Unfortunately, I didn't actually get to try any of the services here. I scheduled a lash fill and was a first-time customer as I just moved from Colorado. My original appointment was at 3:20, and I received a notification around noon on appointment day that I had been rescheduled for 3:45. I thought it was weird that they didn't call or text to confirm the new time works for me, but it did work yesterday so I didn't worry too much about it. I did wonder if this is a frequent thing because a lot of times I am squeezing appointments in between meetings and can't be flexible with appointment times. Anyhoo, I arrived at 3:45 and stood at the front for five minutes before a massage therapist came out to check out her guest. She tried to help me but wasn't sure what paperwork was needed, but did let me know my lash stylist was finishing another appointment and had me wait in the waiting area. At 4:05, 20 minutes after my rescheduled appointment, I left without ever seeing the lash stylist. When I got home, I saw that I received an email at 3:25pm that said "your appointment is coming up" and I was now scheduled for the next day. I didn't receive a notification of any rescheduling this time, and to reschedule for a second time the day of an appointment without even checking that the new time works is ridiculous. Not to mention rescheduling 20 minutes before the appointment is supposed to start. If I cancelled with 20 minutes notice, I'd be charged for the appointment. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's acceptable to do the same to a customer. read more

This is the second time this place has messed with me and I can no longer recommend this place to anyone. I will disclose that I immediately set up two appointments after the initial visit due to Naomi's great first impression which I will be cancelling due to the owner's lack of professionalism. The first time I came, I waited an additional 15 minutes (despite arriving fifteen minutes early) due to them neglecting to inform me that they had a client booked right before me resulting in them rushing to clean up well past my appointment time. I let that go because Naomi is pretty awesome and she'd assumed the receptionist had informed me. This time around, I called through the weekend with no answer to get my appointment switched to my boyfriend's name since he recently returned from deployment and could use a massage. I finally got a hold of the owner the day of the appointment and she told me it'd be no issue and that they could even do both of us if I wanted! How awesome, right? Wrong. We arrived a little early and were ushered into the sitting room so my boyfriend could fill out paperwork. As he did this, I asked the receptionist if this would be a couples massage or individual and she said if we wanted a couples massage she'd see what she could do. Well, turns out they were too booked for that which was fine. The masseuse came out for my boyfriend and whisked him away as I awaited my masseuse. Then in comes the receptionist to explain that they're overbooked and are breaking my appointment but would like to offer me a discount on my next appointment at $15 off. Before my boyfriend finished his appointment, I went up to the receptionist desk to see if they could honor the $15 off on my boyfriend's appointment and just pay the usual amount the next time I came in since no note had been logged to prove the offer even happened. The receptionist didn't see an issue with this, but wanted to clear it with the owner. The receptionist called the owner and she denied the request flatly explaining that the point is that I come back. This is absolutely bad business practice! Any chance of either myself or my boyfriend returning is shot! So at this point, I'm done with the lack of professionalism displayed here. As a therapist who works off of appointments as well, I find it ridiculous that this place has a continuous issue with general professionalism and costumer service. I'll be sure to recommend other establishments to my friends and coworkers! Do not come here if you value your time! 3 Reasons why I love Invisions: 1. AMBIANCE: I wish I had even an ounce of the interior decorating skill that was put into this place. Each therapy room is decorated in a different style (log cabin, Oriental, Greco Roman, etc.) 2. STAFF: I have seen several therapists and an acupuncturist and they were all very friendly, professional, and provided a great service. Less than a wow experience; the ambience was eh, and the therapist's phone kept buzzing in his pocket for 50 minutes. He also kept talking to me and I was unable to relax. Spent about 5 out of the 50 minutes on my legs, which sucks because I work on my feet and my legs are always tired. Also, if I'd never had a massage before I would have had no idea what to do when the therapist stuck me in the room and simply said "get ready I'll be back in a minute." No robe, hot towel, or anything offered besides a tiny bottle of water. $60 for 50 minutes. Spend a little more and go somewhere else. read more

Ambience so so. My biggest issue is with the lack of professionalism. I had an appointment, filled out the paperwork, had extensive conversation with the therapist and received a satisfactory massage. I scheduled another for a week later. On the day of my appointment I received a call from the "owner" a half hour before my appointment. Her message wasn't completely audible, so when I tried to call her back, no response. The gest of the message was that the therapist "didn't feel comfortable treating me and was a contractor so she could not force her to see me". I did not even ask her to. For the therapist to not say anything about feeling "uncomfortable " and then to wait until right before my appointment to speak up, reeks of unprofessionalism. I have reported the therapist to the licensing board. read more

So I was having some pain in my lower back for two days, everytime I stood or sat it was like someone was shoving forks in my back. I finally had enough and started calling around to see if there was same day availability for an hour and a half. Invisions was a home run. I was a little nervous at first because it was a spa, and not specifically a massage therapy. My body is a mess and I require a therapist that actually knows what they are doing. I have had too many massages in the past where I have left hurting more and wanting to cry from zero relief from the pain. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about with this place. I was given a wonderful therapist by the name of Chase. He was professional and polite, briefly explained what he was going to do after I explain my issue, and as soon as he started on my feet i was in "love". Now I prefer deep tissue, it is the only way to get the tension out, and I must say I was pleased. Chase used elbows, nuckles, and thumbs like the knots in my back had no hope for tomorrow, it was painfully amazing. If I had any critique on the experience, it was the awkward silence, and I don't mean no talking silence. I am so glad I decided to bring my head phones with me this time, because there was absolutely no music in the room. I think next time I am just going to bring a speaker with me so it's not so weird. read more

I went once for my lashes after relocating and wasn't happy. I did hybrid so decided to give it a second try with classic because I'm very particular about my lashes and my last lash artist was incredible. The second time was worst than the second. My lashes fell out faster than ever before, way too much glue was used, it felt like they were getting cut and my lids were basically glued shut. Then come to find out they were dishonest the prior visit and do have another lash artist and tried to overcharge me. Never again. Stay away, for your lashes at least. read more

The facility was nice however the skill and technique of the therapists were not as nice. Who burps while giving a massage? Went for a couples massage yesterday and unfortunately we won't be back. Unfortunate because my massage by Monica was wonderful, my wife's massage was awful. Therapist seems to be sick with a constant cough and a less than stellar massage per my wife. We have had massages both good and bad, so we both know what to expect. Seems they have good therapists and not so good. I found Invisions Day Spa when I was looking for a nice,clean salon to get eyelash extensions done at. Faith did my initial classic set and did amazing. I decided I wanted a fuller look with my refill, though and Tammy (the owner) ended up doing it and I could not be happier with how they look. Fabulous spa absolutely the best pampering facial by Christine and magic fingers by Chase for a massage. I will NEVER EVER use another spa ! Christine has years of experience and there is NO better in the business I am so relaxed after spending the hour and a half with her pampering massage I was in total bliss it included a shoulder hand and foot and scalp massage with the warm booties and hand mitts included it was a totally AMAZING facial!!! In the massage Dept I suffer with sciatica and have for more than a year and some days I can barely walk which is how I woke up today and after 90 min with Chase I am moving like I don't even have it and my entire body is revived and I feel like a NEW person!!! This is the only place in Temple/Belton I will keep going back to. I'm very picky and have had numerous extremely relaxing massages from several of their therapists. Woodhouse in Belton seems overrated and gets more attention because of its cool, downtown Belton location and posh atmosphere, but Invisions is the better place. ESPECIALLY if you are pregnant. They have the face down pillow for pregnant women that allows you to get a massage laying on your tummy! I've been told by friends that nowhere else in town has this, and it can be the difference between an ok and phenomenal massage because you don't have to be on your side. And you don't have to turn to the other side mid-massage. The new owner is extremely nice and asks for your honest feedback. Call staff is much improved since I first tried them in 2014. They've also added some massage packages and deals - like paying for a bundle to get one free. read more

I used to come to Invisions about 3-4 times a year for massages and facials while we lived in Belton in '06-08. I loved it back then because it wasn't crazy expensive, but the massages were incredible and the facials were relaxing and wonderful. We moved back about a year and a half ago and I couldn't wait to come back. Unfortunately the management or ownership has changed. I called to schedule an appointment and the gentleman who answered the phone was very short with me and honestly didn't seem to know anything about the services offered. I went in for a facial and thank God Christine was still there to do facials, and nothing's changed on her end - she works wonders and I love the Eminence line. I was in a few months later (please keep in mind this was in '09 or '10) for a massage. I entered the building and was blown away by the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke and nasty cologne. Usually the place smelled clean and like a spa usually smells, but this smelled like a bar. And that was just the beginning... I was scheduled for a one hour deep tissue massage. Usually they've been great about giving me my full hour - they used to schedule extra time for disrobing/robing and still give me my 60 minutes. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment (at 2 p.m.). I wasn't led into my room until 2:07 and the massage didn't start until 2:13. She finished at 2:49. Needless to say, I was pretty upset. The massage itself was terrible. It was nowhere near a deep tissue massage, and when I asked if she could use a firmer pressure she sighed huffily and said, "Sure." The pressure never changed, and it was probably a medium pressure Swedish. After the massage was finished, I mentioned something to the gentleman at the front desk that I was shorted on my massage time and said I didn't even get 45 minutes and I was scheduled for an hour. He said something to the effect of the fact that I received my full time. When I stated that I arrived early for my 2:00 appointment, didn't get back until 2:07, started on until 2:13, and out and checking out at 2:55 something obviously wasn't right. He gave an excuse about being behind schedule, and I said it wasn't fair to penalize the customers for therapists running behind schedule, and I mentioned that I should only have to pay for a 45 minute massage. He retorted that they didn't have pricing for a 45 minute massage so that wasn't an option. To make matters worse, when I paid he asked point-blank if I wanted to put a tip on the card (which was able to be written in on the receipt), and when I said no, he said it was customary to tip 10-15% of the amount of the service. I ignored his rude comment and left. Sadly the management and therapists used to be much better, and thankfully I've found out where one of the old therapists currently works so I'm getting my massage needs met. The guy at the front desk was less than friendly. I hope that since I was there last time they've released some of the unfriendly and incompetent people and gotten nicer and more accomplished therapists. If you have the urge to check this place out, do yourself a favor and get a facial with Christine. She is incredible and will wow you with her expertise. read more

HORRIBLE experience TWICE! Don't go unless you just enjoy throwing your money away. I bought my husband services here twice and both times he was shafted out of time. For example this last time he went I had bought him a 90 minute swedish massage and added on a 15 minute hot stone foot massage for an additional $25. Well his appt was at 12:30 which he was there on time and by the time he got in the room I'm sure another few minutes had passed. Well if my math serves me correctly he should not have been done until 2:15pm...NOT 1:50pm when he called saying he was already done. When I called the spa to find out what happened, the receptionist Krista, who was very unprofessional and rude, went on to holler at me and then had the nerve to lie and say he showed up early for his appt. Which was an absolute LIE! This place used to be nice...but apparently is more about making another buck and screwing over the people that come to them for services! Horrible.....save your $$ and aggravation and find a better spa that cares about their customers!! read more

Just had a massage here and it was wonderful. I scheduled my appointment online and had no problems getting an appointment. The atmosphere was very relaxing; dimly lit, soft music, and wonderful fragrance. My therapist was Kessiah and she did an amazing job! My only complaint was the temperature. I prefer heated beds but this is Texas and they probably don't have heated beds! Also, there was a small fan on in the room. It wasn't blowing directly on me but it did add a little extra noise. NEVER AGAIN! Went for a deluxe pedicure expecting better service and atmosphere than a nail salon due to it being at a spa but boy was I wrong . The chairs don't recline, you are put in a room that reminds me of a storage closet, I had a new technician that did not know what she was doing (my foot massage felt like my 3-yr old niece rubbing my feet, barely did anything but twiddle with my feet) , and kept making semi-rude remarks, the manager made 101 excuses about why it wasn't up to par but there were so many things wrong even her not charging me for the experience wasn't good enough. I've been to Invisions several times and I've always been happy. The last few times I've had massages with Kessiah. Let me tell you she knows what she is doing! I've had sciatic and neck issues and after seeing her they are gone!! Not only is she a fantastic therapist, she has great attitude and it shows she loves what she does. I recently received a massage at Invisions that was not very good at all. I have been there several times before and always walked out feeling great, but not this time. The therapist was way to rough with my and did not lighten up when I told her. I still plan on going to the spa for massages but next time I will wait for an appointment to be available with Ryan or Blakee. These are the only therapist I would see. If they put you with Sarah try for another day she is extremely rough and makes it hard to relax. read more
