So I really think I may have a different experience at this place if it's hadn't been Christmas day... unfortunately it didn't feel like we had a regular day. They were running about 25 minutes late which I understand happens but our massages were supposed to be 60 minutes but they were closer to 40. I tried to talk to them about it but they kept saying they used a timer, if they did it wasn't set to 60. I had texted my son before we started and when they finished it had been about 35 of massage time. The massage was very very strong. I used to think this place was worth coming back to for the massages, but after how I was treated, I'm done. Back in September 2024, I called to book an hour massage. Lisa said no openings, then called back 10 minutes later saying she had an opening in 15 minutes. I told her I'd be there in 20, and she said "okay." I arrive exactly 20 minutes later, only to be told she gave the spot to a walk-in. No call, no warning. I drove there for nothing. She called a week later to apologize and offered 20% off my next massage. Fast forward to recently. I call to book -- she says no openings today, call tomorrow. I call the next day -- no answer. I call five more times over the next week -- no answer. Thinking maybe their phone was broken, I show up in person. Lisa is in the middle of a massage. Two customers are waiting. She sees me, turns around, and walks back into the room without saying a word. Her coworker comes out, tells me today's booked and tomorrow "might be booked" too. Then another coworker casually drops, "She always picks up the phone unless customers did something wrong -- then she blocks them." Excuse me? I had done nothing wrong. To test it, one of the waiting customers calls the spa number -- the phone rings inside Lisa's room. I immediately call the same number -- nothing rings. That's when it hit me: I was blacklisted and blocked without explanation. They didn't even try to deny it. They just walked away and ignored me. The massages themselves might be fine, but no business should treat paying customers like this -- lying, blocking calls, refusing to explain, and wasting people's time. If this is how they "manage" their schedule, I can only imagine what else goes on behind the scenes. read more

Went in for tension in my neck and shoulders and I left feeling light as a feather. I was a bit sore the next day but third day I'm feeling SOOO much better. I believe it was the owner who massaged me and she hit all the pressure points. It hurt so good. They barely asked me about what services or type of massage I wanted before brusquely herding me to a room and demanding me to take off my clothes when I asked for a shoulder massage...not a full body. I've been here maybe 5 times and all experiences have been phenomenal. There was an awful Karen who came in today and completely ruined the vibe for a few minutes. She wanted a 15 minute foot massage right that second and they were busy. She demanded an appointment for the next day but that's not how this place flies; they only take same-day appointments and keep track of all of them in their heads - which honestly is an amazing system since it ensures that they never get completely booked up from people reserving ahead of time. Graham Spa is the BEST place in NYC to get an effective massage, it is the only spa I will go to after visiting countless spas around NYC for years. It was eye-opening to me that expensive massages I was paying for at other places were not worth it, because the techniques the masseuses use at Graham Spa are unparalleled. I'd much rather come here and get all my knots out, sometimes it gets kind of painful but that's how you know the knots will be gone. I once came here unable to bend my back and after the session, I gained full mobility again which I was shocked at how effective only 90 minutes was. The masseuses are all very friendly, sweet, and lively ladies that make you feel like family. I love coming here because they feel like my aunties and always greet me with eagerness and happiness. Good $45/hour acupressure massage option for Williamsburg/NYC. What I love the most is the traditional Chinese medicine tonic they apply during the massage. It's a strong smell, not suited for everyone, but one I grew up on so it's nostalgic. Also, all the masseuses are females so no funky male encounters here. Only drawback is when you get the owner/manager doing your massage bc she's the only person who answers the phones, greets ppl at door, does scheduling - so be prepared for your massage to be interrupted multiple times. Amazing neighborhood massage venue in Williamsburg. The prices are insane and the ladies who work there are kind and very skilled at their job. At a price this low ($45/hr) you should leave a minimum of $30 in tip. These prices are unreasonably low for the type of labor and skill that is involved. The ladies who work there give massages back to back. This is physical labor. A minimum of $30 isn't even generous. It should be the minimum for the cost of service. And for Christine L who commented below that they request a $10 tip - that amount is absurdly low for what YOU are paying for. So to complain that they have to leave a note for guests to leave a minimum of a $10 tip, is a sign that Christine L and more people need to increase their tips. read more

Really happy with my experience. I chose the one hour body and 30min foot massage. My masseuse was Theresa--so sweet. She asked if I had any sore areas and I said everywhere. They do light stretching, hot stones and oil massage. I've been here twice and got the same amazing masseuse. This massage is not for the faint of heart, but since I have an extremely physical job, the deep massage is perfect for me. (obv you can always ask if you want it a little lighter). I always feel so much better after, with some soreness the next day. Also.... I want to mention, these massage therapists deserve to be tipped well. I've had less effective massages that cost $120+/per hour in "spa" venue.
