I thoroughly enjoyed my time at spaceman. I went with a friend on a Thursday evening. Parking is 15.00 for valet. The night I decided to go, the valet was packed. You can opt to park across the street in the mall garage and walk over. The views on the rooftop are beautiful. If there is a rooftop... I'mma go..lol! There are two different rooftop areas, we weren't able to check out the second one, because it was reserved for a party. Our section of the rooftop had several TVs mounted to the wall, lots of seating, and food music. When it comes to the food, I wasn't too impressed. I agree with severakof the reviews rating the food a 3.0. It's ediblebut not all that good. I have the wings and fries. The fries were good, the wings were ok. The drinks on the other hand, were good. They made up for the food..lol. I read where someone said the staff dress like civilians... It's true. You really don't know who is a server unless you see them walking toward the cash register..lol, but they are all very friendly and ready to answer any questions guests had. Overall, I recommend adding this to your list. No reservations were needed, seating is first come, first serve. Good people + good vibes = A Great Night ! read more

Our waitress came over once every hour or so. And when we called over, who I think was the manager he acted like we were crazy for asking for our check and telling him our waitress hadn't been over in a really long time to check on us. The drinks came out super slow. I would say we were there for about 30 minutes before actually getting our first set of drinks. The ambience was nice but the service ruined it. I visited Spaceman this past weekend and really enjoyed the vibes. I am in my early 20's and it seemed to be a little bit of an older crowd which I didn't mind at all. The music was only early 80's/90's hip hop which was nice but I wouldn't have minded a little switch up now and again. The drinks were delicious and I also got an order of fries that were nothing to rave about. They actually tasted like they had been sitting out for a while which I wasn't the biggest fan of. The spaceman is on top of a hotel and it's a really good vibe but I really great view. As indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of different areas for you to post up and have a drink at. Of course they have a full bar, but why stay at the bar where you can sit outside on a nice night and catch a scene of the skyline. You have to make sure you make a reservation just in case, because the service is good but if they don't have seats for you then they don't have seats for you. First time I went I didn't have it reservation, and they found something for me, but it took a while so I was standing at the front desk waiting around. If there's space by the bar, I would suggest trying that. read more

This is the new hotspot in ATL for city views and vibes. I attended on a rather warm night and truly appreciated the nice city air. This was an occasion like no other, my sister's birthday. She had set reservations for about 6 guests. They honored her request and gave us optimal seating. The view of the skyline is captivating and the music was inviting. The Dj was on point. The drink menu was well thought out and the drinks were delicious. They were hosting a brewery event on the outdoor part of the roof opposite of us. They were giving away free beer tastings and marketing their new releases. The place was well occupied with plenty of people but everyone was respectable and mature. While the bartender was nice our drinks were absolutely disgusting and its hard to see how a coke and rum and tequila soda lime were tough ones to make. It was supe hot on the roof which it was a hot night but the tequila was also very warm and i couldnt drink two sips. Those two drinks were $44 they did not tell us there was a 20% gratuity on it already which was failure to disclose information and i really didnt care for either. If youre looking for a rooftop bar, theres so many alternatives to choose from that arent as egregious in cost and closer to more fun things! read more

Parking was a little difficult. If you don't valet, you can self park across the street but you have to cross a busy intersection. Not too safe. The interior design was very welcoming! You do need a reservation but you are able to get first come first serve seating on the outer patio, which is very accommodating. Unfortunately it took about 15-20 for me and my friend to figure that out. The directions given by the hostess were unclear. We sat in the wrong section on accident and were ignored by the servers out there. Finally a female server came and said "this table is reserved" then walked away. A little rude. Finally we get situated on the outer order and placed our order on our phones. I give 3 stars because the ambiance is beautiful and the food has a great flavor, but I didn't care for the service. The drinks are seriously outrageously priced. $17 for NON alcoholic cocktails, and $21-25 for cocktails. They also include gratuity on the tab but don't tell you nor do they give itemized receipts so that you can see gratuity is included. This is a shady practice. I only learned it from another patron after I paid for my first drink. I know it's a rooftop bar in buckhead so I expect high prices but theirs are excessive, and they should be upfront about tips being added to the tab. The servers / bartenders did their job just fine -- drinks were good. In no way did they do anything above taking orders and making drinks. I had the misfortune of coming here to attend a wine event recently. The service staff was mostly incompetent, starting with the hostess who did not scan my event ticket QR code, but rather looked at it and then simply told me to, "Have fun." Given that she didn't ask me about seating at all, it made it seem like there was open seating for the event. So I grabbed a drink at the bar, where another server seemed totally clueless about the drinks on offer in general, or any specific cocktails or bottles related to the event. Finally, another bartender was able to take my order and get me a glass of wine. I sat down at an open seat then where for the next hour, at least five different servers kept passing me and not stopping to check on me or ask if I wanted anything else, even as they attended to all of the other tables around me. I finally got the attention of a server, who was rude and had a nasty attitude with me telling me I needed to see the hostess for seating! Oh really? The one at the door that already didn't help me at all? That one? Also, a professional server would have known how to handle the situation with grace. If she thought I'd made a mistake with the restaurant's protocol, as a paying customer, not only do I not know how the restaurant normally handles events like that, but it was my first time going there. The server could've simply handled matters with the hostess, not refused to serve me and give me a crappy attitude. Is that how you'd want to be treated anywhere you're spending your money??? Additionally, the event was to support a female entrepreneur, but the music playing was degrading towards women and misogynistic! Everything about the service and environment felt tone deaf for dealing with customer service in a way that I still find baffling. This place has got to learn how to hire grownups for their staff and get more experienced servers to handle events. read more

Beautifully decorated rooftop that offers 360 views of downtown Atlanta and Buckhead. This experience starts from the elevator! Spaceman is perfect for pictures and it's definitely a tik tok aficionados' dream! Three different scenes the rooftop, really four including the hostess area. No review or picture will give this place justice until it's bustling with people oooing and aahing over the views and decor! Add a DJ and the signature cocktails into the mix then it's to the moon for Spaceman (no pun intended) Drinks: I recommend the Honey Crisp and Dr. Leo. They didn't have the Prado Royal but it sounds amazing! So far the cocktail menu is short and sweet, just twists on classics. Food: Again, this visit was about vibes but the mozzarella sticks and nachos looked hefty enough to keep you going after a few cocktails. Spaceman is really such a vibe. I've only went during sunset hour and again at night, both saturdays. I'm going to try out the brunch scene soon. Perfect for a girls night, also for a date night as well. There's a few different seating arrangements here. 2 outdoor patios, views everywhere. Drinks are good. Based on TikTok and me being invited to an event at this location, compelled me to visit this place. Spaceman is located in the Buckhead Hyatt Centric Hotel on the 15th floor. Spaceman is usually the place for hosting major business/social events. The event was for heavy hitter alcohol company Remy Martin and this was a networking event. Since this is located inside of a hotel, Valet parking is available for 15 dollars. I was told there was some free nearby parking however I would rely on valet parking(simply my opinion). Keep in mind this hotel is two minute away from Lenox Mall. The best part about spaceman is the beautiful scenery. It displays a breathtaking view of Atlanta's skyline. This is by far the tallest rooftop bar in Atlanta. I got an appetizer for food and the alcohol beverage which included something made by Remy Martin was pretty strong. As the night continued the place became more and more crowded. This place is ideal for summer nights having a good vibes with friends, colleagues and family. The restaurant is perched on the 15th floor of the Hyatt so the views are incredible. However, the bar is pretty cramped and the valet is overpriced. I won't be back. Apparently reservations are strongly encouraged but since I went spur of the moment, I was able to snag a seat at the bar. The view is beautiful, the bar and inside area is cute. Great area to grab a pre-drink at before a night out I would say as they close at midnight which is rather early for Atlanta. Drinks were strong, but I will say the service could have been better- we ordered some old fashioneds and when we asked about the cherry (and/or my orange peel), we sort of got scolded... not a good look from a service standpoint, but nonetheless I enjoyed my time. I went to Spaceman after work on a Wednesday . I was SHOCKED to order the Garlic shrimp which totaled for $24 including a 20% gratuity. My drink was separate. This comes with SIX PIECES of shrimp for $18 + tax with NO SIDES. This came in a tiny bowl that could fit in the palm of my hand. Also, why is hotel charging gratuity on every check ? So ghetto and classless. I came with a group and we were all super turned off from this experience. The entire menu has been updated to "small bites" for the same price as the meals they were doing before. Hyatt Centric... shame on you. This is unacceptable and tacky. Never plan to celebrate a special occasion here unless you're willing to have it cancelled last minute, with no sign of remorse or any attempt at amending the situation. After having a reservation for over two weeks, calling to ensure they could accommodate my party, sending invitations, and making a flurry of plans-- the venue cancelled all reservations the day before the event for a supposed "last minute private party." I ordered the Dirty Martini, perfection. My bartender Bella, gave outstanding service. My food choice was the Salmon dip appetizer, fresh to order. The outdoor patio during sunset is breathtaking. Spaceman rooftop restaurant is clean, great for taking selfies. Valet is pricey $$ and sometimes there's a long wait to get your car. Try using their QR code where you can pay for Valet then request your vehicle, prior to leaving ,to eliminate the long wait. Overall great experience. read more

I paid $94 in advance for a reservation only to be seated next to the door where servers come out and in all night, as well as under a speaker. As usual (why is this a thing in Atlanta?a DJ was playing shitty music at full volume, causing my Iwatch to notify me about decibel levels and hearing damage. When I checked in the host reminded me that we only could reserve the table for 2 hours but it took a good 20 mins to get 2 drinks. Our poor server had the entire dining room by herself and this girl was running! The service was good but slow due to understaffing. So for the food, meh. Can get much better elsewhere. My bill came out to $177 for a meat & cheese board, steak panini, chicken sliders and 4 speciality cocktails. I don't think this place knows who they are. It looks like a swanky and nice club with a DJ, but mediocre run of the mill bar food menu, and sports playing on the TV with good views of the city. It was just confusing. Gratuity is included. I've been here twice and enjoyed myself both times. First time, no place to sit so we sat in the waiting area where people sit to wait on their reserved tables. Cool spot to people watch. Second time we got there around 9 or so and put our names down to get a table. Wait time was unknown per the hostess which I can imagine. So we went to the bar and surprisingly a spot opened up. We ordered a couple of drinks. I asked for a paloma which isn't on the menu and a Hennessey on the rocks. The Hennessey was a nice size and strong. The paloma was in a tall glass but I'd prefer a smaller glass. Very good nonetheless. The bartender was very personable and friendly and apologized for the wait which wasn't long at all. Our food came out within 20 minutes or so. We ordered the chicken sliders w/fries and the crab dip. Both were very delicious. I can tell the chicken was made with thigh meat instead of breast which is the best part to me. We ended up moving to some seats next to the bar facing the highway. Cool view as well. Food was pricey but it's to be expected in a hotel. Everything costs more in a hotel. Would I come back? Sure! I want to say Spaceman Atlanta on a Wednesday night is definitely a vibe and a great kickoff to your night. The views on the 15th floor are unmatched. The best views in Atlanta. The service is exceptional and the drinks are strong. The prices are fair being that this is a hotel bar and there are signature drinks. Everything is expected to be expensive at a hotel bar and I think people tend to forget that. The djs play some of the best music and its not overbearing or too loud to where I am screaming or yelling. I can still have a conversation with someone. There is no smoke, no cigar smoke, no cigarette smoke, no hookah which is a plus. There is a strict dress code which is even better, because it gives a classy, professional vibe. There is a cover charge of only $20 but that is not bad for the experience. You never know who you will meet there, it could be your future spouse or business partner or maybe both. Overall, it is a great time on Wednesdays. Something Atlanta definitely needs and I am sure something people appreciates. I know I do and will be back again.
