Walked in yesterday and they were packed but very courteous. Was asked to come back in @0 minutes and one of the customers called out "it's well worth the wait!" They weren't wrong. Brian did my pedicure and Ty did my full set. Visiting the area I was looking for a nail salon and was recommended Venice Nails by my family. They didn't disappoint. The emphasis on cleanliness, CDC guidelines, and the welcoming atmosphere was great and my nails look amazing! If you're in the Killeen, TX area in need of some pampering I highly recommend Venice Nails! Will be back next time I'm in town for sure.

I am visiting from Hawaii and needed my nails fixed, found the salon online and it had great reviews. Walked in and was greeted by Brian. He did my nails and my pedicure. Excellent job took his time asked me what I wanted and even helped me pick colors. If I lived here this would be my regular spot. Going to be hard to find a place that compares back home. My regular salon has nothing on this place. I do recommend making an appointment, the technicians are busy and walk ins may have a long wait. Thank you Brian for the great work!!! Update: I'm back in Killen and wanted to get my nails done again, and again I wast not disappointed. Love this place. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

This place is absolutely disgusting. There is a horrible odor when you walk in and it's not nail solution. There is also a fish tank that is so cloudy and nasty that you can't see the other side of it. That is most likely where the odor is coming from. Look elsewhere when wanting your nails done.

Needed a pedicure and saw recently good reviews for this place. For a Wednesday day of graduations it was busy and I appreciate the honesty of the wait time or the opportunity to go elsewhere. Received his number to text to Book an appointment with KK the day after and it was good. He is a one man show doing all the nail needs, so I appreciate his hard work. $50 for a pedicure with some sugar scrub, callus remover, unfortunate ingrown and regular polish. His customer service was good (offered a drink: got water) and friendly. I would appreciate cleaner materials (scrub brushed looked very used) and set up materials could use some help (nail clippings on cart with towel used to dry tools). Over all not a bad experience. Needed a new place to get my nails done before a vacation. After searching yelp, I came across this place. I read that it was best to make an appointment before going in, so I did. When I arrived, they addressed me by name and immediately ushered me to a chair. Then the kind lady brought me a drink of my choice, and a fruit cup! I picked my choice of type of mani/pedi, and colors for nails, and was able to just sit back relax and enjoy! read more

This is a very quiet salon, sort of a one man show. That's right, one guy. No champagne, no margaritas. Excellent service. Takes a lot of time. Sort of, "Do it once. Do it right!" My wife is picky, has problems with her feet, develops heavy pads quickly. Usually has sore tender feet after a pedicure. Not here. No left over tenderness. No complaints. Highly recommended K and Venice Nails on S. WS Young, just north of the freeway in Killeen. 5 stars, no doubt. read more

Just moved to Texas and have been stressing about finding a good nail salon to go to. I googled nail salons and saw this one had 4.5 stars on Apple Maps and good reviews on yelp so I decided to give it a shot. I love the outcome! Ty was very nice and did a very good job. Definitely found my nail spot Update: they don't do appointments and only have a few nail techs. Really well priced and he didn't rush through either service despite more people coming in needing their nails done. Took his time and my nails turned out great. They RUINED my nails by filing them paper thin with power tools. They talked me into the $$$ dipped powder nails by telling me a lie "your nails will be stronger " I was horrified when they removed the powder and my nails literally bent backwards. The men at this salon don't know what they're doing. read more

We just moved to the area and I needed somewhere fast to get my nails done. After looking at all the yelp reviews for the salons in the area I decided to give Venice a try. We were greeted immediately and ended up taking a seat in the pedi chairs while we waited so as the owner said "we could get a massage while we waited." I got a pedi and a fill and they took their time and did not rush at all. I'm used to places rushing you out as more people come in but not here. They let others coming in know that it will be a wait or to come back later. I will say this was the best nail salon I've been to ever and I will definitely be coming back! read more

Let's start by saying it was a rough journey trying to find a new nail tech after moving here from Colorado. I am so so picky. Brian did my full set white color acrylic and he did such an amazing job. He's very outgoing and easy to talk to. I enjoyed getting my nails done by him and I am officially making him my new nail tech person to go to! Bryan did a wonderful job on my pedicure. I had to have major surgery on both my feet last year, and although he was dubious about his ability to do my feet without hurting me, I assured him there would be no problem. And I was right. And he was very pleased at the fact that I was right. He and his wife run a nice establishment. He gave me a very good, solid, heavy-duty massage. And the hot stones were amazing! And they autoclave their instruments, which may now be law, but if it isn't, they do it anyway! I highly recommend this place. I have been to about 12 different places in town for pedicures, and I will not go any place else. I am there to stay! read more

I had an awful experience. My nails are uneven, too thick and far from what I asked for. When an issue arose, the manager came to inquire only then to talk about me to the other salon workers saying people like me aren't welcomed. ... it all started because I asked my nails to be a little shorter. It's okay, trust, I won't be back. The salon was empty when I arrived and empty when I left. So be it. I was charged 169 dollars for two pedicure and two full set of acrylic nails with gel polish. I'm sure I was taken advantage of! read more

The wrote the receipt out for five items Soak off (I didn't soak off anything) File and shape (she did not file and shape a single nail) Cut and Trim (guess what... not a cut not a trim) Buff and color (base acrylic is ALL I got) File and shape (yup, you got it- not a big not a shape) Total: 66$ I have no problem paying for services. Typically leave 50-100$ tip. However... My advice pay attention to what you are being charged for. Pay attention to what you are paying for. If you are paying for a service (ANY service) make sure you are getting that service. Also, if you expect to be taken advantage of and (like me) don't want to cause a scene, just ask for clarification and laugh about the repeated attempts at the associates to explain their mistakes while still charging you. Life is short and people should be honest and practice grace. I can show you 66$ worth of dishonest sales.... P.S: the young Afro nail technician, missed out on a pretty big tip because of this. I have been going to Elegant Nails and Spa for 7 years (both the old and new building). In the…read moreearlier years, my visits were great and I received quality work. However, recently, the work has been sloppy and the customer service not so great. In the past month, I have had 2 unpleasant experiences with the work done on my nails and the employee's customer service. The first incident, I was given a French tip with a clear base, although I showed a picture of what I specifically wanted (French tip with a pink base). It was not until I stepped out into the sun that I noticed the clear base. Every groove and file mark was showing through the nails and the white tips and clear coat were sloppily painted on, along with bubbles in my nails and lent. I gave it a day to see if the nails would grow on me, but they did not. The next morning I called and was offered to get my nails fixed free of charge. I agreed and went in. Once I arrived, there was a 30 minute wait, but otherwise, the receptionist was very sweet, attentive and helpful with trying to get my issue resolved. During getting my nails fixed (I was assigned another person to fix my nails) , I still tried to show a picture of what I wanted, however, there was a breakdown in communication. The person who was doing my nails proceeded to get another worker involved and she very rudely and loudly yelled "WHAT YOU WANT?, I SEE THE PICTURE BUT WHAT YOU WANT? DO YOU WANT IT THIN OR THICK?" I was confused by what she was asking and still tried to explain what I wanted, but grew frustrated and embarrassed by her tone and attitude towards me. I did not engage with her and thankfully, the tech I was working with intervened and started to work on my nails. While the tech was sweet and did their best, they did cut my skin multiple times. When I went to wash my hands, the co-worker was still talking about the incident and involving others, which I thought was unprofessional. Again, I did not engage her and focused on getting my service completed. At the end, the nails were still not what I wanted, and my fingers were now in pain. Feeling defeated, I decided to just keep the nails. Yesterday, I went in to get my nails redone as it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. I sat down with a tech (Tammy) and showed her the picture of what I wanted, which was French tips again, but with a milky white tip. Immediately, she started saying how the picture was another technique and that I would have to get that or get a full set. I asked her if there was any way that it could be done with just a refill using two gel colors. She said yes, but that it wouldn't look right. She also kept criticizing my nails and how "old" they looked. Once it was time to apply the white tip, she kept saying it was too sheer. I asked her if we could try another type of milky white or even mix colors. She then grew frustrated with me and said "You either get white or nothing, we don't mix." She then stood up, rolled her eyes and grabbed other white colors to try. We found a white that was close to what I wanted, however, at this point, the tech was frustrated and rushed my service, even not allowing my nails to fully sit under the uv lamp to dry. As a result, bubbles formed in my nails. At the end, my nails were sloppily painted, and again not what I wanted. If you are someone who wants specific nails, neat work, and friendly customer service. I would not recommend going here.

What happened today from a business owner is appalling. Ty has no customer service skills. What she did today was rude and shrewd. If a person shows you who they are believe them . I am a dignified military spouse. This is military community. I expect better from people you are paying to service you. It is apparent for whatever reason she does not want to service me. I guess she was offended after my response as she told me about a client that told her 2 year old not to touch her coat. I thought i was being diplomatic in telling her that women come to relax and to protect her daughter. I also told her we are to respect each other as we are each other's customers. after she ranted to me she should have put her ass out of her shop! Well it must have marinated the wrong way as I returned today, 3 weeks later, as she declined to service me the 2nd week , as she stated she was packed. So I thought i will try today. When I arrived she had one in her chair and no one waiting , she looked up and immediately said "i call you"! leave your number. I asked how long she indicated no time just" i will call you".I went to leave my number at the counter entrance and as I was writing a caucasian woman came in and Ty asked her what she wanted and told her pick a color. I asked her why she had to call me back and your telling this person after me to pick a color. She rudely responded Im calling my husband for her! I was shocked at her behavior! I went back 20 minutes later just to see if she had called her husband for this woman and the lady was seated and starting work on her nails. I checked back because I wanted to see where she was really coming from and I saw. My impression was I was just discriminated against! It seems her preference is caucasian and hispanic customers. For some reason she has an arrogance towards black females as I have witnessed. The last visit two black females came in after me and sat down wanting pedicures and she was fuming! This was at 10:00 am opening the door 15 minutes. As the young lady explained to her what she wanted Ty tells her" I only have two hands"! She prefers her regular clients and that is fine ,just say you are not taking new customers rather than be rude and mistreat people trying to pay you.We are paying you! For the record she didn't call back What nail salon turns away $$. There are plenty in Killeen that can give better customer service and do nails just as well. Ty does a good job but discrimination, prejudices, stereotyping, in this day and hour in this community is not welcome! May I suggest if you are a woman of color , go somewhere else that is grateful for you and your$$. No time for offensive customer service. When you get the big head And think your all that I guess you feel you can mistreat people. Wrong. read more

Superior service!!! I called and made appointment, got seen to get my pedicure. I got full service detox foot bath and nail's filed, trimmed and painted my favorite color Barbie doll pink. The gentleman "T.A." and his wife were so sweet, they even gave me a choice of drinks while I was able to sit in the chair and relax. Just, awesome!!! He told me they do birthdays, girls day and parties I'm so glad because this is where I will take my sisters and daughter!! I needed this so much... Thank y'all read more

I highly recommend!!! Walked in and didn't have to wait at all. I got a French pedicure with regular polish and a full set with gel polish and it was $74! Very nice, super clean salon and very friendly nail techs. Will certainly be coming back regularly when I move to the area! :) Side note: the card reader was down so I did have to go to the ATM down the way to grab cash, so maybe stop and get cash before you go in! Y'all! The customer service here is on point. The owners are so sweet and helpful. They're honest with you too, they'll straight up tell you if it'll be a while before they get to you. Their work is impressive as well, they take their time on each customer which is nice because most nail salons normally rush so that they don't keep others waiting. Fantastic service, I got a full set acrylic with gel and my mom got a pedicure. We are staying in a hotel currently and cannot leave our dog there by himself and the staff let us keep him in his carrier while getting our nails done inside the salon!
