The salon is clean, welcoming, and I've always been happy with the service. During this visit, since Andy and Taylor weren't available, I was assigned to Kuku. Unfortunately, my experience with him was very different. From the beginning of the appointment, he was extremely rough and aggressive while working on my nails, which made the service uncomfortable. When I politely asked if he could fix one of my nails because it wasn't the shape I wanted, he did make the correction, but afterward he became even more aggressive with my nails and his attitude felt passive-aggressive for the rest of the appointment. I wasn't argumentative or disrespectful--I simply made a reasonable request to have one nail corrected. While I appreciate that he fixed it, I don't think a customer should feel uncomfortable for asking for an adjustment. This experience won't stop me from coming back because I've had many positive visits here, and I still highly recommend the salon overall. However, I do think Kuku could improve his customer service and be gentler when working on clients' nails. A professional attitude and careful service make a big difference in the overall experience.

The design does not match the inspiration photo I showed. The flowers I requested were not done, and the dots for the ladybug design appeared were applied with an INK PEN (office stationary) dipped in polish. On top of that, the workstation was extremely dirty and did not appear sanitary. For $140, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, cleanliness, and quality. This experience was very disappointing.

Gaby made an inappropriate comment stating that I needed to get off the phone because clients become extra dramatic when they have an "audience." I found that extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I'm an adult and I know how to conduct myself. When she inspected the area, she questioned how long I had let my hair grow, and even after I clarified that it had been 2.5 weeks, she continued to argue with me. I asked her directly if I should reschedule, and she said it was fine -- but the end result proved otherwise. The waxing session was rushed, lasting barely 10 minutes. After saying "ok," she just walked out without any follow-up or indication the service was complete. I paid $85 plus a $15 tip out of courtesy, but when I got home and checked, I was shocked to find large patches of hair left behind -- the job was incomplete and sloppy. My vagina looked like Cynthia from the Rugrats. I attempted to contact the shop multiple times afterward to discuss the issue, but no one answered the phone. I ended up going to another esthetician and paying again to have the wax corrected. I've been a loyal customer in the past, especially when Norma was there, and always received quality service. I paid $80 and gave a tip to be injured and insulted by this business owner. I'm very sorry that I didn't read the reviews about Gaby, the owner before coming here. This was my 3rd time here in 2 months. There are tons of other options in Killeen. Definitely, find a better one. The store front looks nice but it is lip stick on a pig.

The shop is so cute on the inside. It is just her who works there so that definitely was a plus to me to know that when I booked again it would be just her instead of another waxer if she was booked. She also gave me tips on getting waxed, things no one has ever told me about waxing.. for an example "breathing" lol I normally just hold me breath when it comes to pulling the wax off but if you just breathe during the whole process it would hurt much less.
