I had a disappointing experience at this Drybar location that left me feeling really discouraged…read more I came in for a wash and blowout and requested the "Southern Comfort" style with as much volume as possible -- big, bouncy curls. I also explained to my stylist that I'm currently recovering from major surgery and was only four days post-op, which is why I came in for the service since I'm unable to wash my hair myself right now. My stylist was very sweet, but the service itself felt rough during the wash and blow-dry. When the blowout was finished, I was honestly shocked at how underwhelming the result was. There was barely any curl, very little volume, and my hair was frizzy and poofy rather than smooth and polished. It looked nothing like the style I requested or what I've received at Drybar in the past. Because I was already feeling lightheaded and exhausted from surgery recovery, I didn't have the energy to address it in the salon and decided to just go home. However, I called the salon shortly after leaving to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the conversation with the manager, Bailey, made the experience even worse. She immediately came across as defensive and cold rather than empathetic. She told me she would call me back before the end of the day, but I never received a call. During the conversation she questioned why I hadn't said something while I was still there so another stylist could fix it, which felt dismissive given the circumstances I had already explained. I understand that things don't always go perfectly with services, but the way concerns are handled makes all the difference. The lack of empathy and follow-through left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed enough that I will not be returning.

Highly recommend Drybar. I have 4C hair, so I called ahead and requested a stylist experienced with…read moretextured hair--they had a few options. I added a treatment that left my wash and blowout super smooth. The ambiance was great, and my stylist Maria was kind and gave a thorough wash (which I loved). 10/10-definitely making this a monthly visit.

I have gone here several times and always have a great experience…read more I use to see stylist, Sierra but unfortunately she is no longer there. My appointment had been with Sierra and I received a call prior to my appointment informing me she was gone and if I was ok with having my appointment with Jennifer. That was fine I didn't think it would be bad until I arrived and came face to face with her. After I was sat, Jennifer arrived to my chair and immediately said "so what are we doing" she was frowning and I felt she was not happy to be cutting my hair. There was NO hello, no greeting nothing. Jennifer was very unapproachable and her demeanor immediately made me uncomfortable. She told one of the younger girls to wash my hair and walked away. Wow! She was awful and I almost left the salon, I told the girl washing my hair that Jennifer had been unfriendly and she just smiled. I had my hair washed by two different girls and both were incredibly sweet. I went back to my chair to wait for Jennifer and she took her time and after some time I saw Perry and explained that Jennifer was not there and I was visibly unhappy with her approach. VERY unfriendly! I was not happy with Jennifer and expressed that to the owner. Perry he ended up cutting my hair and he is sweet but my hair cut is awful! I didn't want to write a review but my hair is choppy and the layers are horrible. My haircut was nothing I expected and I will have to wait out the growth to get it fixed. One side is shorter then the other he chopped the front up so it looks like I have a short hair cut but left my length in back! My hair is not falling right and when I walked in all I wanted was a trim of ends and trim of layers. I would cry but my husband tells me it will grow out! Perry did not charge me for the cut which was a surprise and I'm sure it's because of Jennifer's horrible attitude but I hate my hair right now and would have paid for a decent haircut! and am sad Sierra is not there.

Just saw Perry and staff on 8/21 and he added highlights to my hair and it looks so great and of…read morecourse the cut is spectacular as usual. If you haven't been to his salon (btw all of his salon technicians are top of the line. Go! Check them out)! I live in Philadelphia and travel to Phoenix to see him and thank you Ailene for beautiful manicure. And as always Jasmin and Patricia make me feel so welcome The entire staff is great. Can't get my hair cut and colored any other place.

So many 5* reviews because this place rocks!…read more I have gone to several upscale salons around Camelback and Biltmore, and they never get the blonde right. It's always too orange, yellow or blue. Don't they know what blonde means?! Sheesh, I mean that is their business to know! I've even brought photos on my phone to show them what I wanted. They don't listen. They overcomplicate the whole process. They layer all kinds of products and services. They say they cannot achieve the blonde you want without using a toner/glaze. They say they cannot lighten your hair enough with just bleach. They say that would damage your hair. Then they put you under a hot dryer, use super hot water to shampoo/rinse you, and blow dry your hair with superheated air -- which actually damages years of hair growth. Then they offer you a deep conditioning treatment. They are purposely causing damage so they can charge for a hair cut to cut off the damage. They use several steps and products which take 3-4 hours and charge you $300-$500 for all their time and "effort" when all you needed was some bleach without even going under a dryer, some purple shampoo in the bowl, a quick blow dry (ON MEDIUM HEAT) and you're outta there. SECTION HAIR STUDIO IS HONEST. HOW REFRESHING! Kristy LISTENS. Kristy knows what BLONDE means. Kristy keeps things SIMPLE. Kristy doesn't DAMAGE your hair. Kristy won't kill your BUDGET.
