Clean windows when you pay for clean windows. They completely omitted a window in the kitchen and the rest don't look like they have been cleaned at all. They were in and out very fast and used a no squeegee method of just hosing them down and it doesn't seem to work and they are not cheap. read more

We had our roof and gutters cleaned today in addition to a soft wash of our whole house. Outside windows and skylights were also washed. Clean425 (Kaitlyn and Malik) did an excellent job! Our house looks like it was just painted and everything is sparkling clean! They were very careful about protecting our plants and outdoor furniture. There was a just a little tiny of blowing of our patio we had to do after they left Their customer service (Mharjorie and Rose) was top notch! I called for an estimate and they were out the next day. A "professional" promised to clean everything, upon clean arrival they said said that cleanable things were "uncleanable" after services were skipped, and then they stripped my new patio set that I had said every time " please, leave it be. My butchered patio set was never included and was to be remained untouched. The dirt scrubbed away by my very own hands. NOT FAIR!! I paid you to do it. Through this service I had never had my exterior properly cleaned. I'd also never considered that they'd forfeit my new patio furniture as such as casualty. They came and promised me a clean Patio. TL;DR: expect high rates. I felt rushed/pressured. Let me start off by saying it takes a company *lot* for me to deem some place below average in terms of customer service. The appointment scheduling and the free estimate process was fine and normal but what was NOT state up front is that they require a 50% down payment right then and there after they give you the quote. Not only was the "down payment expected at visit" not stated up front, but the request sounded more like a demand. I felt rushed and the salesman was very pushy in terms of trying to get me scheduled right away. But after pushing back and stating I'd give them a call if I'd like their services, he finally reluctantly left. I get it. I get businesses are trying to get more customers in the door but rushing/pressuring does not fall into my type of business ethic. Don't get me wrong, everything was handled professionally and all my questions answered favorably but I felt I was trying to be taken advantage of financially. I have a new home with minimal moss (a few very small patches) on the roof and was quoted $600+ for scraping/cleaning and moss treatment powder to be added. Again, I get that companies need to pay employees and such but this was such a ridiculously high price tag for something that seemed so minuscule. Original Post (July 2024) Unfortunately, we have very horrific experience with this company. You can see more reviews of people in our case on Better Business Bureau website (https://www.bbb.org). Clean425 cleaned our roof in June 2023. Since they didn't follow the correct steps in protecting our plants around our house (from front to back), our plants were exposed to their solution and died. A year later, they still want us to wait until they're done talking to their experts even though we've repeatedly requested them to replace the plants ASAP. We gave them a deadline to provide us with their replacement plan and they don't seem to bother. During our conversation last fall, they even mentioned that their lawyer had said they'd done everything to avoid any liabilities before we even brought up any legal matters. We're taking them to court. 10/3/24 Update: The Company contacted us right after we posted the review and only wanted to correct their wrongdoing if we remove our review. We refused to let them dictate the terms and conditions. They haven't contacted us since! read more

We had Christmas Light's installed this last year by Clean 425. When the employee was leaving our driveway after removing the lights he accidently hit one of our lighted pillars and destroyed it. Pillar was repaired on 2 occasions because of cracked concrete on the top after repairing. We were asked to look at replacement lights because the carriage light is unrepairable. After finding lights to be replaced by them, I was told they would only be replacing the light they broke. The light's we have match all six pillars and 4 on the house! It would be at my expense to replace any lights besides the one broke. This has been going on for 6 months and not resolved. Bad customer service.... read more

I am excited to say, Jackson and Katlin with everything they needed to fix the lights. They checked all of the strings and connections. Clean debris from rooftop and clean gutters. Add moss treatment. One story mobile home and 2 car garage. Estimator quoted job which seemed extremely high ($556). He said it included a roof jack as an anchor for safety. Never in 25 years, have we had to pay for this item to be added. He said it was required by OSHA. We called OSHA and they said that it was required for roof heights over 35 ft. Our roof is 4 on12 and only 15 feet to the peak. He also said that the $160 fee was excessive for the roof jack. Felt like we were taken advantage of. The couple who did the cleaning did a great job. Walkways, porch, etc was clean. We did have 2 yard waste bins full of debris in the yard that I had to rake up. Guess it was not a subject that was discussed at the time of the bid. Would like to warn people about the uncharge for the roof jack. I felt the price for it was excessive. read more

When they were here, they broke an antique stained glass window. After initially saying they have insurance and will replace the window, I have heard crickets from them. Denied responsibility for scratched window when it was caused by them from the cleaning. Exterior stone was repaired and the dirty window was recleaned from them. Will be going elsewhere. read more

All the boxes were ticked....i.e. good reviews, bonded, insured, etc. When you live in a condo, you need to go along with the other board members if they differ in who to choose. I hired this company after being cold called by their sales rep, Richard, who is a fantastic sales person. He convinced me NOT to use another company because the oil sealant that I was told by that other company makes a roof dangerously slick to walk on for future services. He also assured me that they give a 100% guarantee and if I was unhappy for any reason, Clean425 would come back to make sure I am satisfied. Long story short, no quote given to confirm phone conversation or the price. The technician, Christian, had a Work Order on his phone for over $500 more than what I agreed to with Richard. Christian gave me half the difference as a discount and I agreed to eat the other half & allowed them to proceed because the three crew members seemed sweet and eager to work. Around 3 pm I received an invoice emailed for work not even completed, and no sign of the promised before & after photos. Christian and his 2 unnamed female assistants soon afterwards informed me they were finished. I was horrified because the moss was clearly still on my roof, just brown & ugly instead of green. After much convincing and logic with them about how I engaged their service for "moss removal", they stayed until after 7 pm to hand brush the dead moss off my roof, as I agreed to for the initial cost over $2,700. I later heard loud motor noise, so I went to check on their progress to find that they were on my roof - power washing it! This was something I specifically informed Richard that I did NOT want done. I have this on video as I yelled up to Christian to ask him why he was power washing my roof. His response was that it was "better" (faster). Both he and one of his female assistants were doing it simultaneously. Christian then came down to promise they had it on a low setting and that he was confident they would not damage my Presidential roof, which cost me $50K a few years ago. I wasn't happy about it and even told Christian that I was shaking mad and felt like crying as I walked back into my house in shock and utter disappointment. They finished the work after 7 pm when I couldn't clearly see anything. Christian informed me that his manager would return another day to make sure all is right. Gutters were also never cleaned. I called the next day to be immediately hung up on. I called again to speak with Ron & Richard (sales reps). They apologized to me for being unhappy & said their service manager, Adam, would return my call. I tried to let them know that I had a meeting which I was now late for, but that I would appreciate the manager coming to my house the following day after 9 am. We hung up and immediately Adam Butner called me anyway. He was EXTREMELY rude and instead of listening to my concerns, yelled at me, accusing me of being rude & told me that he was told that I was yelling at eight (8) of his employees all day long, the day before. I asked him who all those people are, but he only rattled off 3 or 4 names and told me he doesn't have to answer any questions and when I informed him that I was still waiting for the before & after photos, he barked at me to pay the invoice or he will "file a lien" against my home! He also insulted me about what I should know about business as a real estate broker & let me know that he was stalking me online about my business. It was clear to me now that he has evil intentions to keep my photos for what my imagination can only assume, with his bad behavior, would be to case out my property and cause me much undue duress and possibly physical harm and/or property damage or whatever else he decides to do. I immediately called the police and filed a police report. Adam called later that day to let me know he was contacted by the police and was told by the officer that he didn't understand my concerns and said I also was disrespectful to the police officer, by yelling & screaming at him. I called the officer to ask him if that was accurate and was told it was not. The officer informed me that he advised him to not have contact with me and that we should resolve our issue with the courts. I fully agree, but obviously Adam chose to call me again instead, to try to bully me AGAIN. I have since requested the before & after photos at least 6 times, to no avail. Adam had claimed he is an owner, but records show on-line (Adam told me to check with the Department of Licensing, which I did) that the owners are Eric & Chad Mills. I checked with the Secretary of State and found out that Adam Butner is the "governing body", so no where does it state he is an ower. Another lie from Adam. He had also said that he gave the photos AND a video of me screaming at his employees, to his attorney and that his attorney will send me the photos and video. It is a week later and still no before and after photos. If you look at the Work Order that the technician texted me from his phone, you can see that the sales rep had noted that I am nice but picky & detail oriented! read more

Clean 425 is a waste of time, money, and patience and doesn't even attempt in making things right. Shady business: For two years in a row, an entire section of the Christmas lights Clean 425 installed have gone out. They set an appointment for a week later to repair the lights. On the date they were supposed to complete the repair, Clean 425 was a no call, no-show. Clean 425's approach to addressing this was to rebook the repair appointment THREE days later. They were a no call, no-show yet AGAIN. No reason was ever given for the no call/no show. For the 23 days my lights were installed, there was an outage for 11 days. Terrible hygiene: The representative from Clean 425 who came into my home to discuss the light display and design absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. It wasn't the kind of faint cigarette smell from a person who recently smoked but she smelled as if she had been wearing and smoking in the same clothes for weeks. Annoying and needy: In September of the second year of service, Clean 425 started calling and emailing me every couple of days and then began calling me daily to have my lights installed. Without my permission, they booked a Christmas light install date for October 10th. When I did not responded by the date they set without my permission, Clean 425 sent me a bill for the difference of the initial discount they offered for three years of service. The company stated in an email they assumed I didn't want lights installed because I hadn't responded to them by the beginning of OCTOBER. *If a client has already agreed to your service there is no need for the over-aggressive sales push. Next, do not book an appointment without talking to the client. Lastly, a good way to lose a client is to send them a bill because you didn't hear from them by the time you wanted to hear from them 2-3 months before anyone is normally thinking about Christmas lights. read more

I submitted an online quote, though their incredible online system, on Thursday afternoon, received a call from the front desk in less then two hours to schedule an appointment for Monday. I received an email confirming the appointment Thursday then a reminder email the day before. Tyler, the gentleman that completed the job, called mid-morning Monday and asked if he could come earlier as he was running ahead of schedule. This was perfect for me as I work from home so an early arrival is a non-issue. He arrived, reevaluated the windows (which I expected as the estimate was based on square footage vs actual panes). He provided the updated cost for my approval then got to work. He said it would take 3-4 hours, he was working solo, but he was actually done with the gutter cleaning service and exterior window cleaning within 2.5 hours.
