We bought two matching lights for our front porch and a motion light for above our garage door. We…read morepicked the lights out for the front porch from the display and the woman brought ours out from the back. We go home, go to put them up and they don't match. We called the store and the woman said they didn't have any more in stock, she'd have to order them, and it'd be in in 3 days. 3 days come and go so we call the store. She tells us they are lost on a truck but would be coming in. If we would have known it would take this long. we would have bought elsewhere. Onto the motion light- We ask a guy in the store for advice on an outdoor motion light and explain that we are going to mount it flat on the siding just above the garage door. He picks one out and even shows us that it's mounted this way on the box. We buy it, run the wiring and mount it. Within a week, we notice condensation in the sensor and then it stops working a few days later because it's full of water. Now we have to take this light down and remove caulking that we sealed it with. We take it back to the store and the woman says "yeah, I see it shows it mounted like that on the box. I really don't know because we don't sell a lot of these". She then opens the box and starts reading the manual and finds you aren't supposed to hang this light flush to the siding. She tries to blame it on us even though the picture is on the box is like that and the guy picked it out for us. We didn't read every detail because we know how to hang a light. Finally she agrees to give us our money back but because we paid cash we have to wait for a check in the mail. I understand that it's their policy but it's ridiculous. I paid cash so I should get my cash back on the spot. It's not like I paid by check and they have to make sure the check clears. So now they have the light and my money until I hopefully get my check in the mail within 10 days.

We all research online for ideas and go to website after website for the latest trends. It's exhausting. Cardello has a very easy to navigate website, but when it comes time to buy, we go to their amazing showroom store in Cranberry. I was in communication with Melody W. for several months via email. I sent her photos and she helped me design not only a perfect lighting fixture but was just as important or more important to us was the lighting ambiance. I don't know about you, but the wattage and bulbs today has become way above my knowledge base. That's why we turned to their expertise for exactly what we wanted our lighting to be. They stand behind their products and their service is above and beyond. Thank you. We couldn't be more thrilled and excited about it. We will be moving on to the next lighting project soon with their design team. Remember, you get what you pay for! Competitive pricing, a magnificent Cranberry showroom and top notch staff.

I'd really hate to leave such a low rating for a small business during the hard times of the pandemic, but I just don't think Cardello wants any business. I was looking for replacement shades for a chandelier. When we called to ask if they had any, they told us they have a lot of options and could even order something if they didn't have it in stock at the store. Great! So when we came in to see their selection, we asked an older gentleman where they were. Ha, he said they had too many to show us. What? Ok, could you direct us to where they are? Nope, you're better off going online. This man had absolutely no interest in helping. Not to mention, his mask wasn't covering his nose. Completely frustrated by that exchange, I immediately turned around and left the store. If you don't want my business then you're not getting it, sorry.
