I was a longtime client of this salon and had referred multiple friends and family members over the years, which is why writing this review is so disappointing. On May 22, I had an appointment for highlights, a shampoo, cut, and style. During the consultation, we reviewed inspiration photos and discussed the look I wanted. We agreed on adding noticeable dimension and brightness to my hair, and I was told the photo I provided was achievable. Unfortunately, the final result looked nothing like what we had discussed. There was little to no visible change, and we actually had to walk around the salon and look at my hair in different lighting so I could try to see the highlights that had been done. I left confused and disappointed, especially considering I paid $437.48 for the appointment. When I expressed concerns before leaving, I was told to "sleep on it" and that if I was still unhappy, they could try to squeeze me in later in the week for a correction appointment. The problem was that this appointment was for my graduation photos. I had already taken time off work, spent several hours in the salon, and had photos scheduled. Waiting several more days and hoping another appointment would fix the issue was not a realistic option. I also had no existing color on my hair before this appointment, as the last color service I received was from the same stylist in February 2025. After multiple appointments over the years where I left unhappy with the results, I did not feel comfortable returning and hoping for a different outcome, especially with such an important event approaching. What made the situation significantly worse was what I discovered after the appointment. Once I got home and styled my hair myself, I realized the haircut was uneven and appeared broken into sections in multiple areas. With my photos quickly approaching, I had no choice but to seek corrective services elsewhere. The stylist who corrected my hair had to cut several inches off to make it look even and healthy again. I was honestly in tears. What was supposed to be an exciting appointment before an important milestone became stressful and upsetting. Not only was I unhappy with the original service, but I also had to spend additional money to fix it. The stylist who corrected my hair also strongly recommended that I seek a refund. I attempted to handle everything privately before ever considering a review. I emailed the salon, explained my concerns, provided photos, and requested a resolution. After waiting more than a week for a response, I received a partial refund. However, the refund did not even amount to half of what I paid for the appointment and did not account for the additional money I spent correcting the issues elsewhere. I followed up and explained why I did not feel comfortable returning for a correction and that the haircut required professional corrective work. In response, I was eventually sent a copy of the consultation disclaimer that clients are required to sign when booking appointments. There was no explanation, no response to the concerns I raised, and no return phone call. When I replied explaining that the disclaimer did not address any of the issues I had experienced, I never received another response. At no point did I feel that my concerns were genuinely addressed. Instead, I felt dismissed. I understand that mistakes happen and that not every hair appointment goes perfectly. What ultimately led me to write this review was not just the outcome of the appointment, but how the situation was handled afterward. As a longtime client who had referred multiple friends and family members to the salon, I expected better communication, accountability, and customer service. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere and can no longer recommend this salon. I wanted very much to resolve this privately and continue supporting a business I had trusted for years, but that was not the outcome. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this salon. I called to cancel my appointment well ahead of their stated 24-hour notice requirement, yet they still charged me a cancellation fee, a ridiculous $195.00. Even worse, they used my debit card from a transaction I made over a month ago--meaning they had kept my card information on file without my consent. When I called to address the issue, the person claiming to be the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. I asked for the owner's contact information and was told to "look it up on the website" instead of being given it directly. It's ridiculous to have to go to these extremes for something that could have been resolved with basic professionalism. To make matters worse, the owner's (Nory) response to my review was just as disappointing as the initial interaction. It explains a lot about why the staff behaves the way they do. Her statement about "parting ways" as if I would ever return to that establishment. She dug around to find any justification to the "theft" of my money. (Btw I have my phone record of my call to CX appointment and will be pursuing legal matters if my money is not refunded) She also failed to mention the part where at one of my visits one of the stylist didn't highlight my hair as I requested and I left the salon with my hair darker than when I arrived. Yes they offered for me to go back so they could "fix it" but my personal choice was not to go back. (Why would I) they should have done it correctly the first time!) This should have been a sign not to re-book and return. I have been coming to see Audrey for the last 8 months or so and have never been disappointed. As someone who moves rather frequently, one of the worst parts is having to find a new hair salon. I walked in and right away knew I could stop looking. Friendly staff, knowledgeable stylists, comfortable environment. And they have wine! For transparency, it is on the pricier side. But let's be honest, you get what you pay for. Totally worth it! So far I have done regular cuts and style, balayage, gloss touch ups, and eyebrow/lip waxing. 5 out of 5 stars. I started with Robyn then rotated chairs over to Audri. Forward to January 2023 my daughter went in for her Sweet 16 themed hair color. I was advised there was a new policy. $50 deposit for her's and all future appointments. I didn't see anything wrong with it. Doctor offices also do it to discourage last minute cancelations and a sort of penalty for missed appts. However, what they don't do is charge you $3500 for that mammogram you were supposed to get. Or $1500 for the physical you missed. That would be ridiculous. Fraudulent even. In June 2023, my husband took my daughter in for a haircut. When she called dad to let him know she was ready so he could come inside to pay, the receptionist advised her they had already charged it to the "card on file" No questions asked or even verify that my 16 year old was authorized to use my "card on file" I didn't appreciate them assuming it was okay to just charge my card just because they had access to it. But I let it go. August 2023 My appointment was scheduled. In the past, I've always given plenty of notice if I needed to move my appointment. Usually giving 24-48 hours. However, I was so sick, I couldn't get out of bed and slept 18 hours straight! The next day, I realized it was in fact the next day. Panicked and realizing I missed my hair appointment I'd been waiting a couple of weeks for. ( They're always booked solid) I called the salon. I explained and apologized, and was offered a new appointment for that following Saturday which I gratefully accepted. A couple of hours later, I received a voice mail alert. It was the salon advising they HAD ALREADY charged my CARD ON FILE $$121.00 for missed appointment. WHAAAAAT? I was certain this was a mistake. I must have misunderstood the message, so I called the salon. The receptionist verified that infact the "card on file" that I used to make appointment ($50 deposit) was used to charge me $121.00 for the services I would have received. I was aware of the $50 deposit but NEVER EVER EVER had I heard of such an absurdity. She continued to explain it was a "new policy." I told her I was shocked and had never heard of or made aware of such a policy. I reminded her the only policy I was aware of was the deposit fee, Deposit good towards services and forfeited if appointment is missed. Suggesting Outrageous policies like these should be in writing, explained at time appointments are made, And most definitely included in the appointment confirmation text messages so we're made aware of "new policies." Especially if they are going to have access to payment via "card on file" and make unauthorized charges at their own discretion. She offered to talk to the owner, considering I'd never missed an appointment. And maybe considering that I was a long time customer. The next day, I called back and was told owners had not gotten back to her. I mentioned I was even willing to pay half the $121 because I felt badly missing my appointment. I called again and was told the owner refused to refund full or even partial charge. I advised that in that case I'd be canceling my upcoming appointment and would no longer be a returning customer. To which she responded with "Good luck with your hair journey" And that was that. read more

I love Juliana. I have been seeing her for about 3 years. She is flexible with when I need to get in. She recently did a color correction on my daughter. My daughter's hair looks amazing ! It's not fried. Her hair is still very healthy after this process. I see her for grey blending. I have been very pleased with her experience . She helps me change hairstyles and still look young. I want to look trendy . Juliana helps me do that. The girls at the salon are very friendly and always greet me. I think everyone stylist in there knows my name. There about 14 stylist. They took advantage of my teenage daughter- Plain and simple. I reserved an appointment for ($100) partial highlights through their website. My daughter came home and relayed they charged her $339!! I called and their explanation was that they're an 'a la carte' service and that my daughter didn't ask for a breakdown (bc she assumed what we made an appt for was the actual service being provided!!!). I requested a copy of the receipt and they just nickel and dimed her to reach a grand total of $339. They had the audacity to charge for the cost of color ($52), toner ($21 root smudge tone + $21 all over tone), teasing ($31), and shampoo ($42)- All of which are REQUIRED for this (partial highlight) service and are ALWAYS included in the price. You literally cannot do highlights without these things and everywhere you go- They're included in the service/price. It's like offering a haircut and then charging extra for them to use scissors. INSANE! I do not understand how they can, in good conscience, charge this way. Thank you SO much!!!! I was referred to this salon from a friend & let me say that the ladies they sent over to do hair/makeup for my wedding were AMAZING! Robin was so awesome, she did my hair exactly as asked. I asked for a side braid with a hairdo and to keep my hair parted on the side, since that's my norm... I also wanted strands of hair left dangling to be curled, and she was amazing! The updo in the back was so beautiful. At first, she left the bottom half of my hair down, but when I explained more of what I wanted, she easily fixed it no problem! She was very attentive and worked so well in making sure I got what I wanted!!!! My makeup was done by Audri & let me say that she made me feel gorgeous! I told her that I normally don't wear makeup often and I like the more natural look... but don't mind a smokey eye either! She worked her magic & lets say that I felt GORGEOUS! She definitely gave me the look that I didn't even know that I wanted, she just made me feel beautiful without looking like I was caked on with makeup! Both of these ladies did a fabulous job! They made me and my girls ALL feel special! Everyone was happy with their hair & makeup. They did what we wanted with the looks that we asked for. We gave them our ideas & showed them pictures and they were pretty spot-on! I am so glad that I got them for my wedding cause I couldn't have been happier! I went back for correction and was left with messy undone hair. I expressed my concerns to the manager Robyn and was promised a call back, which I did not receive. Anytime I need a haircut, I come here! I pay $35 each time for a dry cut and I personally think that is reasonable especially for the service I receive! I also go to my friend Taylor! We go to school together at UMHB and she is absolutely amazing and no doubt listens to anything/everything you want or need! I haven't gotten my hair colored here yet, but taylor has been with me and through all of my back and forth on decision making for my hair! I go to Grace who has never stopped amazing me every time I come in. Her attention to detail and listening to what I want is amazing. She ALWAYS takes care of me. My experience was amazing!! I was nervous to go anywhere new and Brooklyn exceeded my expectations!! My hair was a very dark black and I know that can be challenging to break up but she slayed it!! Nice atmosphere. Yes, it is in an old historic building but I love that! They ask for a $50 deposit for services, I can understand that though because my sister is a hairdresser and people do not show up. Maybe it will help weed out people who may not be serious about an appt. They offer coffee and water. It was relaxing and everyone was really nice there and just felt at home. Can't wait to go back. Ridiculous this salon wants a $50 deposit to hold an appointment slot for highlights. Tried to schedule an appointment for my daughter(who has been here before) and was told I could only do so with a deposit. Insane!! If I'm making the appointment, I'll be there. It's sad that just because the actions of a few other "no-shows" everyone else has to pay the price. Do you put a deposit down when you make a dinner reservation prior to actually going to eat the meal? No! I went in to get my tape-in hair extensions moved up. I included a before photo of my hair (which I absolutely loved...but they just needed to be moved up from the grow out). 4 hours and $300+ dollars later I walked out with this. I'm embarrassed to even post this on the internet. It is SO BAD. You can literally see my natural hair popping through the extensions. They are not blended what-so ever. I feel as through a "face frame" was trying to be done and instead it looks like 2 complete different layers of hair. I was very nervous because I am pretty picky when it comes to my hair and makeup. I showed up at 9:20 a little late (sorry girls!) for my appointment which was also scheduled about two weeks ago. After being a client for over a year, I was very disappointed with my last visit to this establishment. My stylist use to be very attentive and used to do a good job, so I rationalize that paying top dollar for the services (cut with balayage, highlighting) she provided was worth it. However, on my last visit in May, she had a "helper" wash my hair because she was working on another client simultaneously during my service. Although this is a minor part of the service, I did not get a good head massage like I usually get with my stylist. But, I understand the profit motive in multitasking, and I was willing to overlook this. What shocked me was the cost for my usual service went up substantially! I asked the receptionist about the cost, and she casually told me, "Oh, she has been promoted to "Master" or "Elite" stylist, (something like that) so her prices went up." What?!?!?! Since when do stylists up their prices without telling their customers ahead of time? The stylist is good, but really? Jack up the price by over $50.00 without mentioning it to the customer?? Exact same service, nothing extra, then Jack up the price? No thanks! I've been doing my job for over 25 years, and I've never received such a hefty raise! Sounds like Biden-inflation is being passed down to the customer! I'll find a more reasonable stylist. read more

I had previously been paired with a stylist, April, who was charming & did a great job. She left the salon, & my next appointment was with Ali, who also did a nice job. I called to book another appointment & spoke to a very rude receptionist who informed me that I would need to put down a $50 deposit for being a "new customer." And the appointment was a month out. Huh? I've never heard of anything like this at any decent salon. The salon is cramped, has crappy parking, & is super overbooked, so I was surprised by the haughty attitude from the first line staff. After my first appointment with April, I made a recommendation to a friend, & it took over 2 hours for a cut & dry (my friend didn't have time left for a style after spending 2 hours for a cut). Additionally, I was not a new customer. Hmmm, I wonder how Ali found the color mix that April used in my hair appointment that I came back for? Lastly, I will not be a return customer. Evidently they are doing well enough to not worry about customer service. Ally fixed my hair without blinking an eye!!! I had been to her once before, but unfortunately went to another salon in Temple in a time crunch. My hair had "hot roots"!! I have horrid gray roots anyways, then the fire red the previous salon had colored my roots, and the rest of my very long hair was dark brown. A hot mess! It is now 1 gorgeous glossy brown. I had to go back for her to fix it and she only fixed the top and not anywhere else so when I pull my hair up I can still see my dark roots!!! She charged me 150 for it !!! I was able to schedule a same day appointment with Audri, who has previously been given good reviews at this salon. Being on Main St in Belton near the courthouse, it has a small-town feel, but you'll need to find street parking and walk to the shop. That is until their parking lot behind the shops opens up! I thought they were very laid-back considering I ran late, but still professional. She listened to what I wanted, gave good recommendations and accommodated my style according to my preference.
