Olivia listened to my concerns about the condition of my hair (hadn't cut or colored it in over a year) and recommended a deep conditioning treatment and added volume and movement with a much needed shorter cut. After reading reviews I decided to bring my mom here last week- which we both regret. She wanted her gray roots to be deep dark brown almost black. I don't think Angelica let it set for too long because she had to mix another bowl which is another charge. It still wasn't as dark as she wanted it to be. She cut maybe an inch off her tips which was $43, a ridiculous amount since it's not much of a haircut. What bothered me the most is that she didn't fully blow dry her hair, she said she had another appointment at 2:30, but it was past that. I kept nudging trying to get her to blow dry my moms hair since her other client was running late. I paid a little under $200 for this service. We never left a salon with wet hair before, that's unprofessional. She did offer to braid it though, lol. read more

About 6 months ago I cut my hair super short, and have regretted it / not felt like myself since. I worked with Haley. She did an amazing job putting in my extensions. She took her time and focused on the task before her. I normally have very thin hair, very light. About 5 days after getting the extensions in, I felt like the extensions were to heavy for me personally. I contacted her, made an appointment, and she repositioned, halving the amount of hair she put in each layer, and again she took her time. Both times Haley did an amazing job, and both times my hair blends well with the extensions. I highly recommend Haley and the revamp team. read more

Moved to Temple in September 2022 and had my hair done by my regular stylist before moving. Had a full set of highlights and lowlights, haircut and blow out for 140.00 without tip, which was another 60.00....because I like to show my appreciation for good work. Well I finally chose a salon to try here in Temple and Revamp is the one I picked. I really had high hopes that this would be my new place! Reviews were good, although I ignored the most recent ones, which were bad....wrong move! So...I got to the salon 10 minutes early. Was greeted and asked to have a seat. 2nd woman came around the corner to inform me that my stylist would be just 'a few minutes more'. I waited another 10 minutes, thought about leaving and then a young lady came out and her hair was lovely....ok, good sign! BUT! Then I over hear that the young lady was paying 200.00 now and her mom would pay the difference over the phone....hmmm....huge red flag there, how much more was the mom going to be paying, I wondered? There was another 10 minutes of trying to figure that out, some corrections to the price that evidently the mom questioned over the phone....good job mom! Finally, a total of 30 minutes later I'm not greeted by the stylist, just told, very rudely, to follow her back to her station. The stylist name was Angelica. Hmmm....ok. I follow her back and sit in her chair. We sort of discuss what I'd like done...no suggestions or direction from her on how she can remedy my gray roots at all. She wanted ME to tell HER what I wanted done! I'm not a stylist or colorist, that's why I pay you! I wanted the gray covered up and I explain what my past stylist did. She nods and goes to mix up what she needs. Upon her return she mentions...oh yes, let me get my pricing book. I say yes please, I overheard the young lady before me was paying 200.00 and her mom was covering the difference and she had shorter hair than me! Angelica explains the client before me had several things done that are more expensive and not to worry. Hmmm.....now I'm getting more than nervous about the price. Angelica comes back and mumbles through what she charges for a women's cut, highlights, lowlights, toner, and blow out would be 280.00! Before a tip! What the actual F ?!? That's outlandish! Absolutely ridiculous! Are you gouging people because you can?!? Do I live in LA now? No! This is Temple, Texas! Needless to say, I left! No thank you! Ended up driving to Houston to see my regular stylist. Who by the way, squeezed me in on a Saturday and did an absolutely fabulous job on my hair and I was pleased as punch to pay her 140.00 price with an 80.00 tip and STILL was less than this place! Heck even with the gas I used to drive to Houston was cheaper than our friend Angelica! Save your money, please! This place was not it! Even the owner, Brenda....stomped around the place, on her phone, in and out the front door, slamming it at times and never, not once, even took a second to look at me let alone greet me! This was my first time getting my haircut in temple and the reviews weren't half bad so I tried this place. The receptionist was so nice and the building is cute. I asked for one length and curtain bangs. I ended up with uneven bangs, botched layers, and a shag cut in the front. I have given it time to grow on me and try different styles but no matter what I do it looks awful. I wouldn't be so upset if it was at least close to what I asked for. Chopped off all My hair when asked for a trim I told Kelly I had a bob and wanted to keep that cut I told her it was grown out she said she needed to cut 1 in off I told her okay because I knew the back had grown out she said the rest she would cut half a inch she cut it all one length which was the back part grown out of my bob so now I'm wearing a wig till it grows out and I can find someone to fix it she told me a bob could mean many different things so now I know next time I will have to show pictures and make absolutely sure before anyone cuts my hair so if you go here make sure you show pictures of your cut and make sure they really understand What you mean I left in tears and she said she can't glue my hair back well obviously I know that !!! She took the time to really look at the pictures I showed her and we discussed what I wanted. I was looking for a new salon, and after a lot of research I found Revamp. I booked with Brenda. I had some breakage and was just tired of my natural color. I had not had color in my hair in over 3 years. I wanted a change. I showed Brenda some pictures of what I liked and told her to do her thing. She definitely did that and some! I am so pleased with how my hair turned out! Brenda did an amazing job! My confidence was definitely boosted! (She added color and cut my hair and I'm in love!) She also recommended some great products that would be best for my hair! She didn't just try to sell me whatever, she actually took the time to show me, and explain what I actually needed for my hair type and the breakage I was experiencing. She truly new my hair without me explaining it to her. When I went back for my touch up I ended up scheduling with Abbey because Brenda was out, Abbey did NOT disappoint! I now feel extremely confident that I could schedule with anyone there and I know I would get amazing results! I got my first set of eyelash extensions from Raelynn and now I'm hooked. Left the salon feeling defeated. I asked for baby lights because prior from a different salon I had highlights that were a bit chunky. I did however like the tone/ color of them. I specifically requested that the babylights be a warm golden blonde. There are not warm or golden at all they are almost platinum. Not to mention it felt like she was trying to rip ALL OF My HAIR OUT. I am not tender headed. I have a lot of hair and at every step she ripped through my hair. I expressed to her that she was in fact pulling hard on my head. She asked me if I was tender headed to which I responded no. The pulling never stopped. Not to mention she told me it was some sort of level salon and her level at the salon. I guess to explain the high pricing. I don't mind paying for quality. But she only did half of what I asked which was give me baby lights. I did this in an effort to have a natural look when growing out but the color is so light it will look so obvious. read more
