JD and Ricky, just great all-around guys who won't gouge you with unnecessary work. Our RAV is driving like new again and we couldn't be happier. I live in the neighborhood behind Kroger, just a quarter mile away from Tire Engineers, and now I've found great mechanics who are so close, I can walk home while they fix my car, and walk back when it's finished. It's a win win. Thanks for a job well done, JD and Ricky, it was a joy to work with you the other day. We'll definitely be back if we need any more work done on our beloved RAV4. God bless!

Especially for an European car specialist. So I had taken my car to 3 different shops, before I found out about Interactive Auto and Hiro the owner / mechanic. Those 3 shops had previously quoted me starting from $1800-$3300+. One shop even took months by leaving my car there to even gave me a quote. I do understand shops needs to make money, but I have a gut feeling once I drop the car off to those other guys they would continue to charge me way more than what's quoted. A friend said to me, "just take it to Hiro! He is honest and priced right!" So I trusted my friend so dropped it off. I kept asking him, how much would it cost? Hiro just told me, not to worry. He said, "cheap cheap." He also asked me when I would like the car back by. I told him before end of the month would be nice, but in my mind this job usually would take months before it's not an easy fix. It's a radiator fluid leak on a 911. Pretty much needed to drop the motor and quoted by other shops. It's one of those, other independent shops would get to if they want to. But not Hiro! He booked an appointment for me and gave me a promised date! As soon as I drop it off, a day later he started to send me picture messages of my car. Explaining what he had done and still looking at the possible leaks. Throughout the week, he still kept me in the loop. *The pictures uploaded here were all sent by him. That's how professional he is! He continued to update me, told me what he changed. Found more leaks, kept changing broken leaky parts. There were some parts like radiator hoses where he said he can get them made, that is better quality and 1/4 the price of Porsche to save me money. Then he made some suggestions, where it needed to change the CV Joints. He told me where to find it online for a fraction of the cost compared to Porsche. I ordered it and ship it there. Instead of Porsche's tech note that it would cost like $680 to replace it, he also only charged me 1/3 of the price compared to dealer. So overall I paid 1/3 of what other shops had quoted me and not a dime more. So, if you own an European, Exotics, Toyota, Domestics and/or Imports, GO TO HIRO! He's my Hero now! And the money he saved me from going to other shops. And his honesty is key! That meant a lot to me! I even brought him a bottle of whisky for the money he saved me! Thank you Hiro! The car now drives better than new! So quiet and smooth! Don't go elsewhere. Hiro is very trust worthy! You will not regret! You will long regret, getting ripped off by other shops come to find out Hiro is the best!

As aforementioned before, I can appreciate any level of integrity when conducting any type of…read morebusiness in Texas and the automotive repair industry overall. I support any business that strives on promoting quality, customer service to standardize a level of professionalism between merchants and/or its consumers, respectively. HOWEVER, any businesses' that lack accountability dampens the integrity of Texas and corollary creates a miscreant within and/or among business practices between merchants and/or consumers overall. Interactive Automotive Hiroshi/Hiro Yonekawa is one such business that lacks the customer service and integrity in the automotive repair industry. On Monday, I had scheduled an afternoon appointment at 11:00am, with Hiro to assess my Rolls Royce vehicle. I confirmed with Hiro our meeting a week prior and made arrangements ahead of time to drop off my vehicle and cleared my schedule for nearby appointments given 2-hour window period. Upon arriving at Hiro's shop at 10:45am, the shop was closed and Hiro nowhere in to be found. At 11:00am, I contacted Hiro to determine his "whereabouts" with no avail. After several phone calls and text messages to Hiro NEVER showed up and NEVER returned any of my calls and/or respond to my text messages. To put it laconically, Hiro "partied" the night before with his friends and was not able to show to his appointment he had set...simply put, this is not how you run a business among any professional standard! In fact, Hiro didn't even have the courtesy to return any of my calls for an apology! After reviewing another "yelp" of another unsatisfied customer, I can understand his expression for the lack of integrity and difficulty in communication as shared in that particular instance. Be that as it may, the communication with Hiro is nonpareil very parochial and one-way directional. Most consumers in Texas are very respectful and you don't treat Texans as an expendable "thing" as they pride their values by "word of mouth" as do most independent small businesses trying to emerge within a competitive industry. This lack of responsibility and lack of integrity only hinders the ability to work together in a positive direction. Thus, let my experience and others who shared their experience be a testament of the type of business and lack of service there of...

I called and spoke with Moe (owner/manager) and told him about coming in with Groupon. He told me about matching Groupon prices at the store and then told me about an additional fees of $10 (filter) and $3 (disposal) on top of Groupon price. This additional prices were listed on his Groupon deal, under the fine prints, so it was not a surprise for me and I appreciate being told about it over the phone as well. There was no wait upon arrival, so my car was pulled in right away. I was called upon to the bay and Moe showed me the condition of my car's engine oil and filters (cabin and engine). Moe was honest with his recommendations and I did not feel any pressure at all. I declined all the recommendations and they were fine with it. Oil change was done within 15 minutes and I was on my way. I did notice few things that needs to be corrected in my opinion. His regular oil change prices, as listed on his Groupon deals, are overly exaggerated! Savings by purchasing some of his Groupon deals are listed as up to 40-50%! In actual, it is only about 20-30% if you compare with the actual regular prices as listed at the store. Businesses should be honest on what the actual savings will be if they are offering any deals. They need to update and show their actual regular prices on Groupon instead of a made up high prices to lure more customers. Other thing I noticed was that at the time of checkout, Moe was on the phone on his AirPod. This was kind of annoying because it did look like he was talking to me and I was answering him back, but turned out he was talking to someone else at the same time. Focus should be only with one customer at a time to provide good customer service. I do recommend this place, but do checkout his Groupon deals before agreeing to any price/service. Do read all the fine prints if buying any Groupon deals.
