But their process for selling a major component borders on incompetence. I bought a new DE filter to replace an aging canister. The new filter required a multi-port valve, so I bought one of those, too. Leslie's could not schedule installation until after these items were delivered to the job site. Perhaps that is understandable, but it introduced a week of delay. A better solution would have been for the installer to bring the new filter and valve to the job site. When the Leslie's installer arrived, he complained that the staff at the store didn't know what they were doing and should not have sold me the filter without doing a pre-site inspection, and that he did not have the parts necessary to perform the installation. Instead of ordering the parts, he gave me a handwritten piece of paper and told me I had to go back to the store and buy the parts. He left without doing any work. But (surprise!) the store did not have the parts. This is not something arcane or expensive - it's just a coupling and literally every pool in the world requires couplings to install filters, heaters, cleaners, etc. Leslie's had to order the couplings, which will have to be shipped to the job site, introducing even more delay. Why doesn't Leslie's carry these little things in inventory on the truck? Now Leslie's informs me that the order for the couplings is delayed, so in the hottest time of the year I can't get my filter upgraded and must wait (how long?) for some little PVC part to show up, then I must reschedule the installation (how long?) and wait for the installer to show up. Taken together, this experience has been something nearly opposite of "customer service." A more competent approach might be available from a more professional pool service company. If you're thinking of buying an major component that requires installation by a pool technician, my advice is to ask a lot of questions about the process and timelines before you commit your money!

I reached out to the team at Dolphin Pools Services and they fixed the pump so much sooner. After it was repaired they asked if there was any other support we needed. They came out to assist with cleaning the pool, removing all the dead algae as our pool turned green and helped balance our chemicals. We appreciate that gesture and their willingness to address some of our concerns. While our original experience and the delays remain unchanged, it is only fair to acknowledge their effort to make things better. After more than six weeks, our pool liner project is still not complete because Millennium Pools has measured the liner incorrectly multiple times. We are now waiting for a third liner and hoping it finally fits. To make matters worse, the company removed our old liner and left our pool empty and without a liner for two weeks while we wait for the replacement. What should have been a routine liner installation has turned into a lengthy and frustrating process. The company has offered no discount or compensation for the delays, inconvenience, or loss of use of our pool, despite the fact that the mistakes were entirely their own. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company and expected better service, communication, and accountability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Millennium Pools.

This recreation center is located in Dale City on Minnieville Rd. During the weekends you'll see the pool taken over by youth swim lessons. The deck is very small/narrow. When walking you might bump into a lifeguard walking and doing their job on the deck. It feels tight. There are no high bleachers so come early to find a good spot to watch from. They do have benches surrounding the pool on the deck. The center is an older center but has all your basic needs. Locker rooms don't appear the cleanest but has showers. The shower water goes from warm to cold when more than 1 or 2 are using it. This location also has a preschool with a small playground on site.
