I've been using SP for years now, and it's pretty crappy of me not to let people know how good this operation is. It's really a one-man show, so from here out I'll just refer to the guy by name--Kai. We originally wanted gutters cleaned when we bought the house. Kai recommended that we should also add sturdy foam to filter out debris. I got some from the local big-box hardware store, stacked it up on the porch, and a couple days later Kai cut it, scurried up to the roof, and installed it. Of course he also cleaned out the gutters beforehand. Nicest part was, it was easy to return the leftover boxes of unused foam. I had overshot the estimate by about 40%, and getting refunded on the unopened stuff was simple. Kai took the one partially-used box with him to make the next job cheaper for the next client. Since then, he has been back to blow debris off the roof (and the tops of the gutters). This is a noisy proposition if you're working from home and in meetings, but doesn't take long. He always shows up right on time and always hauls away all the debris, too. He does pretty much everything on the top or outside of your house. He has washed all of the windows (outside) and skylights for us, and even washes off the roof over the patio. The patio roof is transparent corrugated heavy plastic. When he washes stuff, he uses I think ionized water, or some other soapless solution--nothing but water running off into your yard. Dig it! He has even screwed in a couple light bulbs for us that were too high to reach with any of our own ladders. We just asked if he could run up his extension ladder and screw them in, and he happily said "sure" and away he went, even though we didn't talk about it before he was out that day. Now we have long-life LED bulbs over the porch and I didn't have to clamber my clumsy behind way, way up on a ladder. He's always helpful, friendly, and cheerful, usually cracking jokes most of the time he's on site. I'm so happy to have him around to help. He sends invoices via email and you pay him via paper check. I always have projects for him every year, and he always delivers. read more

I am very happy with the service we received from Sparkle Plus. Of course, I found them on Yelp after I could no longer convince the tenants in our rental house that the overflowing gutters were actually a waterfall feature we had installed on the roof. I contacted Kai through his website, received a response the next day, and had the gutters cleaned out the very next day! Talk about speedy service! Our tenants told me that he was very nice and professional, and that he knocked on the door to let them know that he was there before getting started. We also found the prices to be quite reasonable. Considering that this is a 1880 sq foot and two story house in the Mill Creek area, the $140 we were charged was small change in comparison to the ER bill we would have received had we attempted doing it ourselves. I was sent an invoice after the job was done, I mailed a check, and I received an email that it had been credited and that our account was settled. There were a couple hard to reach windows with streaks when he was done (because he arrived late in the day and the windows had direct sunlight on them) that I didn't notice until after he left. Did a great job on the windows but very disappointed that he didn't clean the tracks. Came home to find every one dirty with bugs or dirt or debris. Wasn't home & trusted a friend to let him in to do the work. A window washer that leaves the tracks filthy??? Can't recommend that. Update: I was contacted to rectify this but was told he charges $4/track to clean them. This was not in the bid or a part of the bid. Other cleaners I use don't charge extra for tracks. I don't get a business that cleans windows but feels it is ok to leave the tracks filthy. Please make that a part of the cost of cleaning a window & up the cost if you need to. read more
