This place is super creepy everytime I go they either are booked ( place is empty btw) all workers are in the front. They apparently only do hour massages only ! And u apparently have to call to make an appointment I sent my guy friend right after me and they took him with no problem after telling me nobody was available from 4-5, I wasn't offered to book an appointment for another day or anything. We used their facility once before and it seemed pretty run down although it was dark and we got face down pretty quickly. The massages were good and reasonably priced. We called and reserved a couples massage for New Years Eve day and were excited to get loose but when we showed up, they had no record of our reservation and had no one available for another 45 minutes. The guy at the front desk spent the whole conversation making excuses for whoever didn't write down our reservation. He didn't offer us any kind of consolation or attempt to bring us back another time. I have no patience for businesses that don't have proper customer service, so we left, never to return. read more

I have been a customer here for the past seven years and have built a good relationship with one of the managers. However, my today's experience (03. 07.2025) was beyond disappointing. I had an appointment for myself and a coworker, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we arrived late. I acknowledged the delay, apologized, and even offered compensation for the inconvenience. Despite this, the manager in charge was unprofessional, addressing the issue in front of staff and clients in a way that felt unnecessary and inappropriate. I was coming every week for one hour, and tip 35% Given the way this situation was handled, I will not be returning or recommending this business unless an apology is made. OW! Technique was elbow into my bones-not muscles-over a towel then just straight onto my body with no lotion or oil. I can tolerate a lot of pressure and I came in specifically for a huge tension knot in my left shoulder/neck--I had to point it out to her because the original "back massage" didn't relieve it at all, it was like she was avoiding the area. She finally used a very cold lotion and I thought maybe she'd work the knot out a little but instead she pounded her thumb into it like a jackhammer while basically choking my neck. I finally just asked her to move to my feet because I had specified a 50 minute back/neck and feet massage and she hadn't done them yet. All of 1 minute on my feet. I had asked her not to touch my scalp/hair and it was probably a translation issue because she ended up doing my scalp twice. They're cash only so I went to their $.99 atm (appreciate the low fee) pulled out $60 for the $50 massage and planned to leave a 15% tip even though I was very unsatisfied but I'm not an asshole. I handed the front desk man the $60 and he said "and $10 for her, yes?" I asked for the change, planning to leave $8 and he handed me a $10. I ask for a $5 and 5 $1s. He looks at me confused and he says "Tip is 20%" I look at their menu board and there is no 20% tip noted-if there was it'd be rude but still I checked- I said "no, tip is what I feel it should be" and he looked at me shocked. I ended up leaving $5 for his insinuating I should leave 20% automatically. Price of service is price of service tip is earned based on quality of service that I did not feel I received so honestly I feel like I shouldn't have left anything at all. I am more sore than when I went in to this place. Zero stars. read more

This spa looked like it would be a great experience. It was not. My masseuse was the worst. The massage itself wasn't bad, it was her technique that was horrible. She kept knocking the side of my head with her arms while massaging my back, like an extremely awkward teenager. She didn't know how to control her arm movements. I had to tell her NUMEROUS times in the beginning to quit bumping my head & she got an attitude accompanied also by sighs. She finally got her act together. I honestly don't think she was trained professionally. I compare the experience to a poorly written article. The topic of the article is apparent, but the grammar & delivery of ideas are horrendous. You'd rather read the same topic by someone else who's ideas are executed in a clear & concise manner (Hence, why I will not be going back to this place). When the massage was done, I saw the sign at the front desk saying that tip has to be a minimum of $10. Extremely tacky. I've told people to steer clear of this establishment. I can tolerate a lot of massages and do like more pressure sometimes when I need it, but the massage I got here was just straight painful. The techniques he used didn't even seem correct from the massages I've had, he used his elbow and forearm the entire time with way too much pressure. I couldn't wait for it to be over because it was unbearable. When I left I was thinking okay maybe it'll help more than I expected from the pain, but I woke up today and my entire body is in pain and bruised in certain places. So feeling worse than when I went in. He also was pulling my arms way to high up at the end, exposing my entire chest, and being a woman was definitely not comfortable with that. I will NOT be going back here and do not recommend it to anyone unless you're looking to test your pain tolerance. Dropped in here with my husband for a massage on a random Sunday afternoon while strolling around Brooklyn. It was the coldest day of the year, so we wanted to opt for a warm and comforting activity, what better than a massage? The spa was ready to immediately receive both of us. Fantastic Massage! I received a massage gift certificate and was both excited and a little worried. I had been reading about some of the spas offered on groupon and amazon local etc, and heard a few of them were simply terrible. It is hard to tell sometimes without actually visiting the place. Bedford N6 is new so they only have a couple reviews which made me skeptical. Never fear! The spa is very clean and professional. I was greeted by friendly staff and shown to the room immediately. They have a little closet in which to put your things to keep them safe, which was nice and the bed was heated! My Masseuse was perfect. She found my trouble areas immediately and spent a lot of time on the knots. She asked if the pressure was alright, but other than that, worked her magic in quiet. I received a full 60 minute, complete body massage and really feel like she focused on where I needed it most - and without me having to say anything. She even used hot stones for a little in the end! The only reason I did not give N6 a 5th star was because the walls between the rooms have a space at the top so I could hear the loud person next to me describe where she was sore and why over and over. I heard laugher and chatter from at least one staff member and then too much about this other clients aches and pains... it was distracting, but that does not mean that my actual massage was not heaven. Money well spent! My fiancé raves about the massages he gets from Cindy so I had to give her a try. She was amazing, it's like she was in tune with my body. She worked out all of my knots and tension. She's strong and applied great pressure. She made sure I was comfortable and asked if I was ok throughout the massage. I was totally relaxed from my head to my toes. She was truly worth every penny. Now, I showed up at 11:15 because, they're supposed to open at 11:30, and to give myself time to find parking (luckily right out front). At 11:30 I headed to the stairs to make sure they were open before I paid the meter. The gate was locked and the spa was dark, clearly closed. I had patience this day so I sat and waited, called, no answer. Called again at 11:40, 11:45, no answer. Finally someone answered at 11:52 and said they open at 12. I told him it says 11:30 online. He said yes but we're cleaning and asked me to wait 10 min. This lack of punctuality is why I took away one star. I only waited because Cindy came highly recommended. read more

I called Bedford N6 Spa and was able to get an appointment within a few hours that same night. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was fantastic. She even used hot stones for no up-charge. Definitely a bit less traditional than I'm used to, but the place was super clean and did the trick. My one gripe is that there's only a thin curtain instead of a door on the massage room and the last 10 minutes of my massage there was a guest that was talking very loudly in the main area, which was followed by some of the employees talking at the same noise level. It was a bit disruptive. Overall it was great and less than half of what I typically pay. I'll be back! read more

A perfectly acceptable Asian massage joint in the heart of it on Bedford. I usually go to Greenway on South 6th, but definitely have been known to stop by this spot when in need of a quick chair or table massage. My general rule of thumb is that if a place charges a $1 a minute or less, it's a pretty damn great deal. Keep in mind that for those kinds of prices, you're not going to get a plush spa experience, but probably just bare stalls where you can hear other clients and employees talking (though they do blast a lot of Enya on loop to get you in the spiritual mood). It's always a bit of a crapshoot to get the perfect massage therapist and I haven't gone enough times to identify a favorite yet, but for the most part they have done a good job with giving enough pressure, and covering all of the most important parts of the neck/shoulder/back. Most recently I had a 30 minute chair massage, which was just out in the hallway, and the pressure was a bit light, but overall I come out of there feeling like knots have been worked out. Of course, if you want something cheaper you can always head to Chinatown or if you want to pay crazy amount of money for the full spa experience, you can head to The Spa at Mandarin Oriental. My masseuse (I think her name was Monica) was so attentive and wonderfully aggressive--just the right amount of pressure that crushed my muscles. Bedford N6 Body Work is amazing. My boyfriend and I have tried out many of these walk in kind of spas and this is hands down the best one! Ambient environment, receptionist is courteous and polite, phone is not ringing during service and bathroom is sparkling clean. Every technician we've seen has been awesome. They are well trained and very thorough. Each time we have been they use hot stones and a hot towel during the one hour massage. Can't say enough good things about this place. This place is not a "spa". There is not a fancy ambiance and the massage rooms don't even have doors (there are curtains). There aren't comfy sheets on the massage table or any blankets to pull over you. There is a large(ish) towel that will cover you and that's it. That being said, most of the time I want a massage to help my body feel better, not for all the cushy extras that come with a spa. This place reminded me of the massage places I went to in Thailand - clean but bare bones, inexpensive, gets the job done, makes you feel healthier. I ended up getting a 90 minute massage for about 69 bucks on a Groupon. I will definitely be back on a regular basis. read more

I got a massage here today. I used a Groupon which was $45 for an hour long massage. I was a little disappointed because when I got there I saw they're "having a grand opening special" where the hour massage has been knocked down from $70 to $50. This place has been open for a while so I feel like I got jipped on my Groupon. The atmosphere could use some work. The walls are very thin with curtains actually separating massage tables in some parts. You could here male employees talking to each other in another room which made it a little difficult to relax. That aside, the massage itself was very good. The masseuse did an excellent job. I have no complaints about the actual massage and would recommend it if that's all you're looking for. So I got a Groupon, 60 min for $43 dls, got there earlier and they were ready for me, my masseuse was great, the hot stone at the end was awesome, I'm not giving 3 starts because of 3 things I was kind of annoyed; 1.- A male employee, maybe the owner or receptionist was on the phone and was being loud in a different language. 2.- the music was not addecuate at all and then there was no music so that takes me to number 3.- walls are thin so when there's no music sounds between rooms are louder and the person next to my room was enjoying a lot the massage.
