i had a full acrylic set and the man "Don" destroyed my cuticles. I usually have good experiences here, but today was disappointing. The environment was incredibly loud and not relaxing at all. The technician seemed inexperienced and disinterested in the service; they actually left in the middle of the treatment and did not return to finish. Another staff member took over but then left me waiting indefinitely. I eventually had to go to the front desk myself to pay, and because no one assisted me, I ended up leaving barefoot. Posted for my wife. She's too disgusted with this place to even write about how sh!tty it is. First glance it appears nice but it's dirty. She's been there numerous times and every time she swears she'll never go back. The woman today had a fungus on her left thumb. Nauseating. The prices are never the same. You charge Beverly Hills' prices in Bell county. The quality of work is never great. The only reason she used them was for the convenient location. Well, she's never going back. not good work. told me it was my nails the reason it looks the way it does. Caters to older crowd

My normal place was closed today so I thought I would try this one out. Was not impressed. So the ambience if this business is nice; it's decorated nicely with relaxing music playing. Everything appears well kept and clean. I didn't see a price list or options for pedicures. When I walked in it was very busy, so that may have been part of the problem. I don't mind waiting for a pedicure but my water was cold. They added a little bit more warm water twice, but it's not exactly the relaxing experience you're looking for when your feet are chilly. The final product was fine in terms of paint but the massage and everything else was a little lacking. The lady who did my feet was quite rough. She scrubbed my the top of my feet like she was doing dishes and kept nicking me when did clipped my cuticles. Massage was cursory. She took the wax mask off before it had even cooled. Add that to a cold water and it's not what you're looking for in a relaxing pedi. Then to make matters worse, there is a large sign on the door requiring masks for entry. One customer entered without a mask and proceeded to choose her color. The staff said nothing until I politely asked if masks were required. I was prepared to leave if not. So the guy in charge offered some disposable masks to the customer who suddenly remembered she had one in her purse. While I was getting my pedicure, two more customers entered without masks and nobody said anything to them. I'm a RN whose been working COVID ICU so it's something I take seriously. I don't want to have to be a Karen and cause a scene. They were never asked to don a mask despite everyone else in the room wearing them. Between the lack of upholding public health standards, the rough pedi, the cold water, and the long wait - without anyone saying anything to me...I won't be back. just now NEW A long time client and will not be returning. Over the last few months I have noticed that their sanitation procedures have been a bit lax. I have had to ask each time I have been in for them to use clean implements. I have seen them reach for used implements when they are starting my pedicure. They always happily supply fresh instruments on request, but their state board requires freshly sanitized instruments be used on each client to prevent the spread of infection. Today the Tech when asked to use fresh instruments tries to fool me by using an already opened package of instruments. i politely tell him that that looks open already could he plead get a sealed package. He then gets a bit passive aggressive along with another female employee. To the point of unwrapping brand new files, buffers and foot scrubbers very dramatically right in front of me. He also sprays the steal foot grater with alcohol very dramatically In font of me and said "Maybe I should change my shirt too." I wasn't at all upset until the shirt comment. I have been a costumer of this salon since the were in the place beside the gas station on lake road. But I will never go back. When my mom who was with me called and asked to speak with the manager, they wouldn't allow her to speak to him. Very sad this is the treatment we received after all these years. read more

My husband and I have visited the shop a few times, and it always feels chaotic. I had a pedicure and fingernail dips. Both the gentleman doing my pedicure and the woman doing the dips were distracted and I have little cuts since they weren't paying attention while filing and filed into my skin. The dips were performed at the same time as my pedicure and honestly it is the worst my nails have looked in 30 years since I started getting my nails professionally done. The tech dipped my nails a total of five times and then put on two top coats. It took forever, and they are so thick and horrible looking. The tips are rough and there are bumps and lumps everywhere. Awful Customer Service!!! I'm not against staff conversing amongst themselves but these ladies were basically screaming and only half paying attention to the person in front of them. Mai did my nails and she was the worst out of all of them. She didn't even put a top coat on one of my hands! The first star I gave was solely for the cleanliness and ambiance of the inside, it's a nice salon. Tonight I went in to get a pedi and it was crowded, but not nearly as crowded as it usually is (myself and my 3 daughters have been regulars for the past couple of years). I stood at the front for almost 2 minutes before I was asked what I needed and told one of the employees that I needed a pedicure. She said it would be 5 minutes until they could get to me. I was seated at one of the pedicure chairs where the water was turned on and it filled until it overflowed. I was calling for someone to come help turn it off, but no one looked up until the water was hitting the floor and a very angry employee told me that I could turn it off. I honestly don't know how to operate the water flow on one of those and it's really not my job but I stayed even thought she continued to yell out things in a language that I do not speak while slamming things around. 30 minutes later as I was drying my feet to leave (after waiting 25 minutes over the estimated time) I was asked to wait while the owner's wife came out to do my pedicure and seemed especially annoyed with having to work. She finished a $60 pedicure in a matter of 25 minutes and I left with a horrible gel polish job that I'm now doing my best to touch up at home along with a bad taste in my mouth for this business. I have never been treated so rudely and had such awful service at a salon. EVER. I won't be returning nor would I recommend spending your money here. I give second and third chances, but today was enough for me to not only NOT recommend, but I will warn people about going if it ever comes up in conversation. read more

RUDE AND RACIST!! I went to this nail salon this morning and was ignored by a male Asian employee. I was first in line and he walked past me to service a white couple behind. When I told him I was first in line, he ignored me and proceeded to still talk to the couple behind me. I then said I was first, don't you see me. He then took me to a pedicure chair and left. I give this place ZERO stars. My elderly mother went there recently and they gave her a gel manicure that she did not want. When she called back to ask what they had done, they hung up on her THREE TIMES. When she finally went back to have the gel removed they destroyed her nails and she now has bandaids on all ten fingers. She's 80 years old and they could not have cared less about her. This place is horrible. They have no regard for their customers and they give unwanted services just to make money. I normally come to this salon frequently for special occasion nails etc... but today (8/5/19) I came into get my acrylic dip nails soaked off and a man I hadn't seen before did them. Needless to say he was rude, pushy and left my nails soaking in hot acetone for about 15 minutes. After he was done I asked him if he could clean them up a little because they were messy and he claimed he was already done. I then asked him to get the crud out from under my nails and he said he didn't have the tool needed for that. When I paid he charged $10, normally when I come in it is only $8. I need a new place for nails. I've been going to this nail salon at least 12 years since we moved to Belton Texas and they've been pretty good but in recent years I just keep getting injured every time I get my nails done. The other day I had a gentleman who said he's been doing it for 26 years and then he did the rotator thing and burnt my finger and he goes oh never burn never burn me and he was pleasant you could talk to him and I was having a great time with him do my nails despite the one burn that he did it again. I guess I jumped next thing I knew there was another girl there she painted my nails and he was skulling around the back room never said a word to me just stood up and left. I will admit that they tell me then why do you get tense and I've had the girls there slap my hand because I'm tense when I do my nails maybe because I'm waiting for the burn. First of all I am a business owner here in Bell County so I take this page and reviews very seriously. That being said I need to report a horrible business and what happen today to my daughters. Spa De Miel I sent my girls there today to get 2 full sets of nails simple 35.00 a piece all is good " NOT" first they picked their color from the rack and went to the table and were told no they had to pick a color from the gel bookthey said no but the tech insisted " I was not with them" so that adds 10.00 per set then they wanted coffin shape now they charged an additional 5.00 per setwhen did the shape of tour nail add a few same nail No extra mot hard what is the difference ? we are now up to 50.00 per set and a 103.00 bill for 2 sets of nails for teenagers to go to a marine Corp ball tonight. I am not cheep but the girls called and said mom they won't let us do what we want I called and talked to the tech who said gel last longer I said we don't want it she said oh well you can come up here and we will take the gel off and put on regular, I ask for the 20.00 refund because they told you no. She said and I quote we are busy if you come we are bussy if you don't come so, we don't care if you want refund. I have been going to that salon for a very long time my original nail tech passed then my next one was deported. The shop has gone down hill and now they are taking advantage of young ladies who don't know how to say no. Got told they can only fix 2 and come back when back in town. I had come here once before and had a decent experience but was horrified with my second one. I made an appointment for myself and a friend. We showed up a few minutes early and sat down to soak off our current sets. After 30 minutes of soaking and watching other people walk in and get helped immediately, I tried to ask why we were still sitting there by ourselves. The guy I spoke to had the audacity to raise his voice at my friend and I saying she was on her phone instead of keeping her nails in the acetone. I saw spa de miel while grocery shopping at HEB and decided to try it out. So glad I did! The spa is very clean and the sanitary practices are obvious the minute you walk in the door. It has a much more spa like feel than any nail salon I've been too, with soothing music, comfortable chairs, and privacy drapes between chairs I got a shellac manicure and milk & honey pedicure, which I picked from their restaurant-like services menu. It was hands down the most thorough and relaxing services I've gotten in a very long time. Everyone working there is friendly and attentive. Ask for Sam he gave an incredible massage. I noticed that she wasn't doing her normal thing this time but didn't think a whole about it. When she finished, our nails just looked as good as they usually do. Well, Wednesday, my daughter's nails started separating from the dip and one chipped today. I took her to the salon and told them I wanted the right hand soaked off and redone to make it right. I walked outside and as soon as I did, they put nail glue under the dip and called it good. So we basically paid $40 for a jacked up manicure that they want to rig instead of make it right. I went in yesterday 6/27/2022 with my 3 granddaughters to get 3 pedicures, 2 manicures and my youngest got her nails painted only, which was good. They had a hard time understanding what we wanted done and kept insisting we get gel nails for our toe nails finally I said ok. Mine are not filed down right and are crooked I wanted a design but being we could not communicate with them barely I didn't ask. My 1st granddaughter pedicure is okay and her manicure too she had a nice lady that took her time. My 2nd granddaughter told me and showed the lady that did her pedicure cut her toe nails really short and we're not very straight, it hurt her and the manicure was very bad she nicked my granddaughters cuticle she was bleeding and in pain and all her little nails were supper short cut way too much off of her nails they were red we all got French tip on our toes. I should not have paid for my 2nd granddaughters pedicure or manicure since we were not happy at all. My daughter was upset with me had I known it was hurting as much as it did I would have told them something. Usually if that happened at all the person would tell me and put a bandaid on it and not charge for the manicure. They were children running around so loud and in peoples way. Mind you I love children as I took my 3 granddaughters with me. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know not to go there. It was way expensive and they are pushy in selling you gel nails and no one spoke good English at all. The people are very friendly but I'm horrified with the quality. My pedicure was nice but I think the polish was old because there are bubbles all in my polish and I'll have to repaint them myself. Whatever you do don't let Tina do a French manicure on you. She is very sweet and appears to try very hard but I have crooked lines and jagged edges all over the place and no time to have them redone before my vacation tomorrow and it's gel so it's not like I can just take it off at home. Stuck with this hot mess for 2 weeks unless I pay someone else to remove it while I'm out of town. One more thing I did not need on my plate. Two stars because they're super nice. read more

Communication was difficult, the color I chose wasn't enough to cover one coat of polish so it took the technician almost 15 minutes to find a color to replace it, all the awhile speaking a foreign language with the other employees. I pointed out a bubble on my thumb after the base coat and she ignored it. I pointed it out again after the polish and she ignored it. All the while speaking a foreign language. When she finished she said "ok"? I said there is a bubble on my thumb... this time she paid attention and tried to "repair" it which made it worse. She sort of rushed thru the process to made it look better, but I won't go back. Not courteous, or patient... rushed The whole gel manicure process. I've been going to this salon for so long. But this is the last tome i ever come. I went to go get my nails done for my birthday and they just look terrible. Yen (that's the lady that did my nails) had rushed me to pick a color for my nails. But i just brushed that off my shoulder. But the end results of my nails were so horrible. i wanted glitter on my ring fingers and middle finger. Yen did it differently on both my hands. one had was current the way i wanted glitter on my ring and middle finger. but on the other hand she put it on my pointer finger and middle finger. but that's not all. my nails are VERY bumpy. and you can even see some of my actual nail, like she didn't cover my full nail. Not a good experience at all. I decided to get my first pedicure of the year here and brought my husband along for his first pedicure ever. We both took a day off during the week and were there early (10ish). The guy that was working on me was extremely rushed for some reason (it wasn't crowded) and did a terrible job. I mean awful. I wanted basic polish and it ended up all around the outside of my toes, etc. The whole thing felt very rushed and was not relaxing at all.
