It is unfortunate that this place is listed as a toy store, because it is so much more than that. My boys and I dropped in after visiting the bubble tea store next door. I am so glad that we did! My boys love legos and this place has so much to offer (see flyer in picture). This is the perfect place to build LEGO creations, host parties and just hangout! They offer different classes from robotics to stop motion for kiddos of all ages. My boys had an awesome time building creations alone and with the help of the staff. They offer no obligation monthly and yearly memberships, or you could just pay by day or hour; day camps are also available during school breaks. John and his assistants were very friendly and knowledgeable. John gave us a tour and explained how everything worked. The lounge area is very relaxing. We were even lucky enough to get Christmas time refreshments! This is definitely a place we will be visiting in the future!

We just love brickLAB! My son loves to go there and build plus pick out mini figs. We just had his eighth birthday party there this weekend and they were incredible. Made it so fun for the kids and super easy for the parents. You can tell they care a ton and we really appreciated all of their help!

The provided box for the purchased set (still in the process of rebuilding, as I took the set apart to build myself)

I had an ad for this place pop up on Facebook for the May the 4th be with you Star Wars event. Decided to swing by with a few of my older sets that I had already built in hopes of getting a UCS Star Wars set. I was very pleased with what they offered me for my sets. (they will use bricklink pricing and then offer a certain amount of in store credit or straight cash, more value if you go the credit route). I ended up getting myself the UCS A-Wing and was very happy with everything, it came built so I knew all the pieces were there. I don't know if they do this with all sets but they also had sealed instructions which was nice. Overall extremely happy that I found this store even as a older collector, and will definitely be back again to see what other gems I can find. Thank you BrickLab

When we arrived the hosts unloaded the car, set up, served food and kept the energy going to keep all the kiddos engaged.

This place is ok. From my experience They have a lot of substitutes so there's not a lot of…read moreconsistency in the way the classes are taught since each coach does it differently. I found that a lot of the times they start 2-3 minutes later than scheduled and end a couple minutes earlier so a 45 min class ends up being 35...my daughter has been at other gymnastics classes before and she enjoyed them a lot more. Idk if it's bc this is a huge gym w lots of kids but she just didn't seem to enjoy the classes so I ended up pulling her out.

This gym is ok. A few takeaways from our experience. Things…read morethat could use a bit of tweeking / improvement 1. All staff where the same colored shirts on the same day, so there is an identifiable uniform. Just as cheer wears a certian uniform, socks, shoes, bows etc. So they can be identified and show as a team. (Have different shirts for customers to buy vs the same as staff) 2. *Consistency* in how a class is taught when you have multiple instructors (different one each week) is key for many! (Example: warm up the same, next exercise/apparatuse the same and how the present, explain and demonstrate, and so on) -When there is so much variation students tend to get confused. 3. Show the student how to do the exercise, do not just mark it, as many do not have an idea. Example Cartwheel - show a cartwheel, explain a cartwheel, then help student do cartwheel (just like you do a routine marked or full out, show full out!) 4. When classes are going on, random gym kids are wondering the floor and getting in the way of others. This is a safety hazard and rude to the ones participating in a class. 5. Staff should not be allowed phone use (or even on the mat) during a teaching of a class. 6. Staff greets as one walks in, Hospitality goes a long way in a competitive market (vs talking to friends) Overall kids enjoyed, instructors are nice, however had no big take aways or building on skills. We will be looking for another gym to try.

Gets very busy, I like that it's all ages. My only 3 complaints are: 1. The randoms who watch their soap operas or whatever without headphones which adds unnecessarily to the noise level (the workout music is already too loud). People, if you bring your granny, buy her a headset. We have stuff we want to listen to, not her stuff. I'm a granny too, but I don't act like I'm the only person in the world. 2. Also people. Pipe down if you are on the phone. Nobody wants to hear your business. Keep it down Boss Baby, nobody cares you are working at the gym. 3. The hours are meh. It needs to be open longer on the weekend. How am I supposed to work out when I don't even get done running errands until 6?

Horribly run by upper management. Blair Schuyler is incompetent and only looks to cover his own…read morebehind. My experience led to me quitting this gym, and it is entirely management's fault for it. I was suspended twice for zero rule violations One day, I was working out and doing 4 sets of 15 barbell curls. On the very last rep of the very last set, I felt a shot of pain in my arm and let go and dropped the bar back into the starting position while screaming out an expletive in response. There were 2 staff members present within 10 feet of me. Neither said anything to me or attempted to correct my behavior as I walked off. One of them even laughed about it. A little over a week later, I get a call from Gavin at Member Services about how "we have a couple complaints from employees on how you're dropping weights and yelling profanity". When I asked how they could have possibly narrowed me down, they said "we went back and reviewed gym footage and checked all our members and it was you" Immediately, I was disgusted by the staff going behind my back instead of addressing policy violations to me directly at the time they occurred, as anyone would be. I was even more disgusted with "reviewing footage" over a single time of dropping a weight. So I said "sounds like the gym staff are being pussies and not doing their jobs". This made him angry enough at me to report what I had said to Blair, who in turn suspended me for 30 days out of spite of the language I had used on the phone with Gavin. I appealed this suspension immediately and won on the basis of no violation of the rules being present About a week after I had been back at the gym, I was there when I saw my ex friend talking to someone. About 10 mins later, I casually introduced myself to the other person and asked if he was friends with him. He said "no, he just tries to talk to me all the time". I told him some of my friend's history and said that he didn't have to talk to him if he didn't want to. We laughed about it. Conversation lasted 5 minutes and I left cordially. The person I talked to did not complain. My ex friend saw this from about 40-50 feet away and convinced the person who he was with to write a complaint on me. 2 days later, I get a call from Gavin about the complaints The gym then forces a meeting with me about it. How did I find out? Because I came in for a workout one day, checked in, and walked upstairs with no issues. 25 mins later, a staff member comes onto the floor and tells me that I can't be there until the meeting. I tell her I'm not suspended and she says that it doesn't matter. So I tell her that I thought there was a mistake because her front desk employee made no attempt to stop me. Her response? "Yeah, we purposely make them let you go by so that I can handle it more effectively". According to her, any random person can just be in the gym for 25 minutes and nobody can kick them out except upper management The meeting could have gone well but didn't. I told Gavin about how I was being treated unfairly, provided the facts of the situation, and reiterated that I never broke a single gym policy. Gavin tried to help me with Blair when he showed up to the meeting later on, but it didn't matter. Blair ignored the facts and threatened me that I was on the verge of a long term suspension because "this wasn't my first time". Keep in mind, I had never broken a single rule at this facility. Blair kept referencing "we just want this to be a family friendly place, I don't want one of your ex friend's friends coming up to you and starting a physical confrontation". Yet he failed to point out how having a conversation with a gym member violated any part of the code of conduct (whereas hitting someone in the gym would, which of course he left out) He claimed that me having the conversation with that person was "a weird form of instigating" and "bullying", despite the fact that my ex friend obviously knew NOTHING about what me and that person talked about. Even if he did, there is no policy that I broke by having a conversation with a gym member. Anyone can be complained on, but without any evidence of breaking the rules, it's pretty tough to punish that person. That didn't stop Blair from giving another 30 day suspension anyways. When they called to inform me about it, I threatened to quit the gym on the spot. Gavin tried to tell me "look you can just come back and this will be swept under the rug", and I did not care. I took it personally, as I should be. And as soon as it was over, I cancelled my membership. I filed a complaint on Blair with City of Frisco. They cost themselves with their over policing. What an absolute piece of garbage

My daughter had enrolled in a group music class at Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts and…read morehad already begun attending when we were unexpectedly told the class was canceled due to "low enrollment" -- a requirement that was never disclosed directly in communications before enrollment. When I reached out asking for a fair resolution (such as continuing the class, converting to private/semi-private at the same rate, or receiving a refund), owner Chris Duncan responded by removing my daughter from all of her classes, including the ballet class she was also enrolled in and very much enjoyed. There was no mention of any policy violation or behavioral issue--simply removal following my inquiry. This action caused real emotional distress for my daughter. She had formed bonds with classmates and the teacher, was excited for ballet each week, and had even laid out her ballet outfit ahead of class. Having everything abruptly taken away left her confused and upset, repeatedly asking why she couldn't return to class. I reviewed all enrollment paperwork and found no clause allowing cancellation mid-term for low enrollment, nor any provision allowing the removal of a student from unrelated classes for raising concerns. We were hoping for a nurturing, transparent, and supportive learning experience. Instead, the decision by Chris Duncan following our request for resolution has left us deeply disappointed. I urge other parents to get all cancellation and enrollment terms clearly stated in writing before enrolling.

Well, you get what you pay for. No glitz, no glam, no glitter about this place. Inconsistency with instructors (three in a year), curriculum, and award system (tokens for prizes given out with the first instructor but not the other two). We viewed the class on a TV screen but got to go into the studio once every other month to see them dance in person. The studio was always frigid (65 degrees) through the winter and summer time. I understand these girls are working up a sweat but they all came down with cold arms and hands. As for the recital, it was short and sweet. All classes (about seven classes with 10 girls in each) arrived early to get dressed. They all walked on stage and danced together. Then, each class did their own dance. At the end, they all got back on stage and did a final dance. Most other ballet studios have each class doing three individual routines. Depending on how long you want to stick around, I didn't mind this setup. The staff are mostly amicable. Shout out to Ms. Amanda for challenging the girls with difficult moves and also having lots of patience dealing with a bunch of girls with short attention spans.
