We were quoted $160 to clean our carpets. When the worker arrived he quoted $175 (service fee). When we called the office and spoke to the person who made the original quote. That person said if we had called earlier she would have dropped the service fee. We live in a 55+ community. This reeks of a tactic to fleece the seniors. We face this all the time from vendors. On Thursday, scheduled an appointment for 8AM Saturday; at 7:45AM Karl called to note that the technician was running behind, but would be arriving by 9AM. At 9:05, I called Karl as I had not received an update nor had anyone arrived. I had the service tech come and and quote me a price, I said perfect let's schedule this for the following week to allow me to get furniture out of the way. I received a call from Leslie saying how disappointed she was in how the service wasn't done that day and if I wanted to schedule a appointment I should of called the office and not talk with the technician. How was I suppose to know about scheduling when I clearly did it with the service tech and the audacity of being talked down to. I have used Chem Dry for years, in Florida and in Nevada. As usual, did a great job for area carpets in my home. Courteous employee (Mike) who left no evidence of having been there. Just be careful when you call and give as much detail as possible to the office person. Ask questions. I was quoted an exorbitant price for the job, more than I ever payed for a whole house of wall-to-wall carpets.So I pushed back with that comment, and then was quoted the correct much, much lower price for area rugs to be cleaned in my house (not taken away, which is an option some customers choose). read more

I had a disaster yesterday because of my dog got sick and the carpet was soiled in many spots. John came out within 12 hours ,exactly when I requested and did a absolutely perfect carpet cleaning and disinfection. I cannot praise them enough. I called the company to thank them and found they are capable of cleaning and polishing all stone surfaces and do water extraction. Karl thoroughly explained the process and was extremely knowledgeable. They took extra care masking off and covering everything in the kitchen to protect from the process. I specifically called about cat urine removal on a rug. Over the phone I was quoted a total of $70 with a 15% discount to transport the rug and remove the cat urine. I asked if it was guaranteed that the urine smell would be removed for the $70 and she said yes. When the carpet guy came to the house, he gave me a quote of $90 for transporting and cleaning the rug PLUS an additional $70 to remove the cat urine. He said that he would rather not clean it because he could not guarantee the cat urine smell would be removed. read more

I recently had both my carpets and tile/grout cleaned and I'm extremely happy with the results of both services. I was surprised at the amount of prep work that was done prior to cleaning the tile & grout (another firm I used about 6 years ago to do the same thing didn't do anything like this). and again, once the job was over, I was pleased with the carefulness taken to ensure the job was done right and everything restored to how it was before. This was the first time I used this company for the tile. This was the second time for the carpet cleaning - they're head & shoulders above another firm I used years ago.
