That said, the food didn't feel very authentic in terms of traditional Spanish cuisine, at least in my opinion. It's not bad, but if you're looking for something that truly captures the flavors and authenticity of Spain, this may not fully hit the mark. I have driven past this establishment many times before my wife finally requested if for her birthday dinner. Staff were friendly with the host working the tables. Ambience was good and we had a nice seat at the window. Service was top notch. Sadly though, all the food that we ordered was largely flavorless. I ordered the New York strip medium and it came well done. 100% gray end to end, no seasoning at all and no juices to be found exiting the meat. Chips were ok but again unseasoned, rice was similar. My wife had a Spanish Piaya featuring half a lobster, scallops, and shrimp on rice. Again, sadly very bland. I had a glass of red wine which was unmemorable, with our appetizer of chicken empanadas, which was also bland. even dessert was 3rd party purchased and lackluster. We felt bad because the service was excellent and host very personable but sadly it's a pass for us. Perhaps it was an off day with a backup chef, as many love the location but at the high price paid we won't visit it a second time. read more

I always look forward to visiting Spain Inn 2. The servers an always welcoming, friendly and very attentive. The Gazpacho Andaluz is a must. The entrees are thoughtfully prepared and presented. The desserts, although apparently third party, are excellent. Spain Inn 2 is the only restaurant that I've found that offers Iced Cream Cake Roll since I was a child. A special treat. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is excellent--very attentive throughout our visit. The food is amazing! I had the Mariscada en Salsa Verde, and it was the best--packed with seafood, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. Wine list is medium sized with reasonable prices. Very local feel to the restaurant as it is in a sparse area. 1. Garlic shrimp - very garlic taste and delicious! Good to split between 2-3 people. 2. 16-18oz NY strip - thick cut of a steak 1.5 inches thick. Meaty and came medium to medium rare (ordered as medium) . Overall a good steak and took half home. 3. Absolutely everything was great. The food was very good and nice proportions. We had the avocado appetizer which was generously mixed with shrimp and scallops, delicious! The clams casino was a nice serving size, about 12-14 of them. Dinner was Paella Marinera, huge serving , again generously filled with scallops,shrimp,clams and mussels, with lobster to top it off. Staff was very professional and friendly , every time a dish was dirty or water was half empty, there was a server to replenish. Dessert was tartuffo, very good. Start to finish, this joint is your classic Spanish family running a great family business. The seafood is always fresh, the bread and oil always flowing, and their sangria hits different! What we always get: -Paella Marinera (The RICE is dangerously good) -Mariscada Salsa Verde -Chorizo (THE BEST I've had. Want to always order a side to take home) We've gotten plenty of other dishes, but those are some of my favorite. Yesterday was my 77th birthday and the family took us out for dinner at Spain Inn 2. I rarely award a 5-star review to any restaurant, but in this case, I have made an exception. Starting with our server Raffy who guided me to select the best-tasting lobster this side of Florida he also guided the entire table into selecting their delicious entrees. As I previously stated, everyone's meals were fantastic and the service was unmatched, in summary, it was well worth the drive. Stopped in only for drinks on Sunday, August 27 midafternoon. Dark, drab & dreary. Looks like it hasn't been updated since the 50's, back when it's swimming pool was famous. Door handle was off in one of the restrooms...guest had to stick a finger in the hole to get out after getting in. Prepared dishes that staff were eating at the bar looked like they'd been around since the 50's, too. We came in the back "entrance" (that's what the sign said), to find a dark hallway, leading to a dark staircase, all looking like the set of a B horror movie. Drinks were overly sour/sweet, margarita glass rim was salted with small-grind table salt, rather than Kosher salt or sea salt. Awful, just awful. No standards. read more

My food was so bland I didn't eat it. I got the shrimp house special and it should be a favorite right? Well it had not one seasoning in it and no taste at all. The rice was equally bland. Calamari was dried out and over cooked, definitely was frozen not fresh. Gazpacho didn't taste fresh either, even though waiter said it was fresh made in house, I say it came from a restaurant distributor because it had a vinégary taste and Was brown not fresh bright red like red tomatoes. It wasn't served ice chilled although it was cold. The bowl was warm. They make nothing in house for dessert, only the flan. The service was great and The wine list was okay Not great. The place was virtually empty at peak dinner hour indicating to us that it wasn't a hot spot. We sat perched over a rundown parking lot. The building itself was in good condition and well decorated. The menu highlights are the garlic shrimp, the crab-stuffed avocado and the seafood paella. I've also enjoyed the stone seared strip steak. A must is their fresh baked bread with garlic and red pepper flake infused olive oil. One small nitpick: they are always crowded on special nights, but will never refuse a reservation so it can get nutty. But it's worth it. read more

I came here for the first time recently. We came with a large group of 10 and a bunch of kids and were seated promptly. The interior is alittle outdated but gives an interesting vibe. Out service was too notch!! From being knowledge, always had the bread flowing and drinks and water filled. Cleared as many dirty dishes as possible at all times. We ordered the shrimp scampi app i didnt think it was good the shrimp didnt taste good and it was cold. Then we ordered a stuffed whole lobster and spanish kabob. The kabob was awesome- the bacon scallops and filet was my favorite! And the presentation was awesome.. so different! The whole lobster in my opinion was horrible. All in all it was a great time with family but i wasnt crazy about the food. It is quite far from me so I most likely will not return. read more

And it's clear why the one that we chose is called the 'Especialedad de la Casa' -- Camarones "Spain Inn," is described on the menu as 'shrimp in a superb wine sauce' and superb is what it was. When I unpacked the buffet sized foil tray, I thought for a minute that they had mistakenly doubled my order! It was chock full of traditional saffron rice and fresh potato "chips". We had plenty left for the lunch the next day. And we even had leftovers for breakfast! Our dinner left no room for bread so we made French Toast the next morning! I went with my wife last week and it was a great night out. We split the appetizer special for the night, avocado stuffed with seafood. We had expected a half of an avocado with a little seafood salad in the middle but what came out was a large plate with 6 sections to it, one section had cocktail sauce the other 5 were filled with a avocado seafood salad which was full of large chunk crabmeat, shrimp and scallops. This was much more than we expected and was a great sharable appetizer. My wife loved her Mariscada Salsa Verde and took half home. I ordered the stuffed lobster and again the stuffing was loaded with whole shrimp and scallops, it was the best seafood stuffing have ever had. The owner was very attentive and checked on us a few times to be sure were enjoying our meals. The entire evening was enjoyable from the fresh bread and spicy oil to the coffee and complementary after dinner drinks. We will be back sooner than later and I will be trying the kabobs next time they looked amazing going by. read more

Walked in and no one was there to greet us, staff saw that there were people gathering at the front but no one came forward until one of the managers who is screwing around came to ask how many were in a party. We got seated fairly quickly and service is good just not quick. We started out with garlic shrimp as an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the vegetable paella which was yummy although the bottom could have been crispier. My husband had the Sunday special bacon-wrapped filet which he deemed awesome. I don't think we'll make this our regular but it's definitely a nice place when you have some time. read more

Worse experience Ever it's Father's Day Dinner my family walks in and it's so HOT inside the restaurant before we get seated I'm already sweating I ask several times to turn on the AC and they made it seem like they were and they never did so finally I had enough it felt like I was still outside thats how HOT it was now I finally ask for a manger and he looked like he was adjusting the thermostat BUT it was still HOT so I got up and checked myself he never adjusted the AC and left the temperature at 79 degrees unbelievable then I question him and he said that he didn't want to put the AC Up because it could break Now if I'm spending a couple hundreds of dollars I want to be comfortable and not be sweating like a normal restaurant would be. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table and ordered a glass of wine - the bartender was super helpful in recommending a glass of wine to chose. We got a table and our waitress was SUPER attentive and helpful in making all of our selections! The bread and oil dip they bring to the table is out of this world delicious! We ended up ordering the chorizo appetizer (pictured), my fiancé got the lamb special in slices, and I got the Mariscada ... everything was so delicious!!
