I was referred to Chinook Services to clean my gutters, and they could have easily agreed to do the job at my out-of-pocket expense, but because of their honesty and integrity they informed me that the Leafguard system I have installed on my gutters has a lifetime warranty. In addition, they were very communicative, reaching out to me several times to ensure I had received their messages. The online quote was not very helpful. After I completed the questionnaire on their site, Chinook called to provide a more 'accurate' rough estimate, stating that the final price would be determined on the day of service after assessing the gutter conditions. On the day of the service, I mentioned this again, and the technicians confirmed that the current proposal was acceptable. However, an hour into the cleaning, I was informed that due to the presence of gutter covers--which I had already noted in the questionnaire and which the technicians were aware of when we agreed upon the price--they would not be able to fully clear the gutters within the scheduled time. They explained that only half of the job could be completed and that I would need to schedule another day to finish the work. I was very disappointed, as we had agreed on a final price at the start, and I expected the service to be completed 100%, not to be told an hour into the cleaning that it couldn't be finished without additional costs. This business is a big scam. My wife tried to schedule for them to come out to give an estimate after she was told over the phone that the estimate is around $260 for about an hour of window washing (based on our house that they can see online. By the way, the phone conversation was recorded without her knowledge and she was never informed that the conversation is recorded. Anyway, today two technicians came out and it was raining. So I brought up to their attention that it is a good idea to wash the window when it is raining, and both guys indicated that it is not a good idea but it is up to me. However; I showed them all the windows from the outside and they told me it would take at least an hour and 20 to 30 minutes which is more than they quoted my wife over the phone. So obviously, I assume it will be more than $260, which I was not ready for them to do. So i told them to come back some other time when the weather is nicer. Basically, I have a right to refuse their services because the price will be higher based on the on-site estimate. Now, they are threatening to make me pay cancellation fees otherwise they will send it to the collection. What a scam, I told them this is not a way to do business, if they want to make money the right way, I will be more than happy if they could give me a better deal and if their service is good after all then I will be more than happy to refer them to my friends. I contacted Chinook Services earlier this week for a quote to pressure wash my vinyl siding and clean exterior windows. I used them previously so I was already familiar with them and had been satisfied with their work and the cost. I was surprised the new estimate was about the same as when I used them before. I approved the estimate and they Corey came out the next morning on time. He worked hard and did a great job. Towards the end I asked for an estimate to clean some of the inside windows and a skylight. It was very reasonable so he did that too after finishing up on the original work. I appreciate at there was no face to face interaction and the team was prepared with masks just incase. There was also good follow up and customer service prior to the work being done. Unfortunately the window screens were left dirty (despite complimentary screen cleaning included) and not wiped down at all. I had mentioned prior to cleaning that I would pay extra for outside windowsills/tracks to be wiped but was told that service would be complimentary also. However in addition to the screens the sills and tracks were left very dirty. I did email the company to let them know but have not heard back yet. Windows look clean for the most part but just note nothing gets physically wiped, just hosed down. It works for the glass but for the price I think wiping dirt off screens and outside facing sills/tracks should be included. I will end up wiping down myself best I can or hiring another company to help redo. read more

Chinook was the only company who politely followed up with us and prompted me to get going on this project again. They were always polite and helpful with my questions. When I finally booked the service, the two young men who came out were very kind and professional. We had requested roof and gutter cleaning as well as interior and exterior window cleaning services. They took the time up front to explain exactly what they were going to do from beginning to end. The services they performed only took about 3 hours and I felt it was a great value for the price. Like I mentioned I had shopped around quite a bit and found the pricing to be all over the place. Some quite high and some much more reasonable. We are quite happy with the services received from Chinook and I would feel comfortable recommending them to others. Just a very un organized company to deal with. Tried calling the company a few times at 3:30pm on a Monday and no one is picking up the call. Tried it again at 4pm and no one is pick up the call. Tried the next day and person who answered doesnt want to be bothered by a question that i was told that the project manager named Charles can answer and will not be available the next day to answer it. And was told i will get a call back from Ashley. 1 week later still no call back from Ashley with the answer to my question. I called couple times on different time of the day and was told Ashley is on another line. And will relay the message. Its been another week and still no call back. I used these guys to clean my half of my shared roof and gutters (in a townhouse). They only took about an hour, and they cleaned up the yard after they were done! We also had two skylights they were able to clean for $10. They called me when they were on their way, when they arrived, and when they were done--we never had to speak face to face, which is great in the times of Covid. I did see them as they set up, though, and they were still sporting masks anyway! Just a note--I had asked if they could do some branch trimming while they were up there (we have branches touching our siding), but they did not have adequate tools in the van that day to reach the branches. This was after I sent them pictures of the branches and their location. Not sure if the pictures just didn't do a good job of showing the branches distance from the roof, or if they missed grabbing the correct tools, but keep that in mind if you also want branches trimmed. I'm going to schedule them regularly now for maintenance work. I am also located in N. Seattle, so don't let the Everett address turn you away if you're a ways south. read more

Technician showed up on time and cleaned our deck. Took him about 1.5 hours and looks good. Price was reasonable. There are a few spots left but not sure they are cleanable as I've gotten on my hands and knees with a rag and cleaner and couldn't get them out.
