The entire process went smoothly from the presale review of options, pricing options, and know how of the staff. Installation was completed within one week for a job that was more complicated than anticipated. Pricing was transparent and everything handled professionally. Financing was a great option. They also arranged for painting and it was done beautifully and super quick! We compared several local options and some national names and ultimately molyneaux struck the right balance of large enough but local enough for us. We will go back for future work if needed.

This went on for two months. I finally gave up, but by this time my project had been significantly delayed. If the job is too small or beyond their usual skills, why not just tell me? I would have appreciated that far more. I would never go back to them for anything.

The following morning 5/19/26 the promised day of installation of carpet I received an email at 8:00AM that they had canceled my contract and wanted me to confirm a new contract for a 5/25/26 install date. I called the salesperson and explained that was not acceptable. He made some calls and got the install changed to 5/20/26 and later got an email changing the contract to 5/20/26, I approved that date. 9:00AM on 5/20/26 I get a call from the installer stating he was picking up my carpet and would be there soon. He arrived and showed up in a beat-up van and wasn't very happy. I asked where his crew was and he said it was just him. He looked around and said "there's furniture that needs moved, I only do empty houses" and left. That's where I am now....

We hired Molyneaux to install manufactured hardwood on our first and second floor. They were…read moresupposed to have it installed while we were on our honeymoon. Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.
