Tack stripping they thought was ok to put my new carpet on.

I'm a first time home owner and I very foolishly hired these people to replace all the carpeting in my home. They did below the bare minimum work. Told me they couldn't take out the old tack stripping in a room I wasn't replacing the carpet in because they "didn't have the tool". My basement's tack stripping had been destroyed by moisture and not only did they not tell me but they put my new carpet on it anyways. Left "waves" in one room's carpet, wouldn't come back to fix it, and damaged my wallpaper. Frank's people aren't professionals so don't spend money on work you could probably do better yourself.

Here's the floor with the marks of glue or whatever it was they left on the floor.

Do NOT use. He will sub out the work like he did to us. We met him via ProSource of Bridgeville salesguy Adam Holbert for an Engineered Hardwood floor install 15' x 16'. Frank spoke of the skill/quality of himself & all his people. We hired him and he subbed out the work to his 'lead installer' Tom Deigan (do NOT use Tom's company either). Oh, yes, they installed the wood, walked back & forth across it as they installed it, left it covered in dust and told us NOT to clean it or walk on it for 3 days. Three days later it doesn't clean up.... fingerprints and footprints of dried glue everywhere. Glue that was to be wiped clear as they worked. They refused to come back, ProSource kicked the can down the road for 6 weeks and finally advised MagicEraser may remove marks. It did about 70% of the marks - we cleaned the floor w/MagicErasers. From standing position you cannot see the dots of whatever is still on the floor. We paid 100% for a 70% floor. No settlement reached so we sued and won at Magistrate level in Cecil Township, Washington County, Docket No. MJ-27306-CV-0000156-2024. Frank paid the judgment; ProSource of Bridgeville opted not to pay the judgment and added insult to injury by appealing the judgment to Washington County Common Pleas Court CV2025-00142. Currently an ongoing case. Frank Wittler, Tom Deigan, & ProSource claim to be pros at flooring and it took six week for them to 'learn' about MagicErasers? Come on.... may you not use them and find a true professional installer. [The floor was installed July 10, 2024.]

    Dining Room

Frank's crew installed our first floor kitchen, dining room, entrance and powder room in what was a complicated demo and then install. a mod century house with several remodels required some creative deinstall to prepare for the new Pergo Elements flooring. they said 2 days start to finish and it was exactly that. I only wish we had done it sooner.
