This is my second horrible experience in this place. The first time the the nail techs played musical chairs like nobody wanted to give me Service. They ignored me when I was trying to tell them what I wanted ......then ended up not doing what I asked. But Today takes the cake. On May 31st I had a stroke disabling the right side of my body. When we arrived all was well they seated me near the door so I didn't have to walk very far. They followed me to the chair, I took off my shoes I started to sit down and the jerk of a manager in that place walked over and told me to walk to the back of the salon on the other side. He did not even give me time to put my shoes back on. To say the least I was mortified and embarrassed that I had to walk in front of everyone in the salon to another place without my shoes wobbling and using my cane. There is no excuse for this kind of treatment. And he kept walking his smug self around like he was God's gift to Belton Teas. The nail techs tried to console me because when I get frustrated I cry. I love this place!! I live in Killeen and I make the 20 min drive just for this nail salon. The color selection is huge, the location is easy to find, the ambiance is relaxing, and the staff is always polite and inviting. I have done almost every type of pedicure they offer and I have discovered that the prices match the quality. It's worth spending the extra money if you want to be pampered. If you have little kids that like having their nails done, this salon has the kid-sized chairs for them as well. read more

This is THE nicest nail salon/spa. Beautiful, clean, nice calm music. Comfy massage chairs (they had some cute ones for little kids shaped like butterflies and hearts). I paid $38 for the fancy Hawaiian pedicure (minus a $3 coupon from the HEB receipt) and a regular manicure was $10. The regular manicure still included a hand and arm massage. The pedicure came with exfoliating fruit scrub, paraffin wax, leg massage, callus removal, longer leg massage. The massage chair was nice, really comfy and clean with nice massage action and the jets in the water tub were great. It was worth way more than the cost. I can hardly believe I found a place this great. It deserves 6 stars. You should definitely go here. By the way, the sign on the door said they're moving to Sparta Rd in December 2013, I'm assuming to the strip center next to Walmart. read more

I appreciate this nail salon due to its convenient location, parking, and cleanliness inside. No problems about the job they did for my mani/pedi but I did find it to be slightly expensive compared to my other experiences at salons in the area. $75 for a mani/pedi didn't make a lot of sense to me especially after I pointed to the $30 pedicure and asked specifically for the most basic one. Spoke to owner and he stated if I showed him a print out from bank for 75 he would give me 1000 went to bank got it and then he wanted to go talk to bank we did and he tried to then give me a gift card for 30 instead of a refund for the overage I told him I wouldn't be back and asked about the 1000 he refused and gave me the the difference back after an hour of talking to him! read more

If I could rate this location in the negative I would. I entered on 11/11/2021 for a pedicure and a male tech told me to pick a color and have a seat in a pedicure chair. He started my water and as I rolled up my pants, he asked if I wanted something to drink. He okay'd me to put my feet in the tub. I sat down and rolled my pants up, placing my feet in the nicely warm water as he cut it off for me. I was kinda happy at this point as I declined his offer for a beverage. He left and after about five minutes a female tech closer to the door, finished up another client's pedicure and wheeled her cart down to me, while speaking Vietnamese to a toddler across the room in another pedicure chair. The tech reached her bare hand that had just worked on the leaving clients bare feet into my tub and turned the hot water on in my tub without saying a word to me. The very hot water splashed on my feet. I told her how hot the water was and I asked her to turn it off, letting her know she had cause me pain by allowing the hot water to hit my feet. She spoke as though she didn't understand me. I repeated what I said a few more times until I simply said how my water temperature was fine for me. A few moments later, the tech began working on my feet. No greeting, no clean instruments and I said nothing. I watched in disbelief as she clipped my toenails and continued to talk to and look at the toddler. After a few moments, she handed me a book of services, asking me what kind of pedicure I wanted. I chose the deluxe, thinking I must be wrong about what I'm witnessing. She continue to clip my toes and began using a used emery board to saw on my toenails. She then dried my toes and began painting them with the gel color I chose. She placed the gel heater on top of my left foot, burning it. I screamed out in pain. The tech began apologizing in plain English. I asked her to finish painting my right foot. She grabbed a bigger gel heater and paid closer attention to what she was doing, not looking away or speaking to anyone else. After my toenails were dry she began gloving up. I asked her what she was now doing. She motioned to the scraper for the bottom of my feet. I had had enough at this point. I began thinking, you're about to put my clean/painted toes in the dirty water to start a deluxe pedicure that is done backwards here. Surely I'm being punked! It was at this point, I couldn't take anymore and decided to leave. I got to the register believing I would be charged for only the gel polish and then she'd remember she burnt me TWICE and we'd be even, but she stated, $30, which is the price of a deluxe pedicure. Since I didn't want to have the cops called on me for not paying for that crap they call "a service" I paid but I got the heck out of there. I WONT BE GOING BACK AND I STRONGLY URGE CUSTOMERS TO STAY AWAY. STATE BOARD SHOULD HEAD IN THERE AND THREATEN TO SHUT IT DOWN OR SHUT THEM DOWN!!! read more

People are rude rude rude! I have taken my daughter's here a few times amd every time it's like we are being a inconvenience to them by wanting to get their nails done. Today says they open at 9 so at 9:10 we pull up and the doors are still locked so we wait amd at 9:25 I finally nicely knock on the door and nothing so we go to leave amd pull out and three of them are standing in the back just talking. One is on her cell phone standing outside the back and I asked Ma'am your sign says you open at 9 she said "Well yes but I'm on the phone" I said so your not opening, she said "when I get done with my conversation maybe 15 more minutes". I just drove off. Won't go back again to many other places I can take my daughter's to and give my money to. read more

I liked the ease of booking an appointment, but I didn't like anything else. I wear sandals and I know that my feet aren't great, but the constant stream of chatter about how "gross" my feet are and the "awful" color I chose was rude. On top of that, the polish was sloppy, she completely skipped parts of some nails with it, she didn't use sterilized equipment at all, and she cut my foot. It took a couple of months to heal. Joe gave an incredible pedicure. So many different types of pedicures are offered, but I stuck with the classic because I'm embarrassingly ticklish. After I told him I was ticklish, we was so patient and kind while exfoliating and giving me a massage. The massage was the best massage I've ever gotten. Let's start by saying I come here every other week. My entire family goes every other week. We normally use Hanna or Andy for our pedicures and Chi for our nails. Everything always goes great. Today, I got a pedicure by Judy and she didn't massage my legs at all. When I pointed it out to her she told me that she already massaged them and then started aggressively massaging my legs. My husband and I went for two Hawaiian pedicures. We entered and no one asked what color I would like so I sat down thinking they would be bringing a palette for me to choose from. I was wrong, my nail tech asked me what color I wanted and I said light pink and the tech returns with a hot pink and I just agree to it as I am over the entire experience which was less than relaxing. My nail tech was speaking to someone across the room the entire time and often pausing and leaving to speak to other employees. My nails had debris in it and after I pointed it out to the tech she just looked at me and offered no remediation. Lastly, the utensils that the tech was using were NOT new nor did they come from a package used to sterilize them. When she was done with the utensils she used on me, she rinsed them in the dirty water used for my pedicure, and placed them back on her cart. I would give zero stars if I could. $100 not well spent and am extremely disappointed. read more

Went today, awful. It was very busy for 10am on a Wednesday but it is summer. I wanted a set of Acrylic nails. After waiting for a while, the tech that did me came and sat down. It seemed fine in the beginning, just sizing and putting on the nails, but I really wish they'd do some kind of manicure for the $25+ I'm paying. I have lots of snagged cuticles and was hoping they'd cut it, nope. When she used the machine to buff my nails, it cut me! And she seemed so put out for making ME bleed. So she huffed and puffed and stuck a piece of cotton on it. When she took it off, she didn't bother removing the stuck pieces and put the nail gel on top of it! Ridiculous! Fast forward to the shaping, the top of the nails are not straight, they're jagged and bend in the middle. The paint itself looks messy. It's painted on my cuticles in some places and where she tried to paint the tip, it's uneven and looks awful. I asked her to fix one because there was black stuff smeared on it that came when she was painting and she looked very hacked about it. Overall, I'm very dissatisfies with the service I received and I hope that reflects in the tip I left. I don't recommend this place. This isn't the first time I've left very unhappy. Please go somewhere else for nails, pedicure etc. I have been going there for 3 years and things started going downhill. They are rude and talk about everyone in the salon (customers). How do I know this? Had friend that translated what they were saying and I was shocked! Then the girl that did my nails for the past 6 months had surgery so I tried to book with someone that did nails like she did. Well that didn't go over good. They didn't like that so they were rude and laughing. Called John the owner and he just passed me on the the girl that was rude. He doesn't care either. I have been doing my nails for over 20 years and never had this happened. But I have always gone to an American English speaking one, so lesson learned they should keep their mouths shut so you can enjoy your nails, pedicure or whatever you are getting done. First of all, I'm not a "Karen" in any way. I just know the difference between a good and bad service. If I could have given this place 0 stars, I would have. Every time I've been here it's absolutely horrible. The staff is extremely rude and doesn't care, they just try to get through as quick as possible so the pedicure, (what I normally get, but have gotten dip nails on and off there before and that's even more of a nightmare) is short. The water is generally cold, and sometimes they don't even turn it on. I went there today, happy to be out because of shelter in place ending. And had swore to never go there again after my last experience, but that's where my sister and mom had coupons, so they had wanted to risk it one more time. Quickly we realized after arriving that they are NOT following health care guidelines. No one was wearing masks, every seat was packed. So obviously it wasn't at only 25% capacity. They barely threw three woman out of their chairs after we got there. I stood waiting expecting them to clean the chair, tray, and massage remote off with lysol. But they didn't do any of that. My mom sat down waiting for someone to come to her because they had left the water in from the woman before. Nasty cold water. She tried to tell them once they did come, and the man was very rude and tried to force her feet in as if he didn't care/was in a rush to get through with her. Even though at that point we in the building were the last customers of the night, no one else was waiting. He finally replaced her bag after the girl that had done that woman's pedicure came by and told him to. But then didn't even fill it with new water. Meaning the entire pedicure she never was able to soak her feet at all. The woman that did mine was rude as ever, I had had the same woman when I got dip nails before. And she had ruined my nails, and was so rough she made them bleed and after several times of me asking her to stop, she kept going without caring. She did about the same to my pedicure. I told her I had a really sensitive big toe on my left foot because of a recent stubbing. And showed her exactly where, and asked if she'd just skip over it. Yet instead, I started talking to my mom and felt a sharp pain. Looked and realized she was cutting my nail all the way down to where the stubbing had happened and barely cracked it. Tried to stop her once again, telling her it was hurting and she left my toe looking worse than before and it's still in immense pain. They basically did either the bare minimum of everything, or skipped over it completely. The girl that did my sisters pedi, was constantly stopping to get onto facebook. Leaving my sister sitting there cold waiting. Because again, they will not warm up your water, (if you have water) even after asking several times. The man that did my moms pedi started scraping her feet right away, causing them to bleed, obviously. He didn't put any lotion or oil on them before, and they hadn't been in any water either. So he took it to her completely dry feet and started diving in. Causing her to again bleed and squirm. I tried mentioning to my lady if she could ask him to turn on her water, because it was a bit sensitive on her feet and because my moms not the person to ask for something like that. And the lady quickly got mad at me and told me that my moms pedicure was almost done. Then turned back to the guy doing her pedi and kept talking. Not caring at all about what I had asked. Even though I had clearly told her he was hurting her. Its absolutely horrible there. I could go on and on. They should go out of business as soon as possible. Definitely will never go there again, and I will tell everyone I know about them because no one deserves to pay to be talked to rudely, forced to bleed from not performing the right way of doing things, and not heard even when you finally bring up something painful happening to YOU. by THEM. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here. I recommend paradise spa in Temple off of West adams. About the same price, but the service is 100% better than spa de miel. I wouldn't wish their service upon my worst enemy. read more

Had my nails done here (mani) and it was clear my business was not important. It took at least 30 mins before I was seen. The person doing my nails got up to service other people at least four times. When they were buffing my nails, they did three swipes and went on the next, and the same with the file. There wasn't any focus on the shape of my nail. The color was light and probably needed another coat, but I'm pretty sure they were fighting to get to the next person ASAP. They didn't even bother to make conversation other than to school me on my clear lack of nomenclature understanding of salons. I thought a manicure was a manicure unless you specifically request gels or acrylics, but an extensive conversation schooling me on my word usage was all I got. read more

I just moved into the area and needed a new nail salon. I stopped into Spa de Miel last Friday to check it out even though the reviews were sort of mixed. I worked with Yen and she was GREAT! She was extremely meticulous and detail-oriented. She took her time and gave me a FANTASTIC massage, even though they were pretty busy and people were waiting. Was not a good first experience. Will never come back! I got a pedicure and manicure. The manicure was average. The ladies talked to each other the entire time. I was not able to relax. I've had worse, but not much. I went in and asked if they took walk-ins, they said yes and asked what I needed. I told them I needed and pedi and pink and white nails. I was instructed to pick a color and shown to a chair, all standard. I was not offered a drink. I noticed everyone else was. The young lady who was supposed to work on my feet disappeared. I sat for about 15 minutes soaking my feet waiting. I finally asked where she was. Another girl showed up to do my feet, she acted a little upset about something. she didn't ask what pedi I wanted, she did the one she wanted to do, when I inquired about that she tapped my leg and told me next time. There will not be a next time. She refused to cut my toenails as well, and did not use toe spreaders when she polished, so there are smears on a couple of my toes. The lady who did my nails did a fair job, she actually had quite a bit of work to do to remove the old stuff I had on, so fair to her, she worked hard on my hands. I've had prettier nails, but I have had worse. She did listen to what I wanted as far as shape and length, credit to her for that as well. read more

I've come here before and it was SO enjoyable and relaxing!! But today, I was in the pedicure chair actively getting a pedi for 2 HOURS!! I don't have time for that, and the massage was not that great! During that time, it was loud, with babies crying, every station full, and people around me were complaining about their experience as well. This was on a Tuesday at 4:00. This is my friends and my favorite spot, we come often (but apparently not often enough, thanks for pointing that out) but today we were very disappointed. We understand we picked a bad day, the day before prom and it was busy. But to be pushed out before my toe nails even had a chance to dry with only one shoe on was ridiculous. Also, we had a young boy with us, one that likes to get his nails painted, he doesn't see it as a gender norm and was disappointed when the manager told his person boys could not have nail polish. I've been here a few times and really enjoyed it but this experience was sub par. It took a whole for someone to attend to me and a few times during the pedicure she would get up and go to the back and take a while to return (not with anything in particular, ie hot towels, etc). All of that would have been fine except for the fact that my design was terrible. She took almost 10 minutes just to paint it and it looked like something a 2nd grader could have done. I made a Yelp account just to leave this rating here because I feel so strongly about my experience here. I was looking to get a touch up on a manicure I had gotten done at another local nail salon. I was also looking to get a manicure for my mother for Mother's Day at the same time. I walked in with my phone in my hand because the day I'd set aside to get these manicures done also happened to be the day my friend's mother was dying. I was texting her to comfort her and get updates on the situation throughout the day. I walked in and no one greeted me. I finally had to say excuse me to one of the five different employees in the establishment, three of which were just standing around chatting. One finally came over and handed me a laminated menu binder and walked off. I had a question about one of the options and tried to get their attention again. This time I wasn't successful so I decided to wait for a second. My friend texted me an update to her mother's condition and I took my phone out to respond -- this DID get their attention. One of the women walked up and almost screamed at me to put my phone away. I was alarmed and told her I'm texting a friend. She informed me taking pictures was illegal, but I reitterated I was texting a friend. I even showed her my phone screen. She repeatedly told me pictures of the menu were illegal even though I had the text message response open showing my friend talking about her mother's condition worsening. I asked my question to try and change the subject, but the woman was insistent that I know yet again pictures were illegal before answering. The manicure I was looking for was 20 dollars more than what I ended up getting at the nail salon across the street so I left -- it wasn't like they were interested in offering me service anyway with how I was looked at suspiciously. I was also NOT the only person with a menu in their vacinity and on their phone at the same time. I will NEVER stop by this salon again and recommend any unhappy customers go to the nail salon across the way in the same strip mall as GameStop and Cato. read more

I came here to get a pedicure and I got the most basic one, the service was awesome and the pedicure included a lot of extra stuff like hot towels and getting my legs exfoliated, I loved it! It was way more than I expected, honestly. Also the environment was nice, it seemed clean and the pedicurist was friendly. Today I got a manicure, pedicure, and my eyebrows waxed. I loved this place. It looks really nice, the music is very calming, and the general atmosphere is wonderful. My manicurist was Amy, and she was excellent. Her massage on my arms and legs were especially good. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good. I don't live in the area, but I happened to be in Belton the day before my prom, and I needed to get a manicure and pedicure before then, so I ended up at Spa de Miel the day before my senior prom ready for my perfect pre-prom pampering. Maybe I was extra picky because I wanted them to look good for prom, but even that aside, the experience just wasn't enjoyable for me. I was really in need of a relaxing place, and it just didn't meet my standards for what I consider "relaxing." I found myself wishing for it to be over. The person who did my pedicure wasn't necessarily unfriendly, but she certainly didn't do anything to help make me feel comfortable. I also found myself in wincing pain several times during my pedicure, which was the worst part for me. I have had my fair share of manicures and pedicures with blank-faced employees so I could handle that part of my experience here, but this was the most painful pedicure I ever had. That definitely didn't help me relax. Then when I got outside, I realized that my nails had been clipped unevenly and almost down to the stub, there was still nail polish all over my toes that had missed my nails, and a couple of nails was unevenly coated. There were also parts on my fingers on the sides that had no polish on them at all. I don't know how that even happened. I actually considered taking the polish off and re-doing it myself because the job they did was about the same that I can do (which is a little below average). Overall, I was shocked that this was the same place that I had read those other great reviews about. I was so disappointed, and I would never come back again. i got a gift card to come here from my boyfriends mom. i looked at the reviews and they are terrible but she stood by this place, so i went in and the lady who was in charge was very pushy and kept insisting i get a pedicure along with my acrylic nail set and when i politely told her that this is what i wanted(full set with regular nail polish). the man that did my nails i think his name was Michel he talked only but two words the entire time. My index finger is complete crooked and when i showed him and asked him to fix it he replies "i fix later" .... he never fixed it even after almost three times of asking him too.he smudged the nail polish and looked at it and then just walked away from me and i sat thier for twenty minutes waiting for something to happen and so i gave him the gift card and i left he didn't say anything to me and their tools were not very clean and he was extremely rough with my nails and he riped my cuticle as if he was mad. they also left the front door open when it was 40 degrees outside and it was absolutely freezing. i will not be going back. read more

It was busy, so there was some waiting involved, but I wasn't in a rush so no problem. I live in between Killeen And Copperas Cove, so the drive took me about 30 minutes (once I found it.
