I unfortunately do not recall the name of the gentleman that came out but he was fantastic and honest.  I appreciated that. My home had been used as a rental property and the last tenants destroyed many things, including the carpet. I used professional strength cleaner and a heavy duty scrubber over the course of several days. I purchased an ozonator and used it twice on the home - and that carpet was so awful, it had to be replaced.  Molyneaux's local rep came out and evaluated my needs. He was able to offer a realistically priced product that would suit my needs, which was fixing damage and prepping the home to sell. After receiving the quote, I was in a little sticker shock. I delayed making an decision and even tried cleaning that carpet one more time.  The gentleman personally called me to discuss my delay. After a few additional questions and decisions, the price was able to come down a bit and I signed the contract that day. We used the financing option and it worked out perfect for my situation.  I was pleased with the install time and the subcontractor sent to perform the work. And my home buyer commented at how nice the carpets looked!  Guess, you can't really get a better testimonial than that.

She came out to our home, surveyed the room and gave us great advice along with help in selecting the right carpet at the right price. This last project was the final stage of a complete basement remodel. I had concerns about the installers coming in right after the full renovation was complete, maybe nicking things up etc...I also was worried about them working around a refrigerator an ellipitical machine and stationary bike. My concerns were completely unfounded. They left everything in perfect condition, moved what they had to move and did a fantastic job. The carpet looks great!! We couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend working with Allison and Molyneaux. We'll certainly work with them again.

For our most recent project, we had another person refinish our entry, powder room, hall and kitchen floors about 6 months ago that did an extremely poor job - uneven stain, waves and gouges sanded into the floor, dull finish and raised wood grain making the floor very rough. Mike Jones Floor Company were quick, efficient and did an outstanding job. They repaired all of the issues left from the previous refinish job. And the process was virtually dustless! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get their wood floors refinished and would use again without question.

Great Service! Excellent Work!…read more I had a VCT floor that was not buffed or waxed in roughly 20 years. The old coat of wax, originally applied, was worn off and nonexistent. This VCT floor, in a maintenance office, was faded, stained and looked beat up and worn. I contacted Sam, the owner of Rhone Floor Maintenance, for stripping and waxing services on this floor. I was very pleased with previous work that Rhone had done on other floors in the Building. Sam was very patient and knowledgeable in explaining the process, of what needed to be done to revive this floor. He stripped, scrubbed and applied multiply layers of wax on this floor making it look almost new. The best part about Rhone's work was his attention to detail. Sam was very meticulous, thoroughly cleaning all corners, wiping off the cove base and covering all to make sure there was no wax splashing on edge strips, cove base and built-in furniture. Sam Rhone Flooring did a great job for a great price!!! I will definitely call him back for future work or refer him to anyone needing floor work done. Building Buddies has a Facebook page, so through Facebook Messenger, I contacted the owner Jason to ask for estimates. He soon came to my house to view the proposed work, and he promptly emailed me estimates. Jason himself performed the remodeling of my bathrooms and the handyman work. He communicated about when he would arrive each day, and I thought that his work looked like a high quality. My attached photos show some of his work--tiled floors and installed bathtub, cabinets, toilets, faucets, and light fixture. (A different business installed the countertops and sinks, and I must still finish the painting and a few mirrors.) My husband and I feel very happy with our new bathrooms, and we will definitely consider hiring Building Buddies in the future to remodel our other bathroom, kitchen, and basement. As for the handyman work, Jason efficiently patched ceilings, replaced a window operator, replaced a light fixture, changed outdoor lightbulbs, and hung a bathroom mirror. He finished the work in a normal pace--significantly fewer hours than what a competing handyman company wanted to spend.

Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.
