Went there with my wife today for a couples massage! It was great ,and came out feeling revived

Came here for a couples massage and left in a Lot of pain. Masseuse was not gentle at all. I had to physically move his hand several times because he was pushing too hard. I had bruising and a red back for days after the massage. I don't like to speak negatively about new businesses but this was my honest experience. I left in a lot of pain even after repeatedly asking for him to go softer. On the other hand, my fiancé had a great experience lol. So I guess there are some good ones and some bad ones that work there. Up to you if you're willing to take the chance! read more

Never going back!!! Tom is the only one I would trust. Totally ridiculous. They have no clue how to massage a muscle, their ignorance is In fact physically damaging!! --the first employee was digging her elbow into my ribs--She didn't speak English, so I had to yell at her to stop and demand another employee who was also clueless. Shut these sham places down! Someone is going to get seriously injured due to their negligence. My dang rib is sore, why would they massage a bone? I'm naming names LuLu and Peggy! read more

Nice, clean, quiet place to destress for a couple of hours. My fiancé and I go once a week

AVOID THIS PLACE! It's cheap, but not worth it in the slightest! I agree with many other reviewers saying the masseurs are extremely hard and rough. I, too, had major pains and neck cramps the day after my massage. I told my masseur during the massage that it was too hard. I prefer deep, strong massage with plenty of pressure. However, I'm not sure anyone here knows what they are doing. Its actually dangerous. They are hurting people. I have had foot reflexology and back massage from here and was hoping for a nice massage. I live near by and get massage treatment often. I have given the place the benefit of doubt, going there 4 times and they are always TOO HARD and painful massages. No technique what so ever. As I was getting a foot massage a woman came in and asked for a chair massage. As she was receiving her massage she was also shouting out in pain and saying that it was too hard. Besides the terrible quality of massage I was also repeated solicited during my foot massage to opt for only 30 min foot and try 30 minute back massage as well. Two separate visits they kept trying to up sell me to a different massage. I had to tell them 3-4 times. NO! I'm not interested. Last but not least, one of the masseurs sat in the front and ate his food which was very pungent food while I was getting my foot massage. Very tacky. This place will not last. It's a shame. I would love a good foot reflexology clinic near by! read more

A great and affordable Asian style massage spot in the neighborhood. Clean and spacious. No frills. I think it's a little cheaper when you pay with cash. Takes appointments over the phone. Really liked the music they play throughout as well. read more

Favorite massage place. Service is great, massage is awesome and the place is nice and clean!

I have been going there for years. Great Foot and Back Rubs. The place is spotless and the people are very pleasant. The Hot Stones top off a Great Massage. Get Lulu or Jen Advice call for appointment. read more

I can't believe how amazing this place is. Read the reviews plenty of times but I was hesitant, then my lower back gave out and I needed a fix! I am VERY tense and therapist actually went as hard as I needed (that never happens). You really can't beat the price for how amazing the services are. It's very clean and I highly highly recommend! read more

Nice and calming massage. I loved it :)

I was just walking by to go see a movie last Sunday and Spa Palace had an A sign outside that caught my eye. I stopped for a second to read it and a gentleman came out inquiring if I had any questions or if I was interested in a foot massage. Happily I went in thinking that I could use a decent reflexology. Well I had much more than that when u met Cici. She had strong hands, which is just the way I like, and her deep tissue massage was absolutely amazing. I'll be going back weekly Went back Sunday n saw Paul as cici was busy, but I was not sorry, he was magical with the reflexology. read more

First impression, was the cleanliness of the place. Once I entered I was greeted and asked what services I wanted. The people there were really friendly and services was great with good prices, definitely recommend this place! read more

This place is excellent! Clean, spacious and very affordable. Definitely coming back again

I couldn't move my neck this morning and now I feel almost good as new from a 20 min massage - Tom here is a magic man. Absolutely love this place read more

Nice new clean spot, running a $45 for 60 min special, relieved a lot of my pain. Will come back.

I came here for a quick massage because of the head pressure I was having from flying in from California. I don't live in the area so I was praying to get some relief and Tom delivered! I felt so much better and it felt great, he also got some knots out which was a little rough but it felt good at the same time. My boyfriend's massage therapist was great too though we didn't catch his name. Highly recommend if you need something quick or want a full on 90 minute! Thank you! read more

I just got a 90 min massage and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. He just worked out every knot. I feel amazing and I plan to make this a monthly visit! Definitely recommend!!! read more

This was my fourth time here now and enjoyed it every time. The space is new, clean, relaxing and friendly! Most of all, you can't beat the prices! I've had a different person each time and they were all great. I highly recommend! read more

I hope Sia will read this review and let me know where she went! I was going to her weekly. My last visit I got a different masseur. He was good and I recommend Spa Palace to anyone who is looking for true professionalism. However, when I asked about Sia, nobody knew what to say. It was very disappointing to find out she is no longer a part of that team. I really hope the management team will alert her that she has clients hoping to track her down. read more

Had an one hour foot massage with shally and it was amazing . The place is nice, clean, and quiet . Not that busy. Everyone was friendly .

I've been going here since they opened. Very clean, friendly, really talented team. Great prices and rarely have to wait. It's my favorite in Greenpoint hands down, I go probably once a week! read more

I went for a massage and cupping. It was a great massage and reasonably priced. The place can be a bit loud and noise travels easily, but again, its a good price. Some of the masseuses don't speak much English, so it can be hard to communicate, but they seem very skilled and professional. I would recommend this place if you are looking for something affordable! read more

I was in need for a massage and the place i usually go too is still closed so I decided to find somewhere that was open and after reading many good reviews decided go try this place. They were very nice, the place was clean and quiet. I saw amy and omg she was great!!! I had so much tension in my neck and shoulders and after leaving I felt 100% better!! I wil definitely be back and can't wait for my next appointment! read more

The place is nice and clean which is why I gave 2 stars. But the service is horrible. For the first 30 minutes of my massage I was poked all over my body over the towel with her elbow. After using oil on my body I thought she would use her hands and show me her good technique. NO, she used her forearm and elbow the WHOLE TIME! I was so angry but I can't complain to someone with no technique because they are simply not skilled. After spending the entire time on my upper back she asks me if I'd like to add more time. So I asked her if she was going to do my legs and she said yes but she just wanted to know how to spread the time. Are you kidding me. When she did my legs which COMMON sense the muscles are bigger so go a little stronger, she used her hands but like she was petting a pUppy. No pressure at all. I don't know how this place has 4 stars but I'm starting to lose my faith in yelp. DISAPPOINTED! Oh and we tipped 20% so they know we are not cheap but they will never get that from us again. read more

I left there with a lot of back pain.i lost my time and money and got pain!!! It doesn't make sense. And I got 1 hour massage and masseur always asked me that you need more masssage so wanna purchase 10 mins more !!! Excuse me!! you can have clean place but you don't have any craft for massage !!! read more

Wouldn't recommend. Not only do they not comprehend English well, they don't follow directions. I went for a back massage and had to ask the woman 4 times to calm down because she was so rough. The first two times she ignored me completely. And another man further away overheard and had to tell her that im saying something. Then she didn't do my back at all. Only my neck and shoulders when I said to do those two and my back. Disappointing esp when you really needed to relax and get a massage. Never again. read more

Amazing. ShiShi is the best; a true miracle worker. They offer the punchcard too for a freebie.

I just get a amazing bodywork here! The worker call Tom did professional deep tissue for me and he is really nice person always make a good pressure on my painful place. I feel my body get a renew after the bodywork. This Service is worth it. It's really pretty and cleaning Spa here. Also there is twenty percent off with the price. Sounds great!!! read more

Thank you Sian and Kevin, it was a nice experience last Saturday, we are for sure coming back soon!!!

Today I got a neck and shoulder chair massage from Tom, he is incredible! I have very bad headaches and came in with one today, but left feeling a million times better. He used hard pressure which I liked and released a ton of tension in my neck. I will definitely be back! read more

Was not expecting how good this place was ! I was taking a stroll down the avenue and stumbled upon Spa Palace . Upon walking inside the place I was greeted with a fairly warm welcome . In addition to that I didn't have a reservation and they made sure to get me a placement very quickly anyways . I received a massage from a man named Tom who has been a masseuse for 20+ years ! He talked calmly to me throughout my massage helping me relax and enjoy . I would definitely recommend others to stop by and experience the fantastic massages they give here. read more

Honestly, after leaving I questioned whether I should have asked for a deep tissue massage. My husband and I were beat up! In a good way. I'm on day 3 not and most of my knots are all gone! I can't believe I had so much. I tend to tighten and put stress on my shoulders, especially when I am in cold weather. Happy we decided to come here and go through the beating lol. read more

I went in today because I had visited this place a few months back and really liked my 1hr session with Lucas. I went in today to have the same service 30 mins back rub with 30 foot. I had someone else named lulu no biggie however she was rushing through the session. I know for a fact she didn't do 30 mins on my feet because upon arrival there was an older couple there and they were getting foot rubs and they still were sitting when I got up. Someone sat next to me she was with a friend and asked them in their language if she was going to be long because she wanted to sit next to her friend she said maybe 5 more minutes so I got a total of maybe 20 mins or less of the foot rub. It honestly felt really rushed. And they kept Looking at me. I felt sort of uncomfortable. The back massage was ok. The foot rub sucked! She barely did anything. I also felt I was a bit discriminated against because of the community that goes there. I'm not one to complain and I work just as hard and equally as everyone else does, therefore I tipped her more 20% because that is her job and to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. But I definitely wasn't happy with todays Service. The guy at the front desk though was super friendly and sweet. It just sucked because I was looking forward to the "relaxing" experience and I have recommended this place to family and friends so it would be a bummer if this is no longer the go to place. read more

This place is amazing. Real Chinese massage. The type that leaves your sore and you drink lots of water and feel it all working through you. It is also super clean and comfy with the legit good vibes. I saw Tom and have no regrets. Got the punch card and plan to return. read more

If you're looking for a deep massage to work through some serious stuff in your body, Tom is your dude. I have years' worth of work/athletic/general life tension to work through, and I know that's not going to a pleasant process. So this is the kind of massage I'm looking for - it's definitely not relaxing and I'm sore for a few days, but it's working through all that stuff, and at a price that allows me to come on a regular schedule. read more

This place was amazing. I had found a mausse that was great. But when the young girls are behind the counter they treat the customers like dirt. I went in today and asked for my regular massage with my regular mausse and I was told she had gone back to China. Would I be willing to try someone else. I said okay and then the counter girl tried to "upswell" me. She said I would need a longer time than what I had asked for. So I left with no massage. Twenty minutes later I was walking by and there in the window was the woman I had asked for. Had she returned from China so quickly? I want to be clear here the review is not about the mausse but rather about the clerk at the front desk. Arrogant and condensing and to boot a liar. Please note that none of this happens when the middle aged gentlemen is working the front desk, he treats the customers with respect and does not lie to their faces. Pretty sad because I was going twice a week for a massage and I was really loving it. Needless to say I won't be going back. Here is what the owner replied which proves my point exactly: Nasty to the Customers!!! Instead of trying to correct the issue she continues to be NASTY!!!! Dear customers, you never do massage today but give one star review today. You are so HUMOR.Thank you for leaving all the one star reviews on Yelp. I don't know which employee you're looking for. I think you've got the wrong person. If the employee you want is in the store, what reason do we have to keep her from serving you? After all, whoever serves you is a business, and no boss is going to push the business out of the house. read more

My boyfriend and I went for a couple's massage. They did such a wonderful job with us both. They were timely, professional, and clean. We both said we would be back! read more

Love this place! Been coming here on regular basis for the past 6 months. Prices are reasonable and the place is very clean! I highly recommend! read more

I really wanted to like this place but the guy I was assigned (I asked for a strong guy) was not the most experienced and gave a hesitant but competent massage. The type that gives you a bit of a headache if you are the type who takes super deep torture massages regularly. He'd be perfect for the other reviewer below who complained the guys they got gave them deeper massages than they could handle. Its luck of the draw! I'd have loved their tough guy. Too bad. read more

I came here once with a sore neck, and now try to make it a priority to go once a month. Every room is VERY CLEAN, and all the therapists are extremely professional. I recommend this to anyone needing a good back massage in Greenpoint! read more
