We literally asked at every practice and had several follow up emails that ended with "someone will get back to you" with no response.(this was for recreation/less competitive teams btw so it isn't like my kid missed a tryout or anything) I get things get messy with a merge but my last email wasn't even acknowledged. If that is how Sting operates, we have no choice but to find a different place for our kid to play.

The coaches played dumb and said they knew nothing about it. That's a problem. I emailed corporate my concerns and a guy named Stuart reached out to me for the "internal investigation". To sum it all up Stuart already had his mind made up of what the outcome was going to be. I asked if I would know the outcome and he said no. We will be taking further action to make sure this does not happen again to another innocent child.

My son plays every week when the season starts and I've only smelled that awful poo, literally, once. If dogs are strolling around up here and lay a mound of poo, I imagine you can get a whiff of that too. Hopefully dog owners bring a baggie for picking that up because stepping in it would not be cool. Lots of kids out here too, playing on the grass. I enjoy watching my son play baseball here or when he has practice. Concession stand is open during games as well as a snow cone truck parked on site for an ice cold treat. There's a mini playground area that's great for the littles. Basketball court, soccer and baseball fields, trail for exercise/stroll. It's well kept & well lit.

Inside is spacious and has bleachers for the spectators and fans to sit down and enjoy the game. This facility also offers High School Hockey around the DFW area as well. They have a full-service bar inside named 19 degrees with multiple TVs and they also have a concession stand that sells food such as popcorn and nachos along with drinks. You can always log onto the Dallas Stars Children's Health StarCenter webpage for an accurate schedule of the day for times and prices. This is a really great "small gym." I needed a gym to rent out for a few hours a day for my team…read more The owner Marisa is so sweet and helpful. The gym fits about 7 panel mats (2 short) but it's enough to to get full specialty passes in if you just do a two step hurdle. They have garage doors so when it's nice out you can open them up for air flow. They also have those huge industrial fans to cool the place off when it's hot. There is one wall of full mirrors so your athletes are able to watch themselves as they practice. Currently they have a non spring floor, which I personally think is awesome. I train my athletes without spring so they're used to working as opposed to relying on the springs to do the work. After meeting the owner, another coach (Billie), and spending some time at the facility, I would definitely recommend coming here for any of your cheer needs.
