D-BAT Frisco has nice facilities and decent equipment, but their business practices are extremely disappointing. I signed my daughter up for hitting and catching clinics. Neither the flyer nor the website stated they were baseball-only. When we arrived, the coach couldn't get softballs, couldn't teach softball techniques, and repeatedly used the wrong name for my daughter. She was uncomfortable and upset enough to leave halfway through. Staff admitted the flyer wasn't clear and said both clinics would be canceled. I expected a refund or credit for the $390 paid. I got neither, and follow-up messages were ignored. This isn't about coaching -- it's about accountability. Parents deserve better. read more

Love the set up at this location. Welcoming staff. The day we came we had an additional perk because we saw a mini petting zoo next door in the open field area. Llama, tiny pig, goats. So funny hearing the animal sounds. This was the first batting practice with a new baseball organization and it went extremely well for our son and his new teammates! Looking forward to the Fall season! Very clean set up and well kept, bathrooms included. There is also several benches, small bleacher and some fold up chairs for seating. read more

Good place for indoor training if it is really hot (like this summer) or raining. Kyle is great to help accommodate scheduling and many of the upfront desk team are very helpful. A couple points to help with your decision: 1. The batting cage machines do not really work that well and tough to get them adjusted to the right height for younger kids. 2. Some of their coaches are great with kids and others are not. Be careful if you have a younger kid that wants a lesson and make sure that the coach is appropriate ... You do not want a coach that speaks to a 5-7 year old like they are 10-12 because it will not be a good experience and the coach needs to know how to make it fun for them at the young age to want to love the game and learn at the same time. read more

terrible customer service , absolutely the worst d bat I have attended. next time , I'm driving the extra 20 miles to another location . no customer service from the young woman at the desk . she obviously hates her job and has a sour attitude. read more

I would rank this place 0 stars (if that were an option)! I never write reviews, but I wish I had read one before going here. The manager, Kyle, has nothing but apologies for defective products & scheduling mishaps. They're the 1st to charge a cancellation fee (even if your kid is sick), but only give apologies when they don't schedule a practice slot on their end. The "staff" are young girls who are too busy on their phones to "assist" in any manner. I really hope all of these franchises are not run this way. I'm beyond amazed that this place is still in business! read more

We moved from Keller where the staff at that D-bat became like family to us. I was sad about having to move and thought it wouldn't be the same experience. The staff at this location are amazing and take the time to get to know you (or we are just here too much lol!) either way we love the atmosphere and people! read more

Love all your instructors the amount of appointments you have available daily. We can usually get in last minute depending. Works well for our families schedule and budget. read more

Great, clean batting cage for kids of all ages. Everyone is very friendly and it really flows well no matter how crowded they are. Our 6 year old son loves it and we look forward to the lessons there when he is a little older. read more

My 5 year old is starting tee-ball in a couple weeks, so we stopped in to check out D-bat. We were very happy with the facility. The employees were very helpful and accommodating, batting tees and balls were provided, and since we were there early, before the after-school crowd, it wasn't intimidating or overwhelming for my son. Me and my boys loved this place! The facility is well maintained, the staff is super friendly, and Coach B was amazing! He took two boys who had very little experience and gave them confidence while sharpening their skills in just one lesson! We were in town from Austin for Thanksgiving week and I saw last minute that D-Bat Frisco had a camp over Thanksgiving. It was perfect timing because as soon as we get back my son has select tryouts. The registration process online was quick and easy. So my son went for a one day camp and loved it! When we arrived, we were met with all of the friendly staff, and coaches were taking boys back individually which was a nice touch. The camp was great and met my son's needs and he's ready for tryouts! We come up here to Dallas often to visit family and we will definitely be back. read more

Our son has been attending camp this week . We have been impressed with the coaches' enthusiasm and ability to keep the kids engaged .

There must have been a change in pro-shop area since the last two reviews in 2016 because we were there yesterday and were immediately acknowledged and assisted in our needs. My son worked with Taylor in a one hour lesson that was well-planned and wisely used. We will definitely return to D-Bat to work with Taylor and the other coaches again. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We were in there recently hoping to find my son a new bat. There was a middle-aged man (owner? trainer?) and a younger blonde female behind the desk. Neither greeted us, or even acknowledged our presence (and no, it wasn't busy...we were the only ones in there). We began looking at the bats, trying to find one that worked for our son, had him swing, etc. We were in there a solid 15 minutes, all the while the two employees were chatting away about personal topics. Maybe we didn't look important enough greet with a "hello" or a smile, or perhaps their personal conversation was too important to pause and ask if we needed any assistance (clearly we did after aimlessly trying every bay they had several times). We could've interrupted and asked for help, but really the total lack of customer service from the moment we walked in throughout the time we spent right in front of them only to be ignored was enough to make us want to take our business elsewhere. We've used the cages here a few times in the past as well, and experienced the same "snobbish" customer service then as well, but it was only for a brief moment while paying before heading back to the cages so we never thought much of it. We've since discovered My Batter's Box in Prosper for cages, and WOW they are great! It may not be the nice, new, shiny facility that D-Bat has, but the warm friendly service at the more "modest" facility is more than worth the extra drive time. read more

Facilities are great and welldesigned for lessons of any type pertaining to baseball. Cole Chandler is an outstanding instructor. My grandsons really liked him and improved their throwing and pitching skills. They are looking forward to the next lessons that are already booked. read more

Love this place. Staff are awesome and always fun for my family. Lines are sometimes long but cages are first come first serve.

We have been going to this D bat location for years and my son takes lessons there as well. Our experience has always been great and the instructors are patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. Jayson has been working with my son on pitching for a long time now and the experience is great each time. Personal opinion, I would like to see a couple more cages with pitching machines. There are only 3 cages with machines and the lines can get backed up pretty bad. It is a busy location and more machines would help to alleviate those long lines. read more

We have been going to D-Bat Frisco for 3 plus years. The staff has always been professional. Our instructor (Griffin Bailey) is fantastic! Not only does he bring professional baseball experience and knowledge but, has a great personality that works with the players, which allows them to relax and focus on techniques they have not done before, provides confidence to work through it and to achieve a higher level. The instructors are great at working with kids of all ages no matter if it's a private lesson or a camp. Both of my sons have been doing lessons there for years. The facility is the best around, and the staff is always super helpful. Whether we're there to hit off the machines, take a pitching or hitting lesson, or just get in some work on our own, D-BAT Frisco is where we go. read more

While the batting cages are nice, the customer service is poor. I was recently there inquiring about buying a bat and the young customer service girl behind the counter ( Sydney) was too busy doing her homework to be of any assistance. Once I did determine what bat we wanted to buy and that it was out of stock, we asked if they would call the other DBAT locations to see if they had it in stock. She flat out said, "no, you will have to call." Needless to say, we bought our bat on amazon. The same day, after using the batting cage, as I was leaving there sat Sydney still studying her math rather than greeting customers or being of any assistance. We'll probably still go to DBAT for the cages, but won't be purchasing anything else from the shop. read more

I came with my son's baseball team for batting practice on a rainy evening. Luckily my son's coach reserved a cage because it was packed. We were not at a hitting machine, my son's coach was pitching the ball. So, I can't comment on the machines. It was clean and a great alternative to canceling practice. read more
