Terrible service, and even worse owner. Was gifted a "full service" for my spouse and I. Coordinated every detail with the owner Jenna. Not only did she backtrack, she is now calling me a liar for leaving a review on her page. Threatening to sue me for leaving a real review. Save your money, this business is horrible. This is how they treat clients, my MIL was gifting us this as an anniversary gift, since my husband just returned from Afghanistan. Jenna and her front desk attendant was very rude, and dishonest. I don't think I can live without my monthly (or more often sometimes) massages! I was having major back problems when I first met my therapist. I had taken pain meds, been to a chiropractor, etc. It was also giving me migraines. She got me in, even though she was really supposed to be done for the day, just because she didn't want me to continue to be in pain. She worked on my back for a while and couldn't find anything. Then she had me turn over and found a muscle on my lower rib that was referring the pain. It made no sense to me but she was completely right and fixed it immediately. Since that time she has fixed shoulder pain and helped me rehab through frozen shoulder. I commute a long way and she had helped with sciatica caused by driving so much. She also does a great job on my neck and lower skull that is helping with migraines. The most important thing is that she listens carefully when you tell her what you like, what you don't, and what's going on with your body. She can teach you stretches and help you break bad habits. She is really good at helping you improve things yourself to try to prevent that pain in the future. I honestly consider this a medical treatment at this point because it had made me not need pain meds anymore and not miss as much work with headaches. UPDATE: it took me a whole year to work up the courage to try the float pod. My son did it and loved it, but I was still nervous!! It definitely helped that they explained it all to me before hand. It's very simple, but it was still reassuring to hear how to work the lights, music, etc. They have "pool noodle" type floats and headrests if you want them. I used the headrest at first but then decided I didn't need it. They also have earplugs if you don't want water in your ears. And a hair dryer for after you shower if you want it! It was NOTHING like I expected. I thought it would be like floating in a pool, because I thought your body was relaxed when you do that. Nope! You literally do NO work in the float pod. The salt content lifts you up! It really does feel like you're kind of suspended in mid-air. I couldn't imagine what I would think about the whole time, but it didn't matter because I fell asleep within minutes. I would wake up periodically and just notice how relaxed I felt and then go back to sleep. I wish I could explain better. I don't like to sleep during massages because I don't want to "miss" it. But this was different. It was a very restful and relaxing hour! I expected to be groggy when I got out, but I wasn't. I felt great, even though I had been asleep. I felt perfectly awake right away. My joints felt a lot of relief from pain I've had recently. I thought the room would be cold when I got out but it wasn't. There was never any cold from the pod, to the shower, to the room itself. It was all very comfortable. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, along with really nice fluffy towels and washcloths. (They smell good too! I need to see what kind of detergent they use!) If you are claustrophobic I don't think it will be a problem. It wasn't for me-- my son gave a very good analogy. It is the equivalent of being in the back of a minivan with all the seats taken out. When you sit on the floor, you don't feel claustrophobic because there is so much space around you. The float pod is about that same size. (Haven't measured--just guessing) I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it. I will definitely do it on a regular basis now!! read more

Had a prenatal massage on Friday and REALLY enjoyed it. Booked last minute with no issues at all. The space is calming and clean. The room for my massage was peaceful and even had a faux fireplace on the wall. In the past I've had prenatal massages with the pillow that had the hole for your belly, here we did side lying and it was much more comfortable than I was expecting! My massage therapist explained everything to me and was very nice! Would recommend and plan to return! read more

Karen is Amazing! I did my first float last weekend and after chatting with Karen before and after I booked a facial for this weekend. Now I'm writing my review and I'll be booking something for next weekend or the weekend after. My facial today was amazing and exactly what I needed. The time chatting with Karen was great too. If you are a talker she's easy to talk to and if you want quiet and peace, that can be found too. I'm so thankful I found this place!!! read more

After a small misunderstanding in the beginning I am very happy to leave another review to clarify that my initial dissplease turned out to just be a misunderstanding. I am very displeased in my first and last visit to Royal Oasis in Temple. I was looking forward to a relaxing 90 minute swedish massage experience that I had picked to use with the gift card my husband got me for my birthday. First, it took multiple attempts for me to be able to make an appointment because they never answered the phone line. I called several times and in one of my last efforts, I was texted back. All the information along with scheduling my appointment was over text messaging, which I found awkward. Fine! That was not such a big deal. Appointment day comes. I am finally laying in the table in the company of my massage therapist Jessica ( I will say she was great!), ready to let the calming music take me away and allow the massage to relieve my tired body for at least 90 glorious minutes! Yeah right! 3/4 of the time was spent trying to ignore the loud giggles and conversation 2 ladies were having next door. I was trying hard to tune them out without success so I asked my massage therapist if she could ask them nicely to keep it low. To my surprise, she was reluctant to go and said that there was no nice way to go knock in the next room and express my request. She did, however apologized and offered me some ear plugs. I respectfully accepted and tried to make them best of it. Of course the noise next door continued,only muffled now because of the earplugs. Again, I tried to make the best of it. Once time is up, I go to the front to provide my gift card and leave a tip. To my surprise, there is another lady in the front along with Jessica, that I later on found out was Jenna. She started with a pretty strong attitude scolding me about me not mentioning to her ( I can only assume she was the one I texted with to set up my appointment) that I am pregnant and that it should have been a different price. I wrote on the form they have you fill out before the appointment that I was almost 5 months but not showing and that I didn't require any special positions or equipment. The massage therapist and I went over the form prior to the massage and there was no problem mentioned. I've had 100s of massages previously and there was no alterations made that would allot for an extra charge she so desperately needed. Jessica somewhat mentioned that she had to give me the earbuds because of the noise, so I took my chance to mention how the noise next door impeded the experience to be restful or relaxing. Jenna just nodded her head with a defiant stare towards me without saying a word. No apology, no form of empathy. It dawned on me- she was the one next door to us! At the end, I ask for her name and what her position is, and of course with a snotty attitude she says "I'm the owner" I am pro- small businesses. My mother is a small business owner and because of her I learned that you always listen and treat your customers with dignity and respect. I got neither in this establishment by the least expected individual, the owner. I hope she learns to treat all her customers kinder....and I hope I don't have to waste my time anytime soon typing negative reviews because of someone been rude and demeaning. read more
