While waiting to get my brows done, it sounded like another worker in the back was mad shit talking. I assumed she was on the phone as she'd pause once in a while after ranting. It was extremely loud and echoed out the door. The woman doing my brows was quiet but very good at what she does. Now saying that. I don't think what happened was her fault as my brows did look good afterwards. The string she used was... waxy? Like floss almost. The area around my brows STUNG like a bitch. They were red and angry, and no aloe vera was offered. I don't believe they had any. The stinging lasted two days. I couldnt do my makeup and had trouble with the shower as it hurt. There was no cuts but tiny welts did appear. I've never had this happen before, but it might be a one off incident.

She was so kind enough to refund me for that service and she really didn't have to because the work was done. LET THIS BE A WARNING LOL, clean it up or you'll pay . The studio was so cleanly and cute. Candice was so sweet and her customer service was A+. She was very careful and light handed with everything she did. I wasn't sure what to expect after arriving and the owner asked my name and told me "She'll be here…read morein a minute" I'm assuming she meant my eyelash tech. Yes, she did arrive 3 minutes late for our 5:30 appointment. Once she got set up and ready for me, I was brought into one of the cutely decorated rooms and reclined on the comfy table to get my lashes started. I can't explain the steps bc I couldn't see but it felt like my bottom lashes were being taped, then maybe taped again? Don't know, but whatever happened it didn't hurt so I was glad about that. My tech, "She" I'll call her since I don't remember her name and the owner didn't use it, was very gentle and for that I was grateful. After about an hour it was done and I have to say I was so happy with the results! I'm a week out and I am still thrilled! Unlike my previous visits, Gaby did not step out of the room to give me privacy while I undressed -- she simply told me to take off my pants and stayed in the room, which made me very uncomfortable. During the process, I was on FaceTime with my boyfriend (camera facing only my face). Gaby made an inappropriate comment stating that I needed to get off the phone because clients become extra dramatic when they have an "audience." I found that extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I'm an adult and I know how to conduct myself. When she inspected the area, she questioned how long I had let my hair grow, and even after I clarified that it had been 2.5 weeks, she continued to argue with me. I asked her directly if I should reschedule, and she said it was fine -- but the end result proved otherwise. The waxing session was rushed, lasting barely 10 minutes. After saying "ok," she just walked out without any follow-up or indication the service was complete. I paid $85 plus a $15 tip out of courtesy, but when I got home and checked, I was shocked to find large patches of hair left behind -- the job was incomplete and sloppy. My vagina looked like Cynthia from the Rugrats. I attempted to contact the shop multiple times afterward to discuss the issue, but no one answered the phone. I ended up going to another esthetician and paying again to have the wax corrected. I've been a loyal customer in the past, especially when Norma was there, and always received quality service. Sadly, that level of professionalism and care seems to have disappeared. I do not recommend this place anymore and will not be returning.
