I'd never had henna done before, but after Nisha completed her design on my hand, I was seriously contemplating getting it permanently tattooed! I love how quick and talented Nisha is. She worked through a busy lineup of first-time clients at this year's event, and not a single design was replicated. Since there were a lot of first timers to henna, I DO wish Nisha provided a small aftercare instruction card so clients can preserve their temporary keepsake for as long as possible. Pro tip: Don't get it wet, don't pick at it, and keep it sealed using a DIY lemon & sugar solution. You'll thank me later! Depending on how well you follow the aftercare, henna can last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. read more

Don't be put off by the location, even though it's a business run out of the owner's house, because the whole experience, albeit strange, was well worth it. One day out the quality of the henna she uses is apparent because it's not the super dark kind that has additives that can cause skin irritation.
