The place was clean and service was on time. I always ask that my nail cuticles Not be cut, the salon guy cut them anyway. As a result of poor cuticle cutting, bits of skin stared peeling away from a number of my fingers the next day. I had to ask to have my nails shaped twice as the job was not done sufficiently. The pedicure nail cutting and shaping fared no better. One of my big toe nails wasn't cut enough, hence subsequently it cut into the next toe. The person I went with also experienced issues with the cuticle cutting from her male salonist. He cut them so they bled on one finger. Arrived for our 2pm appt. New walking in that we would never return. The place is run down, dated, and not even close to a "spa" atmosphere. We were promptly seated. And then waited & waited. Watched bad Japanese television. And waited. A woman came over and started my husband's pedicure about 2:17. And I waited. At 2:32, she was done with him and started on my pedicure. He looked over at me and said... Well that was short. I received a basic pedicure. Mine was slightly longer, but I got color. My toes look good, it was $25 + tip (which she lingered and stared at me while toes dryed for me to sign), we were gone by 3 (my wait was longer than the pedi), but I would have gladly gone elsewhere, paid more, and enjoyed a good pedicure. I have been going to see Nancy and Tee for about five years now, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pedicures, manicures, and eyebrow waxing. I will see Nancy for waxing and artificial nails and I'll see Tee for my pedicures and manicures Nancy and Tee are always pleasant and happy to help in any and every way they can. After being a patron for so long, they know as much about my life as I do theirs... For example: Tee is getting married in Vietnam this March and Nancy's youngest is a now talkative two and a half year old. It's hard not to become involved with the people who help to make you feel as though you're looking your best. Return visit: I reduced my rating from a 3/4 to a 1 because when I went back in for a "fill" the lady there redid them completely, put on glitter black (which I had expressed definately no glitter), and burned three of my nail beds so bad that they are still extremely brown where they were burned. One of my most favorite places to get my nails done! They do such a great job here. You can get the normal stuff you get done at a nail salon plus Nancy can also do your eyebrows! Sadly this salon is another "no" for me. I'm still on the search for a good salon! I went in for gel nails, and was tortured. The man paid no attention to when he was filing my skin, or scraping polish off too hard, and I had to pull my hand away from him multiple times. Tools are not sterilized, which includes cuticle cutters (have fun with fungus!). My old gel was being stubborn, and he filed, scraped and otherwise abused me before deciding to put the acetone back on! My tips were filed way back despite me wanting them long, and he used a 70 grit file for the final shaping, which left a very rough edge. The nails look good in the end, and he threw a quick hand and arm massage in... but it won't be enough to get me to come back. Let me know if you find a salon that actually uses sterile tools and seems to care about their customers! read more

I have been going to this salon for years. I have never had a bad experiance. I love the pedicures. I also get wonderful shelac nails from Sam. They also do great waxing work. I usually do my own nails, as I can generally do a better job than most salons because I'm so picky. I came here with my mom and sister for a late Mother's Day present. Tommy did both my manicure and pedicure, and was great. Paid really close attention to what he was doing, checked with me throughout my manicure to make sure I was happy, and followed instructions I gave him. Minus one star because he clipped the cuticle a little close on one toe and caused some bleeding. But the rest was good enough that I'm not that bothered by it. My mother had called to make an appointment and she has trouble speaking English and the people working were having trouble understanding what she was saying. So they said "go f yourself" and hung up on my mother. I called back because that was extremely disrespectful and the man on the phone told me that I should go find a new place and after I had explained to them that it was my mother talking he rudely said "i don't care get the F off the phone" and I continued to explain to him he called me the b word and hung up. My daughter and her friend went in on Memorial Day to get acrylic fill and a pedicure. The guy told her one price charged her $13 more than what he originally said. My daughter says I am not going to pay for this its higher than what you said. He threatened to call the police. Her friend got charged more too. The companies that the Spa Nails employee made online purchases with, gave me the users IP addresses, user account names, emails and phone numbers. This place is nice. I mean it's not super fancy but they do a good job. There is one guy in particular, he does an excellent job! They used to do this thing with oranges and this scrub, but they don't do that anymore which is a bit disappointing because I really enjoyed that. They do hot towels with the pedicures but they don't really do much other than remove the cuticle. I asked for them to take my callus off my big toe and they seemed a little bothered. As I was walking out of famous Dave's for lunch I saw this place. I didn't check yelp like I should have and well I guess I deserved what I got. I know better. Smh. It cost me about 65 for gel nails and a pedi. Prob was that one the older lady that did my nails killed my thumb with her file. Even after I told her she was hurting me she went back to the same spot. My thumb hurt for 3 days after that. The gel nails that I paid for looked more like thick nails with clear polish on top. On top of that a few days in my nails ended up with strange cracks in them. So yes they were nice people but I wont be back. read more

I have had nothing but good experiences here! I can't understand the bad reviews either!! They are always nice and do a wonderful job. The only time I had to wait was when there were a bunch of people getting their nails done and they called in extra people so that my husband and I would get taken care of! Their designs are great! I uploaded a photo of my lime green toes with beautiful flower design! I love this place! The only thing that would make it better is doing a hot rock leg/foot massage!!! My friend had been raving about this place for months and last Saturday my daughter and I happened to be in Bellevue so I decided to try this place out. My daughter & I both had pedicures...was not impressed my daughter had to ask for a design and by Tuesday my paint had already chipped off of several toes. She ended up taking my solar nails off and redoing them which she charged me 5.00 for removal and then a full set when I only went in there for a fill. The service was so fast. This was my first (and last) time going to this place. I went in for a gel refill and my nail beds were brutalized. The lady ground in too far on 7 of them, and one especially was so painful because she almost dug into the meat. The length and shape of the tips is different than I picked out, leaving me with short, squared off nails (not rounded like I requested) that are very thick and cheap-looking. If you look at them from any other angle than straight down they look globbed on, and you can see the deep cuts made into my nail bed immortalized underneath. Never again, it was so painful and my cut up tips were throbbing all that night. $35 for torture! read more
