I've been using SP for years now, and it's pretty crappy of me not to let people know how good this operation is. It's really a one-man show, so from here out I'll just refer to the guy by name--Kai. We originally wanted gutters cleaned when we bought the house. Kai recommended that we should also add sturdy foam to filter out debris. I got some from the local big-box hardware store, stacked it up on the porch, and a couple days later Kai cut it, scurried up to the roof, and installed it. Of course he also cleaned out the gutters beforehand. Nicest part was, it was easy to return the leftover boxes of unused foam. I had overshot the estimate by about 40%, and getting refunded on the unopened stuff was simple. Kai took the one partially-used box with him to make the next job cheaper for the next client. Since then, he has been back to blow debris off the roof (and the tops of the gutters). This is a noisy proposition if you're working from home and in meetings, but doesn't take long. He always shows up right on time and always hauls away all the debris, too. He does pretty much everything on the top or outside of your house. He has washed all of the windows (outside) and skylights for us, and even washes off the roof over the patio. The patio roof is transparent corrugated heavy plastic. When he washes stuff, he uses I think ionized water, or some other soapless solution--nothing but water running off into your yard. Dig it! He has even screwed in a couple light bulbs for us that were too high to reach with any of our own ladders. We just asked if he could run up his extension ladder and screw them in, and he happily said "sure" and away he went, even though we didn't talk about it before he was out that day. Now we have long-life LED bulbs over the porch and I didn't have to clamber my clumsy behind way, way up on a ladder. He's always helpful, friendly, and cheerful, usually cracking jokes most of the time he's on site. I'm so happy to have him around to help. He sends invoices via email and you pay him via paper check. I always have projects for him every year, and he always delivers. read more

Cleaned windows inside and out, and screens. Very pleased with workmanship. Will hire again next year.

Kai came out today to clean our windows from top to bottom and was just as great as the last two times he came out over several years. This time, we had two screens to repair and he came back the same day with them already fixed! pleasant, professional, reasonably priced, and super nice! Thanks, Kai! read more

I am very happy with the service we received from Sparkle Plus. Of course, I found them on Yelp after I could no longer convince the tenants in our rental house that the overflowing gutters were actually a waterfall feature we had installed on the roof. I contacted Kai through his website, received a response the next day, and had the gutters cleaned out the very next day! Talk about speedy service! Our tenants told me that he was very nice and professional, and that he knocked on the door to let them know that he was there before getting started. We also found the prices to be quite reasonable. Considering that this is a 1880 sq foot and two story house in the Mill Creek area, the $140 we were charged was small change in comparison to the ER bill we would have received had we attempted doing it ourselves. I was sent an invoice after the job was done, I mailed a check, and I received an email that it had been credited and that our account was settled. Easy peasy, no hassle, good work....Highly recommended! read more

Kai did a great job for a very reasonable price, and he's also a really fun and helpful guy!

Kai came out to wash all the windows, inside and out as well as do some moss control on the roof. As always, Kai did an awesome job. There were a couple hard to reach windows with streaks when he was done (because he arrived late in the day and the windows had direct sunlight on them) that I didn't notice until after he left. I let him know and he didn't hesitate to drop back by and rework the windows. Now, all is well! Thanks Kai! Always a pleasure! read more

I am actually not a customer but a handyman, and Kai came to do work on a home I was also working on getting it ready for sale. I was struck by how amiable he was and how efficiently he worked. And the windows were sparkling when he was done. I have quite high standards for anyone I recommend or refer people to, but I can say based on my experience, I'll be using Kai as my go-to window-washer and gutter cleaner and referring folks to him. read more

Awesome work ethic, fantastic job. Kai cleaned the gutters and washed the windows with efficiency and a great attitude. He went above and beyond by clearing the debris off the whole driveway as well as clearing the run-off grate. He also took pictures of damage done to the roof of our two-story home caused by a recent wind storm and removed the offending tree branch which had pierced the roof. The windows are sparkling and he was expertly careful cleaning our easily bendable window screens successfully. I readily recommend this competitively priced specialist who was true to his quote. Kai is a consummate professional, and great at what he does. Thank you for beautifying our windows at Abbey View!

Meh. After good service in the past last visit left us with windows not great, screens that were uncleaned, and a roof removal/treatment that sprouted moss just few months later. He can do good work, but he blew it. read more

After submitting over 7 requests for bids on window cleaning our business; Kai was the first to respond. He responded before the end of the day, and showed up the next day to give us a bid. He could have told us he charged a million dollars and we would have paid because we were so desperate to get someone to help us clean our windows. Not only was Kai fairly priced, but he is quick! Thank you Kai for going above and beyond on your Friday evening, in order to help us get our windows cleaned before our Tattoo Party!! You are truly a life saver!!! read more

I was not home when Kai came to wash the inside and outside of our windows, but our nanny was and she raved about how nice he was and that he was funny too. We also needed to get our windows done very quickly as we are putting our house up for sale and he was able to fit us in the day after I called. Wahoo! read more

Excellent service! I priced 2 other companies before contacting Sparkle Plus and Kai came to the house and gave the best bid of the three. Did a great job on the windows but very disappointed that he didn't clean the tracks. Came home to find every one dirty with bugs or dirt or debris. Wasn't home & trusted a friend to let him in to do the work. A window washer that leaves the tracks filthy??? Can't recommend that. Update: I was contacted to rectify this but was told he charges $4/track to clean them. This was not in the bid or a part of the bid. Other cleaners I use don't charge extra for tracks. I don't get a business that cleans windows but feels it is ok to leave the tracks filthy. Please make that a part of the cost of cleaning a window & up the cost if you need to. read more

Kai did a great job. Windows were quite dirty. They were quite clean after he finished.

We hired Kai to clean our roof of moss and clean out our clogged gutters. He was on time, ready to work and didn't stop until the job was done. He was cheerful, energetic, and enthusiastic about his work and his price for the work was great. I would hire him for any work in the future and I'm thrilled with the results. My husband and I have been involved in a lot of remodel, construction and maintenance situations and we are always so relieved when people do what they say they are going to do. I first turned to Yelp to browse companies that focused on cleaning roofs, gutters and windows. I called around 10 companies that were given high marks on Yelp with only two companies calling me back eager to give me a bid (Sparkle Plus was one of them!). My first impression from the two was that Sparkle Plus simply seemed more professional, giving me a written bid via email. My gut instinct paid off. Kai did an amazing job on my dad's house! He was very enthusiastic, kind, and took lots of pride in his work which was awesome to see. He even took before and after photos of the roof! He hand cleaned all the moss off of the roof, cleaned all the gutters, and cleaned the inside and outside of the windows all for a very reasonable price. He even told me that the job took longer than he expected but stuck to his original quote (which took him all day). He even showed me a broken screen on one of the windows and repaired it for FREE! I would highly recommend Sparkle Plus and I am eager to spread the word about what a great job he did! Very pleasant experience overall and I highly recommend Kai! read more

I contacted them for a quote and they were super weird over email. They kept telling me that they would going to just show up at my placed unannounced to do a "walk around." Unannounced? I kept trying to set up an appointment, so I would be home, but that went nowhere. Eventually they sent me a google maps photo of my house, which I thought was odd. Again, I kept trying to set up an appointment and things just fizzled out. read more
