The food was good even if it did take us a while to get it; the swimming pool was fun. Altogether it wasn't anything super special, but then again I haven't tried everything out yet. Would go back.

The gate keepers are friendly and wave as you drive through. The staff somehow knows the names of all their guests and greet you by last name. It is very formal yet they treat you like family. The gym is clean and full of all the equipment you may need for a good workout. The locker rooms are fresh and clean and if you're lucky you can have your own assigned locker for an additional monthly fee. They offer a tennis member option and golf member option. My family were tennis members and after another year and some months, were able to move up to the golf membership. Both options give you full privileges to the pool membership. The families here are so friendly too. The kids have made great friends here. I feel safe to relax and not worry about the kids safety here at all. They have family fun events here often and we seem to spend a lot of time here.

The pool is never too crowded in summer which is great! The work shop classes quickly turn into a sales pitch for personal training so be aware of that if you don't want to be solicited to. My biggest knock to my rating (4 stars instead of 5) is there is always a good amount of dust and hair upstairs near the Alpha and GTX areas. It needs to be deep cleaned under machines and around equipment not just vacuumed in the main walk ways. It's pretty easy to spot large dust bunnies when you're on the ground doing ab work outs. My son plays every week when the season starts and I've only smelled that awful poo, literally, once. If dogs are strolling around up here and lay a mound of poo, I imagine you can get a whiff of that too. Hopefully dog owners bring a baggie for picking that up because stepping in it would not be cool. Lots of kids out here too, playing on the grass. I enjoy watching my son play baseball here or when he has practice. Concession stand is open during games as well as a snow cone truck parked on site for an ice cold treat. There's a mini playground area that's great for the littles. Basketball court, soccer and baseball fields, trail for exercise/stroll. It's well kept & well lit.

The gym fits about 7 panel mats (2 short) but it's enough to to get full specialty passes in if you just do a two step hurdle. They have garage doors so when it's nice out you can open them up for air flow. They also have those huge industrial fans to cool the place off when it's hot. There is one wall of full mirrors so your athletes are able to watch themselves as they practice. Currently they have a non spring floor, which I personally think is awesome. I train my athletes without spring so they're used to working as opposed to relying on the springs to do the work. Then again there are the Spaldings and over-tanned baggy golf shirt wearing douchebags all throughout. A sprinkling of snotty nosed 11 year olds who can probably run your ass all over the tennis court and look down at you because they get carpooled around in a Cayenne which is their maid's car. Oh, and the initiation fees. Yeah I'm probably bitching about the jerk-offs for the simple reason that I don't have a spare $150K or whatever to join their club. So if you are like me and appreciate a sporting tennis match now and again, GTC has you covered for minimal financial damage and a break from the country club routine. The courts are well surfaced and maintained. Lighting is fine. The pro's are laid back and good at what they do. The setting is pretty and pastoral with trees and parks around you and not much in the way of noise pollution. Tennis drills are fantastic out here. They run usually Monday through Wednesday from 7-8:30, Saturdays at 10:30 and Sundays at 4:30. Call ahead to make sure before you go. There are a lot of good players and some beginners and everyone I've met is cool. If USTA leagues are your game of choice, several teams are based out of here including men's teams coached by John Sisk who regularly make the playoffs and push deep into the Sectional State Championships in many cases, with a few runs to the Nationals as well. There are also some mixed dubs teams playing here with Eric Gordon running a team for the last several years. If you are a ringer or have some friends who play, you should come on out and check it out. And although the neighborhood around the tennis complex gets sketchy quickly, know that you can pick up some of the best pupusas around with a 5 minute drive after your match.
