She always seems to know exactly what I need. Phoebe is very knowledgeable about her field, and I would consider her an expert. My 11 year old daughter has recently been experiencing severe growing pains. She started seeing Phoebe about 4 weeks ago. It has been one of the few things that give her relief from the chronic pain. I can't recommend Spa Phoebe enough. Drop what you're doing and make an appointment. Scheduling: Spa Phoebe uses online scheduling (YESSSS!). Their system was easy to use and took the pain out of a task that I do not enjoy. I was able to get a next day appointment which was an added bonus. Environment: So soothing and cozy. The spa is clean, well appointed, and friendly. As soon as I entered, I started to relax. There was a sweet, yellow lab there who greeted me. What a warm welcome. :) The treatment room I was in was great. The bed was heated, there was soothing music playing. Treatment: I had scheduled an eye brow wax as my treatment. My aesthetician, Kimberly is warm, professional, and highly skilled. I walked in with messy brows and walked out with killer brows. The transformation was so good that we both agreed that we should have taken before and after photos. Next time! Other treatments: I learned that Kimberly also offers facials. She carefully explained all of the products she uses and how she tailors her facials to her customers needs - including identifying different needs for different zones on a person's face. Her products are natural with no artificial scents, and cruelty free. I can't wait to schedule a facial along with my next wax. There are also a wide variety of wrap and massage options. It's fun to look at all of the services on their website and imagine a dream day of various treatments. Location: Great location with easy access to the bus and parking AND best of all, there's a nail salon on the same block so it's like one stop shopping for a make over day. After visiting Spa Phoebe, I got a pedicure, and then wandered up to the junction for dinner. A dreamy Saturday I hope to repeat again soon. read more

I have been to see many masseuses over the years. After having a massage with Phoebe, I was hooked. I have not gone to see anyone else for the last 12 years. I am very thankful to have found her. She loves what she does and it shows. She is extremely knowledgeable and always manages to find a knot or two (or lets be honest lots and lots). Even though she is tough on them, I still manage to fall asleep. She is keeping strict health protocols with COVID and ensures everyone's health and safety above everything else. You can book online, always a plus and usually greeted by a sweet yellow lab, so I get my puppy fix too. My massage by Shannon was one of the best I've ever had. I was experiencing extreme Sciatic issues and when the massage was over they had disappeared. The atmosphere of the spa was soothing and lovely and Shannon could not have been a more kind and was an excellent masseuse. Phoebe was amazing! This was my first experience with lymphatic drainage massage and I wasn't sure what to expect. Phoebe was great at explaining what she was doing and why, the massage itself was very enjoyable, and she gave me some stretches and self-massage to do at home. I also felt very safe with the COVID protocols the spa had in place. Love this place. have had two massages and two waxing appointments here. It's so easy to book with the online tool, which I prefer. The staff is friendly, warm and welcoming. It's so nice to have a local place in the neighborhood that offers a great service at a great price. it's small and quaint but that's what I appreciate about it. I have never left a review on Yelp before, but I felt compelled to leave one after getting a massage at Spa Phoebe. Spa Phoebe was the best massage experience I have ever had! My husband bought me the massage as a birthday gift and the day before the massage I got a phone call asking if I would like to change my 45 min massage to a 60 min one because they had the time! Of course I said yes! When I arrived, Phoebe took me into the massage room and began the appointment with a relaxing foot rub/soak. We discussed focus areas, oil scents, and pressure preferences. After that, we began the massage and it was perfect!! When the 60 min massage was over, Phoebe gave me time to relax and slowly transition out of the massage and she even left water and a snack in the room for me! What a wonderful massage! This place is quaint and you start to relax the minute you walk through the door. You can see and feel the attention to detail. The massage appointment starts off with foot soak/rub and after, your worries fade away once your body hits the warm and comfy massage table. I recently went to Spa Phoebe for the first time and my massage with Ardena was amazing! She was very nice and thoughtful. At the beginning of the appointment, after I explained where I had a lot of tension, she walked through what her plan was and asked if I was okay with cupping. I love cupping so this was a pleasant surprise! Throughout the massage she continued to ask how the pressure was and before using anything extra (heating pad, hot towel, hot stones) which I really appreciated. My massage was great and very relaxing. The whole space was clean and calming. The massage table was comfortable and there was a down comforter over the sheet which I thought was a nice touch. At the end of the massage she left me a glass of water and light snack while I changed. I really appreciated all of the little things that made my experience exceptional. The next day the owner of the spa (Phoebe) sent me an email requesting feedback to make sure I had a good experience which I thought was great! I will definitely be booking with Ardena again. read more

I have been going to Phoebe for nearly 14 years and not only is she one of those earnestly sweet people in life, she is remarkably intuitive in massage. I have a six inch rod in my lower back & have had two surgeries fusing vertebrae in my neck. Over the years I've had numerous injuries and I can always depend on Phoebe to help me feel better.
