It was extremely loud and echoed out the door. The woman doing my brows was quiet but very good at what she does. Now saying that. I don't think what happened was her fault as my brows did look good afterwards. The string she used was... waxy? Like floss almost. The area around my brows STUNG like a bitch. They were red and angry, and no aloe vera was offered. I don't believe they had any. The stinging lasted two days. I couldnt do my makeup and had trouble with the shower as it hurt. There was no cuts but tiny welts did appear. I've never had this happen before, but it might be a one off incident.

I'd never had henna done before, but after Nisha completed her design on my hand, I was seriously contemplating getting it permanently tattooed! I love how quick and talented Nisha is. She worked through a busy lineup of first-time clients at this year's event, and not a single design was replicated. Since there were a lot of first timers to henna, I DO wish Nisha provided a small aftercare instruction card so clients can preserve their temporary keepsake for as long as possible. Pro tip: Don't get it wet, don't pick at it, and keep it sealed using a DIY lemon & sugar solution. You'll thank me later! Depending on how well you follow the aftercare, henna can last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks.
