My friend and I were planning our bi-annual escape day. You know the ones. You get in the car around 9:00 with no plan for the day really. We decided we would go for massages. The day before our escape, we stumbled on the website to Spalenza. I had never been to a spa nor ever had a massage and did not know what to expect. I was blown away by this place. Literally 1000 yards off Route 1 in Peabody. Easy as pie to find. (If you know where Sonic is, Lake Street is pretty much on the opposite side of route 1.) A beautiful renovated mansion, a room or two still in transition but a huge beautiful back porch overlooks the Saugus reservoir. Sit and relax for a bit before your massage and just breathe! Quite, peaceful tranquility. Inside on floor 1, there is a full service salon and barber, gorgeous yoga studio, original flooring and molding throughout. The 2nd floor is massage and nail salon. There is a huge room for couples massage with a dry sauna and full, private bathroom. There are private massage suites, laser hair removal and waxing rooms. The grounds are beautifully planted and the entire facility is spotless. My friend and I both had a well deserved Swedish Massage, a facial and pedi. We drove from Whitman to go to this spa! It was worth every minute of the drive!! We were kind of gambling on a place, searching on line. We hit the jackpot with this hidden gem!!! Caring, professional therapists who genuinely care about the client! Silvane is the owner and she is just the sweetest! Thanks to you and your staff for an amazing day of relaxation for both of us!! You are now one of our official girls escape day destinations! Husbands not included. Well...maybe we will bring them. It depends on if they behave. They usually do. Namaste. Christine. read more

This place is FANTASTIC!!!! I only wish I lived closer, because I would be a monthly customer. I'm from the Attleboro area, but both my daughters live in Peabody. On December 30th I went to Peabody for a New Years Eve wedding the next day. Said to my daughter , "don't you wish we could find someplace to do updo's on our hair for the wedding?" Well she has been a customer of Spalenza in the past and went online to see if they had anything available. To our surprise they were holding a special for cut and style and makeup application for $60!!! It was late when we saw this but my daughter left them email. They called her back first thing in the morning and we had appointments for that afternoon. The three of us we pampered and beautified for the nighttime wedding. We all received many compliments and I myself hadn't felt that confident in a very long time. Thank you Sylvane and Laura!! They worked feverishly for about 3 hours on us three and we looked awesome! If anyone is looking for wedding hair and makeup I would highly recommend you contact this great little gem. There was also a very nice ,energetic salon assistant that was so helpful but I can't remember her name(sorry). She is a great addition to their team! Teamwork at the highest level in my opinion. Thank you again for such a great experience. I'll be back again someday! read more

I went to Spalenza on a Groupon for a facial. I purposely went early to fill out any paperwork that was required. Josie my technician provided me with a tour of the spa. She was very personable and made me feel relaxed from the very beginning. After evaluating my skin it was decided I needed a deep pore cleansing and hydration. I was so happy with the customized treatment. She spent what I consider an appropriate amount of time cleansing my pores and extractions. I've been to other places and they seem to just gloss over the importance of extractions. We all know doing your own extractions can cause more problems. Josie explained everything she was doing along the way. It was very luxurious. I was so relaxed I could have almost napped. The atmosphere and location is picture perfect especially this time of year with the turning of the leaves right there on a lake. Perfect all around. One last thing which was very important to me...she told me that I did not require facials every month or two. She recommended facials for me with the changing of seasons. This made me think she wasn't just trying to drum up business. I'll definitely be buying gift cards for family members for the upcoming holidays. read more

I found this place while doing some online research. I was looking for a relaxing place for my daughter and I to get massages on Mother's Day. The reviews were good and the place looked very promising. They didn't have online booking available for that day so I sent them an email and hoped for the best. Someone called me back within a half hour and just like that we had two massages booked for Mother's Day! When you drive up you instantly notice the gorgeous grounds, lakefront view, just a beautiful converted house. They took us around and showed us the salon, massage rooms, patio, everything looked great. The massages? BETTER THAN ANTICIPATED! Probably the most relaxing massage I've ever had. Then we checked out and were pleasantly surprised to see the prices were more than reasonable. And they gave us a first timers 20% discount. I cannot recommend this place enough for massages. They have a really beautiful couples room with a sauna in it as well. Very relaxing atmosphere and the people working there are incredibly nice and professional. I'll be back very very soon :-) read more

Exceptional Facial Care and Warm, Honest Service -- Kizzy at Spalenza Spa I've been following Kizzy for 15 years, and now that she's settled at Spalenza Spa in Danvers, the nearly 45-minute drive from Cambridge is absolutely worth it. Kizzy is wonderful -- warm, professional, and genuinely caring. She's a true master of facials, tailoring each treatment to my skin's needs and delivering consistent, excellent results. What sets Kizzy apart is her combination of technical expertise and positive energy. She understands all types of skin, explains why she chooses specific products and techniques, and educates rather than pressures. I never feel upsold; instead, I leave informed and confident about how to care for my skin between visits. The environment at Spalenza Spa is relaxing and well-appointed, which complements Kizzy's calm, skilled approach. If you're looking for knowledgeable, honest skincare and a practitioner who truly cares, Kizzy is worth the drive. Highly recommended. read more

My first experience with Spalenza was a wonderful one where I got one of the best haircuts I've ever had (by Josie) so it was no question where I would take my daughter to cut off nearly 6 inches of her own hair. My daughter is 4 y.o. and Silvane approached her as such - got on her level and engaged her immediately. She listened when I told her exactly how we wanted her hair to look and was patient with me when I showed her pictures. She was so lovely with my daughter and talked with her the whole time, always talking through what was coming next, etc. Her hair came out beautifully and my daughter even got to pick out her own snack from their goodie basket. Finally, I got a little welcome consult on what to use to help tame my daughter's very curly hair and we were all done in under an hour. Most importantly, my daughter was very happy with her very first "big girl salon" experience. Thank you! We will see you again, real soon! read more

This is my first visit to the new Spalenza Spa location in Danvers. I've enjoyed the original mansion location in West Peabody for about two years. The new place has a different vibe, energized and cutting edge, with the same emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. On my way to an interview, Josie brought new life to my professional look with a blowout and a make up update. Fatima calmed nerves with a soothing mani-pedi in new fall colors. Now a member of the monthly membership club, I'll be back to see Feng for a massage and Melissa for a facial. Excellent at what they do. Great product variety to choose from. Complimentary massage in a chair I'd like to take home with me. Look forward to returning to the mansion med spa for advanced aesthetics. Congrats to Silvane Spalenza on another winner. read more

Love this spot! The mansion itself is fabulous & overlooks Sauntaug lake. The staff is exceptional. After having bad experiences elsewhere that left my hair with straw-like consistency, Silvane is the only stylist I'll let touch my hair. She takes the time to explain the products & their effects on my hair as she applies them & always makes sure to provide the best & most comfortable spa-like experience around. If you're trying to find a salon that offers top of the line services in addition to a relaxing setting that pampers you from head to toe upon arrival, look no further! I also highly recommend a facial with Francine or a massage with Cheryl. Those two are absolutely excellent at what they do & never fail to put me in my most relaxed & rejuvenated state. 5 stars all around. read more

I have visited Spalenza on multiple occasions. Not only is it a calming local spa to retreat to, but it offers all the services I need in one place. The best part of Spalenza is that I have been able to book convenient appointments with Laura. Laura is multitalented and very helpful. She has done my gel manicures, facials, hair cuts, and now my lashes! She knows which products to recommend but isn't pushy about purchasing their products. Laura genuinely just wants to help improve my (lacking) beauty regime and I appreciate her knowledge. She is a great conversationalist but also knows when you just want to zone out and enjoy your facial and cucumber water while the spa music plays in the background! I highly recommend booking any service with Laura at Spalenza! read more

Thank you to the wonderful staff and Silvane for a relaxing and great experience! I recently moved to the area from New York. When find a place to get my hair highlighted and cut I was so nervous to use someone I didn't know. Silvane made me feel so comfortable, asking me a lot of questions so she fully understood what I wanted. My hair turned out just like the picture I showed her at the beginning of my appointment!!! She offered me great advice on products and maintenance without being pushy. I also received my first and only message from Silvane, it was AMAZING! I love coming to support Spalenza because they are an independently owned Spa with a great appreciation for their customers. I will definitely be coming back for more services!!!! read more

I came to spalenza after i got a gift certificate from my husband for the feel good package. Best gift ever! My experience started with the most relaxing massage from cheryl, after she was done, the esthetician Francine came in and gave me an amazing facial. I felt like i was in heaven! When she was done, they walked me over to the private manicure and pedicure room and Josie gave me a spa mani and pedi that far exceeded any expectations i had coming in. She even did the most adorable design on my nails. Im in love. The building was unique and luxurious feeling, the staff was attentive and experienced, and i felt more pampered than i ever have in my life. Thank you to spalenza and my husband for the best day ever! read more

My boys are always reluctant to go and get their haircuts because they complain it hurts when the buzzer goes to the back of their neck. I encouraged them to try someone new and they went kicking and screaming. Melo was amazingly patient with my younger son. He sat through the whole haircut with not a squirm or complaint. His new hairstyle was perfectly clean and adorable. My older son raves he loves his buzz cut and both refuse to go anywhere different. They only want to see Melo. We have been going there every 4 weeks ever since. They love to play pool and watch tv if they have to wait. It truly has been such a positive stress free experience since we have been seeing Melo for their haircuts. read more

My best friend and I celebrated our 40th birthdays with a half-day spa package at Spalenza. We both had great experiences and plan to go back. The massage therapist was extremely effective and thorough. Personally I've had a lot of massages in my life, and I think my massage at Spalenza was possibly the best massage I've ever had. The facials were lovely and the space is very professional. The ambiance is spot on for cultivating a calm and relaxed setting. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and fed us healthy & tasty snacks since we were there for several hours. In between sessions there are killer massage chairs to wait in. I highly recommend this business! read more

I am currently a receptionist at Spalenza, and have been helping with the opening of the new location. I have to say this is a wonderful spa environment to work in. The owner Silvane creates an extremely friendly and understanding environment for her employees. We act as a team. I have also been lucky enough to have my hair bleached and colored different shades of green by Josie, and it has been minimal damage to my hair and the process was so quick and clean! The products they use are wonderful. I have also had a facial with Melissa who was so accomadating and made my face feel so clean. I am so glad to work here and be able to grow with this company! read more

My number 1 pick ! Visited Spalenza's new location in Danvers (also in West Peabody) for the 2nd time today since their recent opening and looking forward to my next booking! Beautiful Salon/Spa with relaxing atmosphere and friendly/knowledgable staff. Silvani has done an amazing job with my hair and the products are top notch. I've always been greeted with a smile and kindness by the entire staff and made to feel comfortable throughout my stay! I also live out of state but making the trip to Spalenza for a 1-stop shop (hair, nails, makeup, skincare, massage, etc) is entirely worth it!! Both locations are super east to get to each right off rt 95! read more

Received the best facial I've ever had and routinely get my highlights and haircuts done here with Silvanne. She does a wonderful job and is extremely particular to ensure that the product is always exactly what I asked for. She uses the highest quality products so after the bleaching process my hair doesn't feel dead and brittle as it did after seeing my old hairdresser. Hours are super flexible. I've also gotten my eyebrows waxed here and, as expected, they came out beautifully. Would recommend any of there services. Absolutely beautiful location and view to take in while beatifying as well, doesn't get much better! read more

I attended the Hydrofacial event at Spalenza. What an amazing treatment! Josie (always amazing, by the way) explained every aspect of the treatment as it occurred and informed me of the beneficial effects for my skin. It was completely painless and totally enhanced by the amazingly comfortable treatment table, background ambiance and of course Josie's calm and reassuring demeanour. My skin was initially a bit reddened (I was informed of this prior to treatment), but this resolved in an hour's time and I cannot believe the difference in its appearance after one facial. Cannot wait until the next one! read more

My father and I had an appointment for haircuts and massages etc and Silvane did an excellent job with a head shave. She suggested I get an Ashiatsu massage because I'd never had one before and it was one of the best massages I've ever received. Cheryl, the massage therapist did a great job and I will definitely be back for another massage asap! Whenever my father and I go to Spalenza, we always receive the best Customer Service along with the spa services. Silvane does an excellent job making sure that all the customers are treated well and receive the best care. I can't wait to go back next month! read more

I received the most incredible deep tissue massage today at Spalenza with Francine. She loosened up and relieved all the tightness in my back and neck, as well as went the extra mile with my feet, legs, and fingers. I have had massages before yet never knew the experience could be so exhilarating. I was so immersed in the moment, however, I accidentally called her by the name of Francesca! Regardless of my faux pas, Francine was extremely professional, knowledgable, and made me feel like my appointment was the most important of her day. The worst part was leaving, and I look forward to returning. read more
