at Sparky's... first time was at the Butte location, that was good too. read more

This will be the third time I've been to Sparky's. First was in 2021...was very good. Was going to go in 2022, but they had a kitchen fire and wasn't open when I was in town. Went back in 2023 and wasn't quite as happy as the first time...just didn't order the right things I guess. Today I ordered the Philly steak brisket sandwich that came with cornbread and a side which I chose the beans. Philly was ok, could have used some different bread which would have made a difference. The cornbread was very good and the beans were also quite good. For a side I ordered the loaded fries which had a four cheese blend, bacon and pickled jalapeños. Now I love cheese and bacon, but wow they put over the top amount of both on the fries...was a bit much. Going to pay for eating the whole thing...was good, but overkill. Lastly I had a bowl of French onion soup which several people raved about in the reviews. I love French onion soup and always get it if it's on the menu. Don't know how I missed it the first two times I was there unless it was recently added...anyway, it was solid. Not the best I've had or even top 10%, but still really good. Overall a solid spot to stop at if I'm the area. Also has a nice tap list of about 25 beers. The food is a bit on the steep price side. Soup was $12.95 (came with cornbread) and noticed wings were $14.95 for 6 wings! Still worth a stop. read more

I ordered the jambalaya with cornbread and my girlfriend had the chicken strips and fries. The jambalaya was flavorful and had a large portion. The cornbread was a bit too dry but the honey butter was great. The chicken strips look hand breaded. They were crunchy and flavorful. The buffalo sauce on the side was her favorite. The fries were okay but either refried or over fried. It was a little pricey, but I loved the interior and the server was nice and attentive. read more

Clean, great service, great food. Stopped in on a trip from Utah and this place did not disappoint food was good and came out quickly. They were kid friendly and provided great service. Pulled pork sandwich was really good, burgers were above your average diner. The Mac and Cheese is probably the best I have ever had, no joke. 4 stars as the water/ice was a little stale tasting, other than that we had no complaints. read more

Once a year, my wife and I drive up I-15 through Dillon Montana on the Beaverhead River in Southwest Montana. We always stop in Dillon to eat at Sparky's Garage. Sparky's has the feel of a 1950's gas station - auto garage, with all the metal signs, garage memorabilia, and local historical photographs. Very cool. For me it's a handmade milk shake, slow smoked baby back ribs, corn bread, barbecue baked beans, and mac & cheese. They have three varieties of BBQ Sauce and a great Carolina Mustard to accent the selection of smoked meats. Yes, I know... how do you eat all that? Well, I don't eat breakfast or lunch before arriving at Sparky's, and I take a to-go box. They have Burgers, sandwiches, fried chicken, sweet potato fries, Alaska salmon, chicken fried steak, and their smokehouse meats. The bar has a large selection of beer on tap, both local and from elsewhere. The service is great; people are friendly; the food is good; the atmosphere is fun; the price is reasonable. If you find yourself within a couple hundred miles of Dillon Montana, this is a 4+ star stop. read more
