I visited this location for the first time with some associates of mine. The vibe of this location was very upscale and relaxing. One thing I particularly noticed was the size of the barstool chairs. They allotted enough space between guests and created a bar experience with plenty of personal space. We ordered drinks and for food I ordered the Empanadas. I write this review reluctantly because I want to keep this gem all to myself. It's hard to find anything wrong with establishment I must say. If I could give the vibe 6 starts I would - they have the best view in Atlanta. The service was excellent as well. Surprisingly, I tried the hot dog & it was absolutely terrific. I did have them remove the Dijon Mustard because it was too strong/spicy but once they did that this was possibly the best hot dog I've ever had (Chicago included). This is the perfect place for a date night. I will definitely reach out to them to plan an event for my company there. This will be one of the hottest places in Atlanta mark my word. Ambiance-would probably be nice, if I actually got to sit at a table that I reserved, but that didn't happen. Food-never ordered any since I didn't have a table to sit at. Service-hot trash outside of a QuikTrip gas station off the 475, south of Fort Valley, GA. Read the whole story below if you have time. Otherwise, just take my word for it, it ain't worth your time or money. I went for a bday party in which the bday person made reservations... I get there and they tell me even tho I have reservations, they're at capacity and that I have to register via QR code and they'd text me when I could go up... So I obliged and waited outside, never being told that I could wait at the bar or sit inside, I asked after seeing someone who registered after me walk right on in... Once the guest of honor got there I explained the situation and he said how about we just try to go up bc some of his guests are already up there, so that's what we did. By this time an hour has passed... COOL, we in, let's have a good time. Try to get drinks at the outside bar. As we are 2 ppl away from the bar, we hear the bartender say "we're closed. At this time, it's about 10:20-10:30. Why they closed that early, but still allow patrons to be inside the establishment, is a head scratcher for me lol. So we go to the other bar and here's why I'll never go back... The bartender in front of me, never makes eye contact with me or acknowledges me so I gave up on him, I turn to the female bartender in which she seemed much more engaging and I would much rather tip her than the other guy for that reason... The guy next to me also said he got the same treatment from that other bartender and that the female had just taken his order seconds before I got there. Now although she was more engaging, she still was not taking my order. She finished his order and gave him a receipt, took his drink and left. Another guy stood in his place to attempt to put in HIS order. By this time, about 20 min have passed and I haven't gotten my drink however, a friend at the other end of the bar got HIS. The bartender is now purposely ignoring me and the guy next to me, she begins lallygagging, fidgeting with things around the bar then all of a sudden, she says "we're closed!" Never once did she let me or any other ppl at the bar know that they were going to be cutting off orders or anything, just an abrupt "WE CLOSED" and that was it. I said my goodbyes and got tf up outta there. I'm cool off that spot. They get one star but honestly they owe ME a few stars for dealing with this BS! read more

Beautiful decor, the drinks were good, and the bartenders were very friendly. They had a DJ that was playing pretty good music. I didn't eat any food, and there's not a whole lot on the menu. Upon arrival, the host put me in the corner where I couldn't see anything, even though I had a reservation ($15 fee) to sit outside. She claimed that many large parties were coming in and the tables were reserved. She returned a few minutes later and offered to let me sit outside in the "self-serve" area where you have to get up and get your drinks. If the servers can bring food out there, they should be able to bring your drinks out there. When I left all of the tables were still pretty empty. The view is just okay. read more

First spaceman has a beautiful view and the decor is great. I absolutely loved it. The bigger issue was the way in which they do business. I had a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a large party. We arrived only to learn that the reserved table was given to someone else because they liked it. That someone else didn't have a reservation. I will say they adapted but we had to stand around waiting for 20 minutes for it to be handled. Then came the service. You have to order and pay for one drink at a time. There is no open tab at the bar with a card hold or even a server to take orders. It was so frustrating. Then add on top that our drinks were made poorly. One drink tasted like nail polish removed, we were overcharged for things we didn't order. If they could fix the service side, I think it would be a top notch place. read more

I've been wanting to check this place out. It's on top of the Hyatt at Lenox. We decided to go on a Friday night. It was really busy, but the host was very helpful and patient getting us seated. If you plan to go on a weekend night, you will probably have to wait like we did. The wait wasn't bad though because there's a bar/restaurant in the hotel lobby to wait at. The view was beautiful once we got up there and honestly that was the best part. Service could've been a little better, but again it was really busy. Great ambiance and dj (wed evening). The reason for 4 and not 5 star is the misleading pricing of their drinks. Seems deceitful in the way the leave prices off their drinks only to find you're paying $23 for a basic martini and $10 for a can beer. Parking is valet and was 15 bucks on a Saturday night. You pay through an app. Some people park across the street in Bloomidales garage...me personally I like a safer aspect. This particular night they were charging an additional $15 to get inside of the rooftop from my understanding there typically is no charge during the week they had an event sponsored by Remy Martin, where your $15 admission afforded you a free drink-the night was very relaxing, and they scenery is very beautiful. This is a wonderful place to come with yourself or with a group or with a date. The only thing I did not like is that if you found a seat, they would not let you order food at your seat you had to order it from the bar, which was very difficult due to the capacity of people in the facility. They need to work on that. They also need to work on allowing more reservations and accommodations for people. There was a lot of confusion at the door as to who had reservations and who didn't so we stood in the very tight breezeway waiting to be admitted into spaceman. I will go during the week and during the day so that I can experience it in a different more controlled environment. I did not order food because they were not accommodating at all if you did not have a reservation. read more

Horrible mediocre place, came for the view and the ambiance but left disappointed. Food is trash and the cocktails even more trash. Old fashioned tasted like it was shaken in a tin with no bitters or demerara. Hosts looked miserable and like they didn't want to be there.
